- mediaspree, on 08/12/2008, -25/+178RON PAUL (in before dave!)
- jaymzdean, on 08/12/2008, -15/+151It's one thing to disagree with RON PAUL's preferred style of government, and it's quite another to agree with a media, owned by the likes of General Electric, actively limiting the scope of discussion by limiting RON PAUL's exposure compared to other candidates.
If you condone that practice, I'd like to hear from you, how does that reflect any of our American values? - Jeezopete, on 08/12/2008, -27/+145Thank you Dave! You are a true patriot! The persistant enthusiastic comments are very much appreciated and admired! RON PAUL!
- inactive, on 08/12/2008, -12/+116Really love this one;
`Do you ever wonder of the 56 men that Signed the Declaration of Independence?
Five: were captured by the British, tortured and died.
12: had their homes ransacked and burned.
Two: Lost their sons in the Revolutionary Army
One: had two children captured
Nine: fought and died from wounds and hardship in the Army
They signed and pledged their lives, their fortune, and sacred honor.
What kind of men were they?
24 were lawyers
11 were merchants
9 were farmers and plantation owners.
All well educated men of means.
They singed the Declaration of Independence knowing the penalty would be DEATH if they were captured.
Many accumulated debts and died in rags, penniless.
Some were hounded by the British sending their family to safe havens, serving in Congress for free. In the process they lost their possessions and poverty was their REWARD.
This is the story and sacrifices of the SIGNERS OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE.
These were men with security, soft spoken men, not WILD EYED rabble rouser's. MEN OF MEANS, BUT THEY VALUED LIBERTY MORE.
They stood tall and unwaivering for the support of the Declaration of Independence!
They gave to you and me the privilege of a free land.
Dave's sacrifice seems a great tribute to those who sacrificed so much!
Long live the Revolution!
Go get em' Dave!
Write Dr. Paul in!

www.campaignforliberty.com - Kent4jmj, on 08/12/2008, -28/+112the sportsstar troll was no surprise but pajeff2 is a new one to me.
Ron Paul for President.
Go Dave! - YodaJones, on 08/12/2008, -21/+100Ron Paul is the last politician alive in America with Morals and ethics. That is the state of the union.
- vango, on 08/12/2008, -15/+83Go Dave Go!
- electricwaffles, on 08/12/2008, -13/+81Don't stop believing, Dave.
- inactive, on 08/12/2008, -11/+77'Dave' slings good 'ole Ron-Paulitics while others ignorantly just sling Paul.
I think I like Dave. - juankovo, on 08/12/2008, -14/+69I'm with Dave.
- inactive, on 08/12/2008, -6/+54Sportsstar67 and pajeff2 are the same person. They both make the same spelling and grammar mistakes and both have "opinions" that are one line.pajeff2 claims to be a war hero, doctor, and owner of a chain of grocery stores. sportsstar67 claims to be an exmarine and political expert.
Both of them claim Ron Paul is a racist even though that has been completely debunked. They pretend the evidence does not exist.
It was not until he was caught using a duplicate account that his "son" was born right here on digg.
It is kind of pathetic in a way.
I generally just bury his comment without response because the only one who really agrees with him is his "son" born on the internet.
His one line responses show the depth of his intellect and the fact he cannot seem to use a spellchecker shows his level of education.
He will make baseless and unsupported accusations and never seems to be able to back up anything with a link.
I think deep down he knows Ron Paul is right and he knows that the way of the freedom and liberty movement is the way of the future and he's just afraid of becoming completely irrelevant.
Look for him to create more internet born "children" so his submissions will get more than one response.
They should be pretty easy to spot given his grammar mistakes and misspellings of the same words. - kemp34, on 08/12/2008, -5/+46You already said that 10 comments above. It is as stupid now as it was then. Thanks.
- crazycarman, on 08/12/2008, -15/+54Go Dave...
Yes ... sportsstar is a troll that bashed my YouTube Rally videos.
What a worthless existence he must face.
Can't spell worth a damn either!
HAHAHA!!
TROLL!!

- Trustar247, on 08/13/2008, -13/+43Dave is worth every single one of the Diggs here many, many times over.
I'm very proud of you and your work for the Revolution. Keep it up always! Now if we all did the same we'd be in great shape :-) - Kent4jmj, on 08/12/2008, -3/+32I admire you're ability to dig a little deeper. It adds a great deal to the overall understanding of the dynamics behind the scenes. Thanks.
- smebbin, on 08/13/2008, -1/+30I am definitely on the write in ;)
Ron Paul! Wooot! - jfej004, on 08/12/2008, -5/+34I think it's funny how you actively search for Ron Paul DIGGS that aren't even popular yet. What does that say about you? Does that constitute playing with your computer?
- CH3CH2OH, on 08/13/2008, -9/+38From the comments section:
"it is great to see that there are many people now who dare to speak their mind, and do not care if those who don't yet understand would choose to mock them.
people don't agree on everything all the time, and don't have to;
but to be open to information and dialogue while being firm in solid principles and convictions, will eventually bring about the kind of change to benefit everyone.
another comment left on that article, 'the magazine covers that michelle obama has graced' frankly states,
'cult of personality is profoundly unamerican, and like any idolatry, unworthy of a free human being.
with every idol or celebrity created in america, america is more alienated from its foundations, and the people lose more and more of their freedom, their prosperity and peace, until they find themselves empty-handed and enslaved, in a bloody fool's paradise.'
but when people honor their birthright and the spirit of the constitution, and exercise their freedom not to lose it, they will see change: they will then be able to make responsible decisions, based on their best knowledge and understanding, and their conscience. even though outnumbered, RON PAUL consistently voted for his conscience in congress, maintaining his integrity in a cesspool of corruption throughout ten terms.
this is true patriotism, that shows true concern, and equals love.
and this is why he has already won, and will win in any case.
'it's about the message.'"
-dave - inactive, on 08/13/2008, -24/+52I'd vote for Ron Paul over Obama any day. About a million times more experience.

- diablo75, on 08/13/2008, -7/+33My name is Dave.... And I still have a Ron Paul for President bumper sticker on my car. For a sec I thought this post was about me, ha ha ha.
- inactive, on 08/12/2008, -9/+35Sports star, huh? I didn't know circle jerking was considered a sport.
- wstrucke, on 08/13/2008, -4/+28No, you're confusing "discourse" with the few posts that make it through.
The political discourse on the internet has devolved to "OMG OBAMA!" or "McCain == Bush, bleh!!"
I'm not saying anything about either of the two candidates selected by the american corporations (read: they win no matter what, while you think you are getting something different, wool over your eyes and all that), just that if this guy can get his message across, good for him. you don't have to agree, but if you think someone is a l0ser for having a different opinion, then you are no american. - CoolHandLuke70, on 08/12/2008, -12/+32You are a kid/white supremacist? Odd comment!
- gittenlucky, on 08/13/2008, -5/+24Im thinking a Ron Paul write-in for the election. I really wish he would officially run as an independent. I believe he would get the most votes for an independent ever, even if he doesn't win, it would help to strengthen CFL.
Thanks for your efforts Dave.
It seems people just plain don't know about Ron Paul, but when I explain to them what he is about, they always get interested. Even though I don't agree with him 100%, I at least know where he stands and how he will vote, and having an honest candidate that supports the constitution is very important. - inactive, on 08/13/2008, -10/+30 We're all DAVE!
- scoot87, on 08/13/2008, -4/+25I never knew that being Asian and donating to Ron Paul made me a white supremacist. Pretty Sweet!

- fuzzmeister, on 08/13/2008, -0/+17Cheeseron, that rule essentially only applies to free ads, as it excludes documentaries, interviews, newscasts, debates, etc. Also, it only applies to broadcast stations.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equal-time_rule - Nerys, on 08/13/2008, -3/+19Thats what people seem to forget. ITS NOT A MULTIPLE CHOICE SELECTION!
You DO NOT have to select from the list of names on the ballet. You can write in ANY name you desire and this November I am writing in Ron Paul. - inactive, on 08/13/2008, -8/+24hah, I found you onetimer. I had to scan half way down the page but I found you. This article has been up for 11 hours, how come you got here so late to quip about how stupid Ron Paul supporters are?
- cnot3, on 08/13/2008, -1/+16hold on to that feeeeeling
- Iztikeit, on 08/13/2008, -1/+16Under the Constitution slavery didn't make sense, but it still persisted. Don't blame "America" the ideal, blame American politicians and bastards who did those things because of greed and pride. Those people weren't American (the whole "life, liberty,...." thing), they just lived in a place called The United States of America.
The Constitution cannot, and MUST not, be blamed for any of those transgressions against humanity.
Those things you mention do not tarnish what America was meant to be. - inactive, on 08/13/2008, -8/+23Great comment from Brandy,
Keep the faith, Dave. People are starting to wake up! First we have to help them UNLEARN all the silly distracting propoganda that the mainstream media parades around in. Then we need to tell them the Truth about how there is only one major party in operation in the USA, the Republicrats, and they are the enemy of all ideals the Founding Fathers set forth in the Constitution for the protection of our liberties and national sovereignty. Common sense must be restored to politics before our Republic will ever see its former glory. A toast to Dave, and all those like him who are spreading the freedom message far and wide! The R3voLution has begun! VROOM!

- inactive, on 08/12/2008, -8/+23Don't you get tired of trolling every Ron Paul article?
I'm beginning to think you have no life. ;) - teichenauer, on 08/13/2008, -2/+16Don't insult the trolls - it only encourages them.
http://onedollargas.tk/ - ZenMojo, on 08/13/2008, -5/+19America has never really made sense. If it wasn't the Native American genocide, it was slavery. If it wasn't slavery, it was Japanese internment. If it wasn't Japanese internment, it was the destruction of South American democracies.
The US never changed, you just grew up and read a book.
The one defining good thing about this government is that it CAN change, and I thank God that it's true. - gittenlucky, on 08/13/2008, -0/+14As much as I love RP's campaign, he is not the only one left with ethics. He has opened my eyes to a few other politicians that are not corrupt.
- inactive, on 08/13/2008, -8/+21"May the Living God lift-up Ron Paul, as the next-prsident of this nation. In the name of Yahshua, we pray- Amen, and AMEN."
- Trustar247, on 08/13/2008, -2/+15Well, for one thing, the U.S Constitution and form of government is the world's oldest at this time. That is because it has had Freedom and Liberty as its founding principles. However, with these foundations crumbling before our eyes, the nation may go down as well.
Ron Paul's ideas are in fact those that made this nation great in the first place but which have been eroded by congress and we the people having allowed the banks and corporate interests to take over and control policy contrary to the ideas that the founding fathers did have.
Freedom Rules! - inactive, on 08/12/2008, -9/+22No just sounds like U
"kids playing with their computers and white supremacists throwing some money around"
SS67 - groovezilla, on 08/13/2008, -5/+17Its "branding" on the internet. Its simple and a brilliant technique.
.... And, RON PAUL should have been the candidate. No f**kin question. -
