- vincew, on 10/10/2007, -14/+165Lots of well deserved criticism for Bush, but at this stage I think the Democrats owe us an impeachment. Let's have some well deserved criticism there too.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -12/+96If congress does not act in September, every soldiers death with be at their unwillingness to uphold the constitution. The President and Vice President must be impeached immediately. No compromise. It may be a game to Bush, but it is not a game for the rest of the world.
- AlphaMack, on 09/26/2008, -12/+94Anyone who thinks that the spineless democrats in Congress are going to do anything are fooling themselves.
- Kevmo68, on 10/10/2007, -8/+79I've rarely seen anger so eloquently stated. If this was the 60's people would be rallying around those thoughts and it might even be a speech some high school history teachers use years later to show how the public felt at these times even though the history books showed otherwise. But, no, this clip and the broadcast itself will be tossed aside with merely a second though until tomorrows "Video of the day" on You Tube or Digg due to the insatiable appetites of the immediate needs of todays web viewers. Sad.
Bravo! Mr Oberman. Bravo! - the6thReplicant, on 10/10/2007, -8/+68In the long run the Republicans might bounce back from the Bush administration but I think non-one will ever trust the Democrats ever again. Lying about a blowjob is one thing, but watching your country go down the tubes and saying "well we don't want to rock the boat" will haunt them for a much longer time.
- SeethisPass, on 10/10/2007, -15/+63 Guiliani is the one man on earth that I think would be worse than bush.
- Waiting2awake, on 10/10/2007, -4/+49As it was stated to me. You will lose your freedom not from some invading army marching over the hills, but by good-willed people who will take away your accountabilities for your own good, and in return, take your freedom. Your freedom will be taken by a smiling, well dressed man - not some soldier.
- USMousie, on 10/10/2007, -22/+63Folks–
The only way to get this war machine shut down is to expose its malevolence and consciencelessness to the people who can vote it out. It isn’t just Bush– it’s a whole structure of neo-con con-men who move in synch in Washington positions and control the direction of the administration. The only way to make people understand what is going on is to truly investigate 9/11 in the public’s eye without whitewashing and refusals to subpoenas and lies. Please– this is happening but we need everyone’s help. In NYC we are creating a legal independent investigation of 9/11 but we need the world to know (partly so they can’t just ‘disappear’ us) and we need donations, even $5 helps. Please help spread the word, put the addy in your signature, tell friends…. nyc911initiative.org .. the only way to topple the power structure and put the United States back into the hands of the patriotic Americans who own it is for people to find out what their government is willing to do to us for its evil goals of endless, unprovoked war and repression back home. - swrlyhrly, on 10/10/2007, -10/+42Only about 2 months ago i came across Olbermann when i watched one of his video's on here. I've heard criticism and praise for him but i honestly can't think of anything bad, dishonest, or i guess even biased about him. To me he seem's very honest in what he says and everything he says is well thought out, a very good change to the "Omg turrist and omg 9/11". He did run a spot about David Vitter's wife and what she wore to that press conference, but the next day he did a somewhat lengthy apology for it, and that just raised my respect for him even more. I never heard a thing from anyone about how that was wrong to do and he still realized it was wrong and apologized for it.
Anyway, I guess my point is for those that say bad about the guy, I'd like to hear it. - omgTHEPATRIOTS, on 10/10/2007, -5/+33what universe do you live in
- kurttrail, on 10/10/2007, -5/+32It's kinda hard to get anything done when you don't even have 50 votes in the Senate.
They are trying, but the Dems just ain't the kinda folks that can Goose Step together all that good.. For Goose-Stepping ability, there ain't no party in AmeriKKKa better than the Republicans. - Duffeh, on 10/10/2007, -10/+34Please tell me you're talking about Bush
- norman619, on 10/10/2007, -2/+26Anyone who thinks the next pres will pull us out of Iraq is incredibly naive.
- plhearn, on 10/10/2007, -0/+23Oh noes! The dems need to quit fear mongering or the terrorists will kill us all!
- ezzonguard, on 10/10/2007, -14/+37stick it to him Olberman! way to go.
- Vinadetta, on 10/10/2007, -3/+25The War on Terrorism is a lie!!! We were lied into a war with Iraq: Now we will be slowly be lied into a war with Iran!!! We need to IMPEACH and take this country back!!!!
- Pilot85, on 10/10/2007, -1/+22Democrat's fear mongering? What?
- bitcloud, on 10/10/2007, -1/+21the fact that he recognises there is a criminal running the country doesn't make him biased...
- mississippiman, on 10/10/2007, -3/+23I'm pretty sure he said he was a Brit. As in British.
Jesus man, you must be a special kind of stupid. - fuzzynyanko, on 10/10/2007, -1/+20Argh. I hope it won't be Guiliani vs Clinton in 2008, but knowing the parties...
- Tezkat, on 10/10/2007, -5/+24Anti-bush bias....ha ha who cares, there's a reason there is so much anti-bush bias, and if you pro-bush idiots would open your eyes, you'd jump on the anti-bush hate conga line too.
Keith is the mann!
*****' kids. - natedouglas, on 10/10/2007, -4/+22Cheerleading? Really? How does this work? I mean, I was under the impression that the people giving money and weapons to these ***** were people in the military-industrial complex, who are the most Republican of the Republican...
- mickeyknoxxx, on 10/10/2007, -20/+38The Rockafellas
The Taft's
The Bush's
The Harriman's
The Ford's.
They have controlled the U.S. government and MIC since 1855.
I am putting together a 2 hour documentary to prove it. I have thoroughly investigated this for the past 3 and a half years. - gumbright, on 10/10/2007, -1/+18Don't focus on the god thing. The general viewpoint is good and correct. But readthis, it won't be a god that fixes this, it will have to be us. We made, we have to protect it.
- tadeuz, on 10/10/2007, -10/+26psycopath. no feelings
- toddcat, on 10/10/2007, -10/+26Given Monkey Boy's continued evisceration of freedom in this country, he was due for this one. His butt hurts.
- thomasprebble, on 10/10/2007, -2/+17The majority of Americans hate Bush.
- mississippiman, on 10/10/2007, -6/+21Ya know, I've always wondered how the world looked to someone who has their head up their ass.
So tell me, hows it look? - omgTHEPATRIOTS, on 10/10/2007, -4/+18clearly you did not see the Special Comment where he ripped into the Democrats for capitulating on the last war funding bill.
you live in that alternate universe with mr. spaza, where you believe what you want to believe. - tpodr, on 10/10/2007, -5/+19Here! Here!
Enough of all this long winded 'talking'. Give me my short sound bites. If a problem can not be reduced to a a single sentence or slogan, then it is too complicated for us to debate. In depth debate and the nuances of governance has no place in the sphere of public discourse.
Give me a sound bite or give me...(I'm sorry, what was I talking about? I lost interest.) - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -10/+23Countless patriots have bravely fought American wars for freedom, liberty and for the preservation of comfort and security of their fellow man. And now all they have fought for has come under attack, not from an outside invader but from those who swore on a bible to uphold the constitution as public servants.
Our founding fathers warned that the dismantling of the United States republic would not happen from an outside invader but from within. Will God, who led so many of our forefathers to this great land of freedom, set us free from the consequences of indifference or the obligation of retribution? - rompom7, on 10/10/2007, -3/+16A little late, http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/
But the more info the better, I say. - thomasprebble, on 10/10/2007, -6/+18There is a God. Now if only more of you were getting out there to speak against this war mongering criminal.
- Dgen_X, on 10/10/2007, -4/+16No...we all hate bush for...well...every day since a couple weeks after 9/11, and I had hated him when he was running for president.
I, like the rest of the country, stood behind him after September 11 2001, and then the lies started....so the national unity was destroyed, and the never ending war in Iraq started.
Us spoiled whiny brats have reasons to hate him,but it is hatred with a reason. I do wonder what your reasons are for still standing behind him.. - Myonosken, on 10/10/2007, -2/+14Well as a Brit looking in, AmeriKKKa isn't far wrong for your justice system.
- NSMike, on 10/10/2007, -8/+20Those next 500 days scare me more than September 11th ever did.
- rarson, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12I don't give a ***** about either party, I just want some decent politicians in office. Not "Republicans" or "Democrats."
- mississippiman, on 10/10/2007, -3/+14And saddly digg is also a place where ***** like yourself are heard.
- robisfunky, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11consciencelessness??? wtf?
- onlynameicanget, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9James Spaza - today's Worst Person In The World!
- bitcloud, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10the majority of citizens in the world...
that numbers in the billions... - letsgopens2006, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Canada is too close and will soon be part of the NAU anyway.
- jspegele, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Quick, elect Rudy. He eats terrorists and fear mongering democrats for breakfast.
- ScionAltera, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8He's biased - but so is everyone. His show is kinda goofy; I mainly watch for the special comments because they are pure gold. Olbermann is the Edward R. Murrow of our generation. The difference between his bias and the other guys' bias is that he fact checks his statements before he makes them. He is just as guilty as the other guys of cherry-picking the facts that support his argument, but he doesn't just make stuff up and spout baseless generalizations like Papa Bear and FOX seem to. Every time he makes a claim he backs it up with a quote or a video clip so you hear it straight from the horse's mouth. That is how journalism is supposed to be done.
- oblivinated, on 10/10/2007, -3/+11Let's see him turn Iraq into the best country in the world first. Then we'll talk.
- cphelps, on 10/10/2007, -3/+11I won't say whether I like or dislike Olbermann because I don't watch him, but that is one of the greatest comments ever.
- preisler, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10More than a washed up sociopathic playboy from Texas who has failed at everything he's ever done apparently.
- rarson, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8I'm sure if Ron Paul were elected, he WOULD get us out of Iraq, and quickly, but I don't think Paul will be the next president.
HOWEVER, that's not going to stop me from voting for him since he's the best candidate in my opinion, and that's the whole point of democracy, to vote for the best candidate. - moulin1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9The American public needs little convincing. Most republicans are beyond reason. The deaf ears in all this are Nancy Pelosi and the “appease the president, maintain the status quo, and collect the corporate bribes” democratic leadership. I hope they heard this.
- rarson, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8I would love to move to Amsterdam.
