Constitutional right?

wnd.com — What is unconstitutional is the infringement of government on the Church, by dictating the teachings of the Church. But I won't be surprised if the courts abuse this basis tenent as they already have done so in many cases. This will be just another circus gathering for the media to promote their agenda.

It is the standard bearer for the way that we should live. No person can destroy the Word of God, because God tells us that his word lives forever!
  • teknokon, on 07/09/2008, -3/+7Has he considered suing the Muslims over the content of the Koran? They take a dim view of homosexuals, too. In fact, they openly advocate executing them. Of course, that would probably cause this joker a little more than "emotional pain". If the Bible bothers you, don't read it. Simple as that. If you're going to sue someone, sue all "anti-homosexual" religions equally. But I suppose consistency really IS the hobgoblin of little minds.

Jesus is Lord of the Jews and Gentiles as well as the heterosexuals and homosexuals. God did destroy Sodom and Gamorro in the Old Testament because they didn't change their homosexual ways. But in the New Testament Jesus says that he didn't come to condemn the world, but to save it.

The bible comes from God and there is nothing offensive in it unless you happen to committ one of the many sins described therein. Homosexuality is definitly one of these as it well should be as it is a destructive type of thing which is very damaging. Additionally you have no rights which guarantee your freedom from being insulted. This guy needs to grow up and face reality and stop trying to rip off anything and anybody he thinks he can get money from to finance his free ride at the expense of society!

    Not yet it isn't! But if we aren't wary of the "hate speech" laws they keep trying to pass it very well could be! In Canada Preachers are being censored and fined for teaching the Word of GOD on homosexuality. The homosexuals are pushing the same agenda here in the USA and we must be on guard as the are making huge progress in EVERY AREA OF SOCIETY.

Those who want to live and promote the homosexual "lifestyle" would eventually come to suing the Bible publishers, because the Word of Yahweh is the source that names homosexuality as sin. What will they do next, sue Yahweh Himself? How much good did practicing homosexuality do the citizens of Sodom & Gomorra and their suburbs, when they and their towns were turned to white ash? There are plenty of references in Yahweh's Word that say for a man to lie with a man as with a woman is confusion, that those who have not repented of homosexuality will not inherit Yahweh's Kingdom, and that we must be OVERCOMERS, not yielding to sin and sinful ways whatever they are. ALL of us have sins of which to repent, and ALL of us are in serious need of Yahweh's mercy and undeserved favor, including this fellow who is suing the printers of Yahweh's Word for printing the words therein that name homosexuality a sin. In the end, the winners will be those who submit to Yahweh's Torah and practice it wholeheartedly, overcoming all their sins. They will have a joyful and productive eternal life far beyond the human ability to conceive. Great is the Name of Yahweh, and great is His eternal Kingdom under His Firstborn Son, Yahshua! AMEIN! AMEIN!

Or does he really think he can get a judge to swallow what he knows is a load of hogwash? In any event, I hope he is forced to pay for Zondervan's and Thomas Nelson's legal costs.

    This man has no fear and is very clever: the recent craziness of the courts has not escaped him: banishment of religious symbols and Ten Commandments; bypassing the will of the people and enshrining homosexual marriages; turning schools bathrooms and even locker-rooms into co-ed zones,,, Why there must be some little old self-respecting court somewhere in the Nation willing to turn the tables on God Himself! And if not the ACLU will smell something amiss and come to the rescue.
    Meanwhile our confused pervert sees dollar signs to the tune of millions floating in his reprobate mind. Come down to earth, sinner! Repent.

    There is so much hurtful media out there. Kiddie porn that truly wrecks Innocent lives; hiding behind the guise "it's virtual kiddie porn". Adult porn addicts tears families apart. How tos that show bomb making so many lives may be taken at one time. Alcohol rips families apart.....drunken drivers, drunks battering family members, etc. How tos on taking a regular handgun and turning them into killing machines. Violent video games that encourage a mindset that lives are not important; peoples lives hanging in the balance is sport. All these things are protected by the constitution.
    A man is made to feel uncomfortable and hurt by the people in his life because he chooses a lifestyle that goes against THE WORD OF GOD. I will pray for a healing for you. I will pray GOD will take mercy on you for your threatening and demeaning nature toward HIS WORD; all for the sake of attention. You need to read what the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY had to say, and what HE did about Sodom and Gomorrah. Again, I will pray for mercy. Have a Blessed Day!
    You chose your lifestyle of sin. Why should others suffer because you feel guilty for your lifestyle? What's next? There are better things to take up a cause for. Win or loose, you will not ease your conscience for your sin. GOD created you with that conscience, and HE can prick that conscience all HE wants. Maybe you should feel blessed that the LORD cares enough about you to work on your conscience. "GOD IS MERCIFUL AND JUST TO FORGIVE US OUR SINS."

    I have been in the trap of Bi-sexuality and Praise be to God for showing it to me thru His Word.
    Thru HIM I was able to change and come to repentance. I do not however condemn this man - But as the word says: John 12:47 - the very word of God will judge him. You cannot change the Word of God to suit yourself that in itself is a sin!
    Let us remember that no sin is different from any other in the eyes of God - We all are/ have been entangled in some sin.
    It is ridiculous to try and sue the publishers - why not sue your family members for treating you this way, then you can sue the publishers again for printing that it is a sin not to be obedient to your parents!
    (Eph 5:11 NIV) Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
    Catch a wake-up-call, James 1:22-29 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. But do what it says.
    If it says that for one man to lay with another is sin, then it is SIN (sue me if you like – but don’t you dare blame God for your misdeeds. That is blaspheming in the highest degree!)
    I say this out of LOVE, because love always hope and always trusts and is not self seeking. My prayer for you is to realize the glorious riches that comes with obedience to Christ Jesus and by holding to his teaching you are really his disciple(Christian), then you will know the truth and the truth will set you FREE
