Congressman: Copyright not made to "pad wallets" of creators

arstechnica.com — Rep. Howard Berman, one of the most powerful copyright voices in Congress, talked last night about his commitment to fair use and the public good, saying that copyright doesn't exist to pad the wallets of creators. But he still plans to push the PRO-IP Act through this year.
