- inactive, on 09/21/2008, -1/+10Well you get a B+, Tonto. What Congress must do is to impeach these bastards first so they can be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for their manifold crimes.
- inactive, on 09/21/2008, -2/+9Anything to get rid of them, and then to get rid of the trash in Congress......
- jeremyopio, on 09/21/2008, -4/+11This is really true, if there was ever a big enough reason to impeach, other than the mile long list of other impeachable offenses, not limited to but including, forcing an aggressive war Killing over a million people, hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians and thousands of American lives. This issue actually effects people, may it will give them a reason to care. These guys have needed to go for so long, it's about time congress gets the balls to do it!
- gmdmartyr, on 09/21/2008, -1/+6Congress is a failure, too! Wake up, Idiots!
I get sick of this Dems vs Rep. crap.
HELLOOOOOO! It's both party's! Congress just come back from a 6 week vacation and is now talking on leaving Sept 26th until after Thanksgiving. Pelosi and her ilk are shuffling along until then. I image they (Congress) will give Bush 600 trillion of our money before they leave again! They don't want to be in DC when the masses become unruly, as the economy/dollar crashes. All these band-aids in billions? Give me a break! - inactive, on 09/21/2008, -0/+4@acudoc - If you type a 27 line paragraph with no breaks and run-on sentences, no-one will read it, even if the content is good.
- ThinkOutTheBox, on 09/21/2008, -0/+4I don't know about you, but we need to get rid of the NEA. Me and this guy were talking yesterday, in fact the guy is 72 and it might seem like he's old but 72 is not really that old. Back on topic and I was like you know we need to get rid of the NEA and he agreed. He made a good point. How do we expect our children to get any smarter when the people teaching them have gone through the same education system?
No offense to teachers which it probably will, but it's almost like the blind leading the blind.
And again the damn democrats blaming everything on the damn republicans while they were sitting back getting just as rich. - inactive, on 09/21/2008, -1/+4I am losing any hope that the Congress will ever do anything besides get themselves re-elected.
Andrew Bacevich says that there are two political parties in Congress: the Incumbents and the Outsiders.
The Incumbents like the Washington scene just as it is. They are not going to rock the boat. Those that do, get marginalized and die politically.
The Outsiders (Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich) are less than 5% of Congress. The get very little press and cannot accomplish anything
We are *****. My advise is move to Brazil - akhomestead, on 09/21/2008, -1/+4If you take the blinders off and really look at history over the past 20 or so years, there's a real strong case they are working together behind the scenes.
- inactive, on 09/21/2008, -3/+5I want to see their headless bodies spewing the filth of their black souls onto the ground after they are executed for high treason. That is as graphic a description I can make it.
- gmdmartyr, on 09/22/2008, -0/+2So true! Thanks for that scripture.
- inactive, on 09/21/2008, -0/+2Impeaching Bush or Clinton or Bush before him or the next guy wont fix any problems. The real problem is the Federal Reserve and that's neither federal or does it have a reserve. This is a private criminal group controlling American from behind the scenes. Nothing can ever be fixed or changed until these fundamental problem are addressed first. JFK with executive order 00001 was headed in the right direction until that little accident in Dallas. As far as I know that was the last time the Fed was questioned by anyone in high office.
Destroy the Feds and take back our country, oh ya throw most everyone else out on their asses. - quesi, on 09/21/2008, -0/+1The content was good.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTdAkhd6Dcw - Jimmyb207, on 09/23/2008, -0/+1Yes, Congress must demand that Bush and Cheney resign. But in order for that to happen WE must demand Congress to grow a set of balls first. I've been watching Congress give all their power to the Executive branch of U.S. government for the last 8 years. Watching them ALLOW Bush to pave the road to Fascism. ALLOW Bush to rape the constitution and our civil liberties. ALLOW Bush to start an illegal preemptive war.....I could go on and on, But i've been getting tired of making myself sick with anger lately. ( as soon as I typed the word "fascism" my comment box started going nuts, big small big small)

I'm looking for the appropriate word,
it may be beyond comprehension, needing invention ! - Unicorny, on 09/22/2008, -0/+1This crisis started with deregulation in the Clinton administration. Both parties have bent over to please their corporate masters.. I'll be voting for Ralph Nader who has been warning about this exact problem for the past 10 years. Also, he is the only candidate with a plan that is fair and workable.
http://votenader.org - akhomestead, on 09/21/2008, -1/+2As much as I agree bush sucks and needs to be impeached, this one, congress needs to ask the Federal Reserve to resign, they are the true masters of this ***** storm we're going thru.
- inactive, on 09/21/2008, -0/+1The shamelessness displayed over the decades
is so mind boggling and blatantly incomprehensible !

- eldudereno, on 09/21/2008, -0/+1I had one really good civics teacher and one incredibly bad civics teacher and you know what 90% of my time was with the bad one i regret to say, i just cant understand how these bad teachers get their jobs. this is 70s and 80s Britain by the way and i don't know weather things have changed but getting good grades now days seems to be a piece of cake compared to when i was at school and these guys and girls are as dim as *****.
Sorry for the bad language I'm just feeling a bit mad. - acudoc, on 09/21/2008, -5/+5The financial mess is NOT because of deregulation. Rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic is not going to save us. The problem is much deeper: our money is dishonest at its very core. It is created by the assumption of debt instruments, and only by such assumption. The Federal Reserve System of banks, a private cartel, was empowered by the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 to create legal tender as credit and currency whenever someone assumes a debt. When the Federal government sells T bills to the Federal Reserve System, thus indebting the American taxpayer to a banking elite, a check is drawn up by the Federal Reserve Bank and made out to the United States Treasury. This check is covered BY NOTHING. The Federal Reserve Bank makes the money ex nihlo by indebting the American populace----and for that privilege we pay them interest! Talk about dumb sheep. We are the dumbest! Other banks in this system accept the checks written by the Treasury for various government expenditures, and they are allowed to create new money and credit in the form of cash reserves and checking accounts up to about 90% of the value of the government's deposits. This newly-created money is lent out to the populace at the very instant that some schmuck goes into a bank for a loan and signs on the dotted line, inducing more debt, so that today, Americans owe this banking structure some $50 trillion dollars via this debt-creating process. The interest stream on this massive debt flows to the owners of these banks, and the ownership remains ultimately a closely-held secret as the system cannot be audited by Congress. How do you spell sheep? S-H-E-E-P. This is how Congress runs deficits, pays for nonsensical wars that benefit the military-industrial-financial-congressional complex, promises all kinds of entitlement programs for votes, and thereby ruins the purchasing power of the dollar, making prices go up and forcing all of us to work harder as labor costs rise along with all the other factors of production. The result is a massive transfer of jobs to foreign companies and of wealth to the financially connected. It is not capitalism that needs to be regulated, capitalism produces the goods----IT IS THE MONEY CREATING MECHANISM, but not one in five hundred thirty-five Senators and Representatives even understands this, not one political candidate groks this---I take that back, Ron Paul understood, but the people, urged on by political hacks and the bought-and-paid-for media, minimized him beautifully. How do you spell sheep? S-H-E-E-P. It's too late, you're on the platform leading to the trains going to the slaughter house. Oh yeah, be sure and send your children willingly, like Sarah Palin, into the latest meat-grinder war, while these fat financiers slobber over their dinners as your offspring bleed out on some desert in the Middle East.
- inactive, on 09/21/2008, -2/+2Who actually thinks Pelosi, Reid, Kerry or Obama
has, will or intends to uphold Americas Life or Liberty?
Who actually thinks that laws written means anything
to those who despise your unalienable Constitutional rights,
believing them to be given or taken as caesar wishes !
Who are we: 2 Timothy 3 - inactive, on 09/21/2008, -3/+2Here's a radical idea. Why don't you just wait for the election?
- paiute8, on 09/21/2008, -3/+1To make statement like this I need to see the proof cause the feds dont or they would arrest bush and cheney for fraud but they are not doing that Or at least some kind of invetigation
- quesi, on 09/21/2008, -5/+3i cant digg the article or sign their petition. its a partisan diversion
yeah, the Clintons and Bushes arent working together... what a laugh - inactive, on 09/21/2008, -11/+7That is not how this country works. Congress cannot just "demand" that the president resign. I blame it on the public schools. They no longer teach civics.
