City unveils carbon tax plan

oregonlive.com — CHICAGO -- In a bold move to curb the growth of greenhouse gas emissions from the Portland area, city officials plan to charge builders hundreds of dollars for each new home that is not extremely energy efficient. And it would require, as part of every existing home sale, that an energy efficiency report be done by home inspectors.

I was thinking of moving away from this Socialistic cesspool called California and that Jackass Gray Davis imposter, the Terminator , and going far away from all this carbon tax bull crap & live up in the beautiful NW. Now I won't be moving to any of the cities in this list who are trying to be more "green." I HATE PEOPLE that jump on the green bandwagon; why? Why didn't you conserve for the last 20 years???

    More proof Global Warming crap is only another way to take more of your money with carbon taxes. What is wrong with you people for supporting these jackasses???
