- theNazz, on 10/10/2007, -4/+59What he meant is that everybody will be happy when G.W. Bush is on his deathbed.
- AnaHadWolves, on 10/10/2007, -8/+52Gerry Ford may have been intellectually challenged, but, he was basically a good man who tried hard to do what was best for America.
George W. Bush has been a loser as a human being since childhood and has always done what is easiest, shallowest, most expedient and that serves HIM best.
That's a big freakin' difference and probably why most people recognize that Barbara Bush's most gifted child was Millie The Dog. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -10/+51Sure, the yes-men he surrounds himself with will be nice and tell him he was a good president right before he dies. Then after he croaks, the world will celebrate. WORST PRESIDENT EVER.
- SheilaNoya, on 10/10/2007, -5/+34I know this may not sound proper for a grandmother to say, but I don't care what happens on Bush's "deathbed". I'm just waiting to squat and piss on his grave.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+23I refuse to comment because I don't wanna end up on the 'no fly' list or the 'terror watch' list. Thanks.
- piratearggghhh, on 10/10/2007, -2/+20...by those who got rich from the war.
- toddcat, on 10/10/2007, -10/+27I knew Gerry Ford sir, and W is no Gerry Ford. Really, Bush's dog has even given up on him. It's just embarassing for a supposedly modern country
- seks03, on 10/10/2007, -4/+20Your a retard, the majority say Bush is horrible in this country, hence the low approval rating. The only ones that say Clinton was bad are the neocons, Stop assuming and read the facts before you write ***** like this.
Clinton 1/25-27/97 57% approval
Bush Now 35% approval (I'm sure its lower)

- 5xSTUN, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15The Bush Administration is not only the worst ever, I think it's the worst administration the American political system has the ability to produce. If they were on the White House Lawn smacking live puppies around with golf clubs they could hardly earn more shame.
This is an administration that was shoved into power by a cabal of corporate interests for the sole purpose of starting a war out of which would pour massive, unprecedented profits, hundreds of billions of dollars that we don't have, and that saddle our children, our grandchildren, our great-grandchildren with a crushing, monstrous debt that can do nothing but ultimately bankrupt America.
Eventually, America will be sold off, piece by piece, to repay this massive foreign debt, and in our old age, we will be rewarded for our current indifference in the face of this insanity by being cast out into the streets by our Saudi masters.
That will be Bush's legacy, the dissolution of the United States of America. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+16The 'good' depends on what you think the foreign policy should achieve. If you wanted amicable relationships with more countries, or a better perception of Americans, then Bush has failed miserably.
- iDragonFly, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13I totally disagree with you in regard to 'George W. Bush having been a very good president for his foreign policy'.
But because you laid out your opinion in a studied and civil manner, I have no intention of burying you.
If we are ever to become a healthy society, we need to engage in open and civil discourse - not name calling and character assassinations. - SupermanMJ, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12Bush WILL be remembered fondly on his deathbed, by the people that he and Cheney care about, the rich who got richer on his watch.
- Absinthminded64, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12Oh c'mon! Gitmo is nice this time of year!
- SheilaNoya, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12Turning our former allies against us and creating more terrorism is "good foreign policy"? Oh stop - I'm laughing so hard at your comment that my sides are aching!
- mrASSMAN, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10I just think it's awesome that grandmothers are on digg..
- iDragonFly, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11Agreed.
However, I believe that if Bush were to expire and Cheney became President, you'd see little difference (outside of the swapping of VP for POTUS after his name) because Cheney has been calling the shots over his sock-puppet GWB, all along. - Ramble, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9I wish you were my grandmother.
- skellener, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Innacurate.
- Raian, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11He actually said: "I better remember to fondle Bush on his deathbed."
- johnhummel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8And you get free health care!
- iDragonFly, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10Bush's cronies who reaped obscene wealth and power during his reign will indeed have cause to feel warm and tingling about the nearly-departed.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+11Gerald Ford wasn't intellectually challenged you ignoramus.
- loconet, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7It still boggles my mind that this clown, the worst president in the history of The United States, got "supposedly" elected twice!
- art42, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9Wrong!! Try reading the legend. You picked the lowest "Disapprove" rating.
The lowest approval at the link your provided is 57%.
BTW: Bush is at 25%, there's an article on digg. - SupermanMJ, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Well that's the whole point, on Bush's watch they've started arresting peaceful protestors and listening in on every form of communication they can get their hands on. Not to mention the fact that they imprison people for months and even years on end without warrant and reason, some of which are entirely innocent and later released. So I think your comment, once considered makes the point of Bush being bad itself.
- 0ddity, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9Worst. Administration. Ever.
- FredoBerfil, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Cheney appears to have cerebrovascular dementia.
- synthox, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7I will fondly take to the idea that on his deathbed he wont be ***** the country up anymore.
- Pimptastic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Carter was a pretty bad president. But he became a great Ex-president.
- synthpop, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6will be remembered fondly by Halliburton, Exxon and their shareholders. not so fondly by the families of the dead soldiers.
- mepol, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Ya, on his tombstone it can read "GW - He did a heck of a job"!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Yes, by every CEO in the country. Also, the devil.
- Waiting2awake, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7 Even as a joke, that must make your forefathers weep in their graves. Worse, it is closer to the truth than not.
- Dgen_X, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5hmmm...I do need a vacation
All I will say is...I wouldn't mourn, not for a ***** second, and it almost hurts to think that there is human life out there that isn't worth the time it would take to say "aww...too bad". Hell, I don't even think I would be able to feel for those who loved him as a person, and that's just cold.... - ElwoodHerring, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6That's basically what happened to Stalin.
- smedrick, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Forget an images section...I think Digg needs a dedicated Cheney section.
- dgh1973, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4"""
Cheney attempted to insist that as Vice Presidents have gone, he was more modest because he was not 'angling' for future elected office.
"""
Duh, of course not! Why angle for another job when you can side step having to work for the rest of your natural life by getting filthy rich from war profiteering?
I mean come on, that's just staying ahead of the game if you ask me. If he wants political power after he leaves the white house it won't be hard to buy a team of lobbyists. - 2k3john, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I'd like you better if you went ahead and ***** too while you were there.
- ftbl52, on 10/10/2007, -0/+43 stories about Cheney on the front page at once! That's gotta be a new record.
- skellener, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6We'll be singing "Ding-dong the idiot is dead" !!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4What makes you think Cheney isn't calling all the shots right now? He has TWO MAN-SIZED SAFES in his office. Bush is just the frontman in this cadre of criminals. The only decisions he's interested in making in when to cut the pig and what to have for dessert.
- skellener, on 10/10/2007, -3/+7No doubt...W = "WORST PRESIDENT EVER"
- pikpikcarrotmon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Cheney's been with Bush since the beginning and they're probably close friends. What do you expect him to say, "Boy, George, when you kick the bucket there will be parades all over the world. But not in your honor. Sorry, bud, but you just really suck as a President. Doesn't mean we can't go quail hunting, though!"
- tobdubois, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3i wanna see jcm come back and defend Bush's very good foreign policy. perhaps true if it is better to be feared than loved.
- revjustin2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Must have been living under a rock (or in a yurt) for the past 10 years.
- kickisaacout, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3"And ultimately, Cheney said he 'probably' was done with public service for good."
public service? are you kidding me? since when has the bush administration ever served the public? - 2k3john, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Actually, Cheney's been around longer than that... he ran in the circles of George H. W. Bush when he was pulling crap that's just as bad as what his son's doing now.
- Cyberen, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3"I don't recall that I was the one who sent them to the hospital," Cheney said.
I don't recall. Gee, where have I heard that one before? - tobdubois, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3thank you for your apathy. our system is built on the back of those like you. Bravo!
