Cheney ‘Sees An Opening’ And Wants To Run For President

thinkprogress.org — A New York Sun columnist believes that Cheney "Cheney has taken a look at the Republican presidential field and sees an opening. If Iowa and New Hampshire Republicans start receiving copies of 'Cheney' in their mailboxes, Mr. Cheney’s popularity may yet begin to climb."

We have a president who has shown a complete disregard for constitutional checks and balances and a penchant for signing statements and executive orders. There is already an executive order in place that allows the president the sole authority to impose martial law as he sees fit. All the administration needs is an excuse to make it happen; impose martial law and suspend elections until the general peace is restored.
