- emazur, on 11/16/2008, -0/+8Lots of scary stuff in this article that you hope won't come true, but wouldn't be too surprised if it did. One possible brightside though:
“There will be a revolution in this country,” he said. “It’s not going to come yet, but it’s going to come down the line and we’re going to see a third party and this was the catalyst for it: the takeover of Washington, D. C., in broad daylight by Wall Street in this bloodless coup. And it will happen as conditions continue to worsen.”
Let's just hope this is a pro-freedom revolution, not a Bolshevik style revolution... - JagPop, on 11/16/2008, -0/+4Jeepers.
1) Buy more bullets?
2) Buy gold coins?
3) Buy canned soups?
4) Buy peanut butter?
5) What staples (not staples, funny guy, food) store for a long time?
6) Don't get any new pets
7) Move to the southwest?
I live in the Northeast where we have to deal with winter. I was waiting for Obama to make renewable energy tax credits a good deal plus new technology is coming online fast. Maybe I can't wait any longer. - Striker101, on 11/16/2008, -0/+3Author is wrong about only one thing, we won't last until 2012, not even close. We're already on the Great Slide to the Dark Ages. Enjoy the ride, O irrational ones!

Excellent point - tinyfunkmaster, on 11/14/2008, -1/+4Read Howard Zinn's "A People's History of the United States: 1492-Present." Then you might not be so skeptical. If history indeeds repeats itself then there are discernible patterns. Obviously if this guy called some of the biggest events in recent history he isn't some rookie. Did you read the accolades at the end of the article or just watch the video?
- inactive, on 12/15/2008, -0/+2Howard Zinn is a dishonest communist.
- inactive, on 12/15/2008, -1/+2There's always hope!
Let's make 2010 our 1776! - Libertaire, on 12/15/2008, -0/+1Bring it on says I.
- JagPop, on 11/17/2008, -2/+1Gosh, this empty-nester left off an important consideration for some people:
Forgo having additional children for the next few years. - shootdashit, on 11/13/2008, -4/+2mr change will hopefully do something about that bailout bill that's helping move this along. and he needs to invesigate paulson and this bailout. they're all destroying this country. i hope obama is as true as he appears to be.
- Asado, on 11/13/2008, -5/+0Quick! Buy a Tent!
- regression, on 11/13/2008, -6/+1Mind you, I have no idea who this guy is. I have a few questions though. How many of his predictions have not come true? How many of his predictions have come true? Which total is greater, and by how much?
