- MakanGuru, on 11/13/2009, -11/+227comeback from what?
governor of alaska? lol - hormel, on 11/13/2009, -7/+150Short answer: No.
Long answer: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. - MattBlackCat, on 11/13/2009, -15/+143So attack your opponent while dodging the issue of your own credibility and qualification for the job.
No change there for Sarah ' I can see Russia from my window' Palin - JoeyFarah, on 11/13/2009, -13/+140From what? How does one make a comeback from "quiting" over and over in life?
- DevilToo, on 11/13/2009, -21/+137She seems like she is mentally unstable and well... a liar.
- Kungfumantis239, on 11/13/2009, -6/+101No. Stop giving her attention.
DON'T FEED THE TROLLS. - UTSC, on 11/13/2009, -5/+95The fact that she is even recognized as a politician is depressing
- Kaiosama, on 11/13/2009, -6/+92The people elected her to do a job and she quit on them.
And we're supposed to elect this woman as president one day?? - Hayley3AM, on 11/13/2009, -12/+93if only to get Tina Fey back on SNL...
- elemenopeequeue, on 11/13/2009, -6/+81"Ms. Palin remains highly popular among Republicans (69% favorable)"
Republicans... seriously...WTF?!?!? - RachelJTM, on 11/13/2009, -5/+75i'd love to see her run against obama. that would be a slaughter.
- homercles337, on 11/13/2009, -7/+46Im sorry to break this to you, but only 22% of Americas are mentally retarded. This means "no [Palin] comeback for you!"
- homercles337, on 11/13/2009, -6/+45I hope she does too, but solely for the comedic material.
- elemenopeequeue, on 11/13/2009, -5/+41comeback from being an asshat laughing stock.
- sugarazor, on 11/13/2009, -6/+41She was governor of Alaska for a little over two years and quit before she even finished her first term. She claims she could handle Vladimir Putin, but can't even handle the 19-year-old hillbilly that knocked up her daughter. Yeah, real qualified.
- pintomp3, on 11/13/2009, -6/+41Other than seeing Russia from her house, wasting money on sports complexes while Wasilla turns into Alaska's meth capital, and forcing rape victims to pay for their own rape kits, what are her qualifications?
- hokie47, on 11/13/2009, -3/+37She has my vote. I want to try to destroy this country, because I want to live out my post apocalyptic movie fantasy. I would create an army of misguided and impressionable young men. Naturally I would have Kevin Costner on my side. We would deliver mail and give hope to the world.
- ldkronos, on 11/13/2009, -0/+30Here's another poll stat I liked from the article:
"In last month's Gallup poll, Ms. Palin had a 48% unfavorable and 41% favorable rating among independents. Not good, but not insurmountable. Flip those percentages, and they could be serving moose burgers in the White House in 2013."
Flip them? Just flip them? Based on what, exactly. If we are going to just make arbitrary comments based on flipping poll numbers for no explainable reason then: "Flip those numbers, and George W Bush could perhaps be the most liked president ever". - JDoorjam, on 11/13/2009, -5/+33Palin is going to try very hard to further this narrative of a "comeback," when in reality she has managed to stay pretty forward in the public consciousness since the '08 election.
Palin would have to actually _go away_ in order to _come back,_ and unfortunately I don't see that happening any time soon. - Howitzer86, on 11/13/2009, -7/+35I was dead serious (frankness is the opposite of sarcasm). I hate to explain what I said but here goes: Palin wins 2012 Republican nomination, Republicans loose by a landslide.
I don't like Democrats either... at least our selection of Democratic leaders. But it seems when ever we vote, we're not voting for who's best, but for who's the least likely to ***** us up. A Palin nomination would make that choice very easy for a lot of people. - bigbadgoat, on 11/13/2009, -0/+26Pretty sure Saddam was executed, and actually isn't a natural born US citizen. Someone tells me though if they dug up his corpse, Weekend at Bernie'd his ass, and put him on the ballot for the republicans in 2012, he'd still get more votes than Palin would.
//Canadian - FormerBabby, on 11/13/2009, -8/+34Palin = American Borat.
- rushiku, on 11/13/2009, -1/+27The other choice was: A Dead Opossum, and they say polls can be misleading.
- oldhick, on 11/13/2009, -5/+29You left off the /s.
- SuperGodAwesome, on 11/13/2009, -6/+30No, please no. Seriously, no.
- Howitzer86, on 11/13/2009, -19/+43Frankly, I wish her the best, and I even hope she gets nominated in 2012. =D
- WasabiBomb, on 11/13/2009, -8/+31Please, please, PLEASE run her for President in 2012. It's the best gift Palin could give to the Democrats.
- atchon, on 11/13/2009, -5/+28I am astonished people still harp on the Hussein bit. Congratulations his name is arabic we all know. If you want to have a serious debate on your other points why not drop the childish name calling.
- Alli3388, on 11/13/2009, -1/+22What does that even mean?? Seriously.
- ivanmarsh, on 11/13/2009, -3/+22Funny thing is even we left-wing , commie, liberal, perverts know that... it would be nice to have an actual real-life conservative party in this country once again. As long as people like Palin, Limbaugh and O'Riely are around it's never gonna' happen.
- lennynumberone, on 11/13/2009, -8/+26No. Ok, Yes one would hope she could come back. The GOP is doing it's best to keep her on the book tour, clean up her image, so she has something besides the hope of coming back and haunting them politically. Even the Fox is piling on top of her every chance they get.
Can they polish her up before the 2012 elections? That's obviously been decidedly answered, and it's no. If you've been paying attention that is.
Care to expand on your non-thought-out "Yes"? - IHaveIssues, on 11/13/2009, -0/+18You're not a very good troll. You try too hard. Log out, register a new name and try again.
- seroevo, on 11/13/2009, -6/+23Wow, Palin -on- Oprah. Is there possibly anything else that is more worthless yet as influential on millions of cult-like followers?
You know, outside of Fox News. - thcobbs, on 11/13/2009, -3/+20At least she's smart enough to quit what she can't do....
- joshmoney, on 11/13/2009, -0/+17Yea I don't think people want ... shut the ***** up mark! ***** you for continuing the spread of racial fear and hatred by referring to the president as HUSSEIN. There's only one reason your ilk refer to him as that and it's quite obvious that you're pandering to the prejudiced fears of already bigoted Americans. If you have any relevant arguments other than ad-hominem red herrings I would love to listen but until then please kindly shut the ***** up!
/Sorry, I don't normally yell at third graders like this. - cCPanda, on 11/13/2009, -6/+22 Clearly they are talking about the Miss Alaska beauty pageant because that's the only thing she may have been a viable candidate for in her life.
- fishbeef33, on 11/13/2009, -0/+16At first I thought, "sarcasm?" Then I went to your profile to see your comment history and realized that you started your account 20 minutes ago. Then I realized: ah, a troll. Enjoy the next hour or so of this account before you get banned again and have to make another new account. Such a sad life.
- Mujokan, on 11/13/2009, -5/+21No way she'll go back into running for office. Not enough cash, too many ethics complaints, as president of the USA or of the PTA. The attack ads would be devastating. There's just no upside for her in trying to get elected for anything again.
Not that she'll be going away, though. Wouldn't be surprised to see her on Fox News, in a year or two. - mksmothers, on 11/13/2009, -6/+22Please come back, please! Palin running against Obama would be comedy gold!
- Mclarenf1905, on 11/13/2009, -6/+22yes, lets elect someone who could not even handle the pressure of being Gov of Alaska as our president.
- Hetman, on 11/13/2009, -4/+19In the porn industry. I highly doubt that is what she is aiming for though. If it worked for screetch it has to work for her.
- satirenine, on 11/13/2009, -4/+17She would fail so badly that we would both avoid more madness and get plenty of comedy material.
Also, she'd help to divide the Republican party. It would be great if the crazies barched off into a Conservative party or something because a rational Republican party would improve the dialogue in congress and hopefully make the US more stable. - berational, on 11/13/2009, -2/+14How about education, Harvard Law or university of Idaho. College isn't everything, but it took her 5 colleges and 6 years to get a bachelors degree.

Would you want someone like that presiding of the biggest financial collapse of our lifetime.
I could literally come up with 100 people in my community I would rather have for President or VP than her.
Sorry p51d007, but I have a really hard time believing you really feel the way your comment states. I think you are talking the talk now, but given the choice between her and almost anyone else you would not actually choose her. - Blinker1315, on 11/13/2009, -12/+24I'm no fan of Obama's policies, nor his kow-towing to Pelosi and Reid. But Sarah Palin? Please. It's a cliche by now, when someone has gained notoriety for so little, but she's far more similar to a famous reality tv show star than serious politician. I'd never vote for her, and I haven't voted for a Democrat since Jerry Brown ran in the MD primary against Carter in '76. If, by some chance Palin gets nominated I'll stay home or go third party. John Thune of South Dakota is a very good candidate for the GOP, and though Tim Pawlenty has about as much charisma as a New York Times editorial writer, I'd vote for him too. But Palin's a bad joke.
- inajeep, on 11/13/2009, -1/+13You so funny. We are still digging ourselves out of the hole that the last 8 years has gotten us into.
- kingmanic, on 11/13/2009, -1/+12I know you are a REAL conservative at heart but the GOP is so far away from REAL conservatism you might as well support an independent candidate. The GOP respects your convictions and point of view as much as they'd support a half black half Chinese homosexual socialist athiest who makes less than 30k a year. I think intelligent conservatives like you need to push it for change. right now BOTH parties are rife with graft and lobbyists and both parties have nearly the same over all agenda while each one has different pet projects.
- Fygee, on 11/13/2009, -6/+17Make the bad woman go away!
- rushiku, on 11/13/2009, -3/+14Holy Crap! That low flying reference to Obama wiping the floor with Palin nearly took your head off!
- OafBoaster, on 11/13/2009, -0/+11Yeah that was dumb man, way too obvious... like MAD TV.
- ParticleMan420, on 11/13/2009, -3/+13@ajkrik - so you're saying that obama isnt qualified because he quit his job early (to be the newly elected president) but pallin is qualified because she quit early to do speaking gigs, talk shows, and to avoid corruption charges?
yea, we're the stupid ones. -
