- Striker101, on 09/20/2008, -0/+26We certainly all wish there were a viable alternative to the McBama's; watch the two of them both stumbling over the ongoing economic collapse issue, picking on one another, and watch both of them vote to steal yet another trillion dollars from you and me, to supposedly ease the pain which the both of them permitted in congress by not stopping Fed manipulation that caused the so-called housing crisis, which was really just another political crisis. I wish ANYBODY could beat that motley pair, either of whom will make things worth. Now that's assuming we survive until election.

VOTE THIRD PARTY!
Baldwin for me!
http://www.constitutionparty.com/ba_stats.php - kerston, on 09/20/2008, -0/+21I believe Chuck is worth it. He is the closest thing we have to Ron Paul. I heard he would make RP his secretary of treasury. Smart move! he also seems to be the most well spoken of the 3rd party candidates and we need to seriuosly try to save this country from the republicrats. He should fill his cabinet with the other 3rd party candidates. Let's make a deal! God bless America!
- itsmesunny, on 09/20/2008, -1/+20yup, he's the closest to the doc allright!
vote chuck baldwin for president! - inactive, on 09/20/2008, -0/+19The second politician in my life that I have donated to. Both were worthy so it's money well spent.

14 States where Baldwin is not on the ballot.
You can digg me down all you want, it will not change the fact that in 14 states he is not on the ballot. - inactive, on 09/20/2008, -1/+13I've never dugg you down cashman, but I disagree with you.
Your splitting hair's. You can vote for Baldwin on all but three. - coopkabob, on 09/21/2008, -0/+11THATS RIGHT ! a write in for chuck does count! its not about winning anyways its about showing the country that both obamma and mcain were sucky choices and we choose to vote for someone we believe in! this is not a football game we are betting on, this is a revotionary statement. cashman stop lying !
- inactive, on 09/20/2008, -1/+12Barr is the least of three evils. No thanks. I'll send my fiat currency where I feel it should go. I will never again vote based on what is _realistic_ versus what I know to be the right thing to do. The fact that NC doesn't have him on the ballot means I'm sending money to a man I can't even vote for without writing him in.

Chuck Baldwin on the Alex Jones Show part 2:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP3RsacOxC8&feature ... - inactive, on 09/20/2008, -1/+11cashman.."14 states without Baldwin on the ballot means 14 states which will not count". This is misleading information cashman.
We have a chance to vote for a man that reflects Ron Paul's value's and principal's campaigned for Ron Paul, refused to run against Ron Paul and who Ron Paul has alway's made a point to mention " Chuck Baldwin has worked very hard for our campaign" Ron Paul. - inactive, on 09/20/2008, -2/+11PA. NC and OK. are the only ones. Baldwin Ballot access:
http://www.constitutionparty.com/ba_stats.php - coopkabob, on 09/21/2008, -0/+9THAT VIDEO ROCKS! I LOVE IT!
- inactive, on 09/20/2008, -0/+9If the name does not appear on the ballot he is not on the ballot.
- inactive, on 09/21/2008, -0/+7brightlight4: If the US makes countries around them poor, then how do you explain Canada? A country with one of the highest standards of living in the world. Stupid leftard.
- libr3volution, on 09/21/2008, -2/+8Better Baldwin than McBama! But I have a problem with him! The Constitutional party is a very religious party! Read the preamble to their platform. I don't trust the CP to respect separation of Church and State. Bob Barr for me!
- inactive, on 09/20/2008, -0/+6Is that the only place to see the donation amounts???? There's no damn way I've donated 25% of the total with as little as I donated.........geez.........everyone wants freedom and liberty yet we're just not willing to sacrifice for it.
At least I won't have to worry about retirement. This country will be gone long before then. - inactive, on 09/21/2008, -0/+6The question I have is: will he BE on the ballet in those 14 states? If not, why not? What will it take? And if not on the ballot in 14 states, how are the people in those states going to vote for him? Do they write him in and then it would count?
And how can anyone win an election when your not on the ballot in 14 states? I think that may be impossible, you think?
I am a little in the dark on these issues here. Thanks. - inactive, on 09/21/2008, -2/+7I would be more concerned about the Man than the party, Look what Bush has done to the Republican platform.
Voting for one with principal's doesn't scare me in the least. - tkubic46, on 09/21/2008, -1/+5Go Chuck Go!!!! Liberty, Peace, Prosperity!!!! Constitution Revolution!!!! Restore the Republic!!!!!!!
- irisheyes1169, on 09/21/2008, -0/+4Can someone tell me if Baldwin isn't on the ballot in my state, does that mean if I vote for him, by writing in his name, technically I'd be throwing my vote away? I cant find a definitive answer for this question and would appreciate an help. (I've never seriously considered a 3rd party before this election so I'm not sure what this means.)
- inactive, on 09/21/2008, -1/+5I hate to be the one to inform you of this, but our nation was founded by Christan men - especially George Washington. They respected separation of church and state. http://earlychristianamerica.com/blog/
- irisheyes1169, on 09/21/2008, -0/+3How does the US make countries around them poor? Mexico is only poor because it only has 2 classes of people; the small number of filthy rich(in power) and the massive amounts who are dirt poor. Don't try to blame that on the US, we don't dictate Mexico's policies, Mexico does that. It could be argued however, that Mexico is making US poor, as they send huge numbers of its poor here to feed off the US taxpayers. Do you have any idea the cost of just Illegal Aliens alone? Most Americans don't give a damn what Mexico or South American countries think of us, they have only themselves to blame for the fate of their countries. Maybe its you who should read your history.
- inactive, on 09/20/2008, -3/+6I appreciate his views and even agree with most of what he says but to be realistic the only third party with a chance at electing a president id the Libertarian.
14 states without Baldwin on the ballot means 14 states which will not count.
You cannot win an election while giving up 14 states.
There will be three parties with a ballot access that is nationwide, Dem. Rep., and Libertarian.
http://www.lp.org - Kangalanatolian, on 09/22/2008, -0/+3I still maintain that we can grab the media spotlight if ALL Independent candidates switch their VP choice to Ron Paul. Then we do the money bomb friendly competition, with the understanding that WHOEVER wins will act on the 4 key points of agreement before attempting to do anything else. The money bomb should be weighted for number of supporters, as well as the amount of money raised.
The people are dying for entertainment. Let's give it to em. And what the heck...maybe they might even let us have the constitution back while we are at it.
Baldwin/Paul, Barr/Paul, McKinney/Paul, Nader/Paul, McEnulty/Paul, Bowman/Paul. I am not sure if Nader, Barr, or Baldwin would take it, but regardless, they would all have a stake in seeing that the ultimate nominee wins the presidency. - jana67, on 10/09/2008, -0/+2http://www.squidoo.com/chuckbaldwin08
- Kent4jmj, on 09/21/2008, -2/+4It was a Reigious people that gave us the Constitution to begin with!!! The best darned form of Government the world has ever SEEN!
Baldwin is a Constitutionalist. - dpc2376, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1Write-in for Chuck Baldwin - Go to Chuck Baldwin's election website and under About and then click Ballot Access Status. That will give you the states that are he is on the ballot on and those he is a write-in candidate for. http://www.constitutionparty.com/ba_stats.php
- blakmira, on 09/21/2008, -0/+1So what's up with the negative 6 diggs? Just because I'm not 100% behind a candidate? Can't I ask valid questions? I have problems with 2 of his issues and list valid alternative solutions but no one has anything to respond.
Since Ron Paul is no longer available, I can't just blindly vote for a third party candidate and there are really slim pickings here so I'm trying to decide.
What makes Baldwin better than Nader or vice versa? Is it just another less of 2 evils? Those are my 2 choices. (Barr and McKinney are not an option for me) - stienster, on 09/20/2008, -1/+2man don't post that kind of stuff on digg. It's dangerous to everyone.
- inactive, on 09/22/2008, -2/+3Baldwin is a legit write in http://www.constitutionparty.com/ba_stats.php
- Kent4jmj, on 09/22/2008, -1/+2I believe a mail in ballot is counted.
- irisheyes1169, on 09/22/2008, -1/+1Thank you blakmira, for taking the time to put to rest this nagging question. I'll defiantly consider that option.
:) - blakmira, on 09/21/2008, -2/+1Technically, yes. Your vote will be thrown away.
Here is an article by Sandra Hamilton about her suggestion to Vote Fourth Party:
"I am suggesting voting as a write-in PRECISELY because it will not be counted. This holds true especially in the states that throw those votes in the trash. By taking this action, we expose the sham that is a supposedly democratic society. We force the state to take a notably undemocratic action: throwing a vote in the trash."
I'd suggest your best chance is voting for whatever Third Party is available on your state's ballots. Or if you're going to write in, why not write in Ron Paul? (Hey, no third party is going to win anyway -- it's more of a protest vote against the 2-party system) - brightlight4, on 09/21/2008, -4/+1So first of all the US makes the countries around them poor, then they stop the illegal immigrants from coming into their country to try to make a living and keep their families alive. Then they wonder why people in Venezuela and Bolivia vote for Presidents who are anti US!!! PLEASE READ YOUR HISTORY FIRST THEN TAKE ACTION!!! You cannot keep the starving masses you created from wanting to eat that is downright unethical and anti human rights and just plain criminal!!
- blakmira, on 09/21/2008, -7/+3I just read his article "If I were President" and the majority of it sounded really good (views on the war, China, adhering to the Constitution, etc.) but I think a couple of his views are extremely unrealistic.
1. Immediately sealing the borders and sending employers to prison for hiring illegals.
Aren't the prisons overcrowded enough from the War on Drugs? Do we really need to create even more new punishable crimes? We'd have to build even more prisons.
And how are you going to "seal" the borders? Put up a Berlin Wall? Perhaps he should watch the movie "The Border" -- a fictional account but it shows the massive corruption and underground operations involved.
Repealing all welfare, food stamps, health care and government benefits to illegals would be the answer, and imposing high fines on employers that would not make it worth their while to hire "cheap labor."
2. He would immediately make all abortions illegal.
This is unrealistic thinking. The government should not be involved with the funding or legality of abortions in any way. Instead, it should be left up to each state whether it remains legal or not. Otherwise, this would create an avalanche of trashcan babies and "coat hanger/backroom" death from abortions by desperate women. Whether you believe an abortion is murder or not, the reality remains that this is the effect a total criminal ban would produce for both the babies and the pregnant women.
What is Digg?
