- otheruser, on 10/11/2007, -18/+2773613 dead, brave U.S. men and women, all because "that motherf*cker tried to take out my dad"?
*****... - toddcat, on 10/11/2007, -12/+136...and 600,000 Iraqis, Turkey on the verge of invading Kurdistan, Iran fully riled up, Pakistan run by a military dictator who we counted on to help us find Bin Laden.....Israel furthering their oppression of Palestinians. Heck of a job Bushie.
- ziffel, on 10/11/2007, -7/+79Avenging his father was not the only reason. There's oil, Haliburton contracts, permanent Middle Eastern military bases, a nice launching pad into Syria and Iran ... need i go on? Plenty of good reasons to sacrifice 3600 American soldiers /sarcasm
- WTFnub, on 10/11/2007, -11/+83saddam got hanged. when is bushes turn?
- iceman0113, on 10/11/2007, -9/+56Well, now there's 3,000+ children pointing to Bush and saying, "That ***** killed my dad."
- mikelieman, on 10/11/2007, -12/+47Bush is, of course, a barely functional moron.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -8/+42Not that it doesn't seem like he would say this, but where's the ***** source?
Oh, I heard from this guy, who was a senator that heard Bush said this. Gimme a break. - np374, on 10/11/2007, -12/+44[talking about invading Iraq]
Black Bush: But if I can be real bout it...
Some Black dude: Be Real Son!
Black Bush: Real?
Some Black Dude: Be Real Real!
Black Bush: ....He Tried to kill ma father man, and I don't play dat *****.
Some Black Dude: Say word he tried to kill your father.
Black Bush: THAT ***** TRIED TO KILL MY FATHER!!! - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -14/+44I never realized that Bush and Saddam had a homosexual relationship.
- tinselt0wn, on 10/11/2007, -8/+36cue up Chappelle's Black Bush skit
THAT ***** TRIED TO KILL MY FAAAATHER!!! - Insightful, on 10/11/2007, -17/+42Common sense & intelligence is not real popular with you WMD-lover, torture & spy on Americans, must also bomb Iran, 23% approval rating neocon as well.
- stackered, on 10/11/2007, -8/+31if every person followed the "tried to take out my dad mentality," Bush would be hunted down by thousands of Iraqi children
- chroto, on 10/11/2007, -3/+23Actually you forgot Poland
- Alegoo92, on 10/11/2007, -4/+23Yup: that's exactly what he said, digg.
Verbatim. - Nin10dude, on 10/11/2007, -4/+22I dislike Bush as much as the next guy, but, uh, any proof? =/
- Kratisto, on 10/11/2007, -4/+22The FBI has been dispatched to your house. Enjoy your time in 'GitMo'.
- physphd, on 10/11/2007, -6/+20"I knew Billy Clinton became one of the boys, when he bombed Iraq.... He launched twenty-two missiles against Baghdad in retaliation for the alleged assassination attempt on George Bush, which failed. We killed six innocent people launching twenty-two three million-dollar-apiece missiles - um, I think that's overdoing it, if you ask me. I think we should have just embarrassed the Iraqis, and here's how we could have done it: We should have assassinated Bush. Then there would have been no loss of innocent life." --Bill Hicks, 1993
RIP, Bill. "Comedy" hasn't been quite as relevant since you died. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -7/+18I thought that was Black Bush.
- tumoas, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13it must be true, someone said in the radio that his close friend heard it.
i don't like bush, but it's kinda useless to say things like that without any proof. - sarge96, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10It's like talk radio. If there were a demand for a conservative digg, there would be a conservative digg. That is how the free market works, my friend
- craterburnsu, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11Wasn't that exactly what Chappelle said while pretending to be president Bush in season two of Chappelle's Show?
- Gaki, on 10/11/2007, -3/+11Because he thought Daschle was already on board and he could let his guard down a bit? Plenty of Dems voted for the war, Daschle being one of them. I don't think the Dems and the Reps are enemies anywhere near as much as they play up to the public. I'll bet if you dug on money, you'd find that plenty of congressmen and women get money from the SAME corporations, regardless of party affiliation.
- hmmdar, on 10/11/2007, -11/+19would it be so bad if Bush took one in the head?
- deathweaver108, on 10/11/2007, -4/+12Not that I don't believe it... but I'd need to hear a tape.
- Gaki, on 10/11/2007, -4/+11It doesn't help that Bush changed the public justification a half dozen times himself. WMD became Al Quaida became Saddam was a nasty guy, etc.
This particular statement could have also been a joke. We don't know the context and perhaps Daschle took it as a joke that now has more ominous overtones a few years later. - stackered, on 10/11/2007, -11/+17first he blames the war on "trying to take out my country", then "trying to take out my dad", what next.... "trying to take out... my garbage?"
but really, stfu bush - theeEqualizer, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Yeah, that nutjob Bush can't decide why he chose to lie to us and invade Iraq.
So Redneck... conspiracy theories come from nutjobs? OK. Is that ALL conspiracies? What's a conspiracy?
Well, all a conspiracy is, would be more than one person working together in secret to achieve an objective.
So conspiracies aren't real? That's a pretty naive stance to take. Well, really its a dumb stance to take. And the moment you start to smear anyone who brings up the idea of a conspiracy, you help to create the PERFECT environment for conspiracies to take place. As a matter of fact, if everyone can be convinced that all conspiracy theories are the domain of crazies, then those who wish to undertake evil acts have the sky as the limit. They can get away with purely OUTRAGEOUS acts. If those paying attention are branded as crazy, well then you can get away with ANYTHING. Ergo, I refer you to the present administration. But nevermind me, just return to your NASCAR. and your Britney Spears, and your Terror alert level.
This administration applauds your stupid point of view and hopes you convince more people that rational conclusions are crazy. Carry on, Redneck! Make Baby Bush Proud! - Gir9000, on 10/11/2007, -15/+21JFK got shot for less... I really wonder how long it will be before someone takes out Bush. No doubt the killer wont try to hide the fact he did it either. Not endorsing this, but just saying...I really do Wonder.
- Firehed, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Instead, the entire country will be hunted down by thousands of Iraqi adults in ten to fifteen years. This is why people really need to think about their actions long-term.
- whiterussian, on 10/11/2007, -3/+9So when did you enlist?
- blackjack75, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6He's so low in the polls he'd touch the floor with his feet.
- sarge96, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7Are you suggesting Bush has the power of reasoning?
- Frankenfidel, on 10/11/2007, -3/+8Then we'd have Cheney. Have you ever seen a more evil looking *****?
- dechah, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7It would have been very cool if, just before Saddam stepped out onto the gallows, he turned to the camera, and in a breathy voice said, directly to camera, "W...., I am your father!"
- twisterrust, on 10/11/2007, -4/+9OK, screw every one else, righties/lefties/lib/rep/jackass/kickass and every one and please explain to me what was the good reason to invade Iraq?
- blankfaze, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Seriously, though, I'm pretty sure you're going to get a Secret Service visit for that one.
- reddfox321, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Best Chappelle's Show skit EVER!!! First thing I thought when I read the thread title.
- fate3, on 10/11/2007, -2/+640 NATIONS READY TO ROLL SON
Outkast said they were willing to drop bombs over baghdad - Syntaxis, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Look at how fearful you Americans are for just stating that your country would be better off if G. W. Bush were dead.
Freedom.. right.. I feel so sorry for you guys. Once a nation that set the example for the rest of the civilized world. Now.. it's more like 1939 Germany. - cryptoki, on 02/01/2008, -0/+4j suppose that any innocents in the middle east that were killed by our bombs... are now permanent haters of the US. Does that make sense?
does this create more enemies? do my statements hold any philosophical weight? and if they do.. are they terrorists? what do we call those in that situation. Im just asking. - Litespeed, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Depends if they were lined up or not..... :-)
- crazydiode, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5Petro-Dollar
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -2/+5At least he named him, and said that Tom Daschle said it. He's a pretty public figure, so if he didn't say it at least this guy can be discredited.
- benbenbenben, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4uhh didn't we already get Saddam? This article makes it sound like he said this just yesterday or something. He might've said it a few years ago, but who the hell cares? Half the articles on digg could be simply titled "I hate Bush" and it would all be the same. You guys all spend your time trying to find another reason to hate him. Seriously, why don't you take a little bit of that energy and try to make a positive difference in the world?
- iamlutheran, on 10/11/2007, -4/+7Why doesn't this surprise me?
Today I was at a book store and saw a book on the US Constitution that I bought recently. I pointed it out to my wife while a professor of History was standing nearby. I mentioned to my wife that Bush should read this book. The professor laughed and said that he should also get a dictionary because he cannot read or talk properly. LOL We ended up talking for about 30 minutes about American politics. Quite interesting...
Bush and Cheney are a national disgrace IMO. - Wallstreet, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3I hate (insert current President here) . I hate him because (insert current problem here). Some things never change.
- markgl, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4yeah thinkprogressless cracked another mystery.
- Babykitkat, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4False Flag
http://www.911blogger.com/taxonomy/term/833 - gwolf, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5We were all lied to, the congress, the people were deliberately misled by a media supported disinformation campaign. Think about the War of the Worlds radio broadcast panic of Orsen Wells. If credible people tell you martians have landed, many will take it as gospel.
- ChuyMatt, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Um... so i actually read this when it happened. People are just slow to recognize some things.
If you are saying that this did not happen, I can assure you, it did. It scared the crap out of me when it was first reported and just is the beginning of a mound of evidence for what the REAL reasons for this war were.
Just because you never heard of it, does not mean that it did not happen. -
