Your comment has no relevance to any of the statements made by Brokaw and I doubt you really even listened to what he was saying. Also, supposing you were correct in the Iraqi Government being the group at fault for the brutality that was purposefully displayed in order to evoke a response and escalate an already violent situation, you would then need to conclude that all our "efforts" to liberate the Iraqi people were in vain as we disposed one violent leader for another. So...either way your thinking is, well, not really thinking. Blind belief really. Tell Rush and Sean hi, I'm sure they'd be proud you used the word liberal as an expletive.

And he will not become a martyr. Only a VERY tiny part of the country liked him. And NO other countries did. Those who didn't like him were ALREAY fighting us. They are not suddenly going to start now.
Of course, had he been killed by lethal injection, or a more "western" form of execution, the ultra left would have bitched about us not letting the Iraqis do their thing. Same with if we insisted that he not be put to death. You would have whined about us not letting Iraqis have their justice and closure.
