Bolton: I Absolutely Hope The U.S. Will Attack Iran In The Next ‘6 Months'

thinkprogress.org — VIDEO: Yesterday, former CIA operative Bob Baer told Fox News that the Bush administration will likely attack Iran in the coming months. Today, former U.N. ambassador John Bolton appeared on Fox News and responded. He said that while he couldn’t confirm Baer’s statements, he “absolutely” hoped they were true.

    Attacking Iran will prove to be the biggest tactical error ever made by the US. Russia and China have heavily vested interests there. Combined they have military superiority and China alone can tank our economy.

    When this ***** hits the fan, it's going to splatter like you never even dreamed. We let this government get out of control and will soon reap the rewards for doing so. The US has done a complete 180 and turned into the same type of government that our FF bled and died to get away from. Hell, it won't even last as long as Rome did.

    I am at a loss to understand why neocons answer to EVERYTHING lately seems to be war. The only theory I can come up with is that without some kind of major conflict going on, they can't find an excuse to continue to pour our vast wealth as a nation into the military industrial complex Eisenhower warned us of and since the collapse of the Soviet Union, they have to keep finding new reasons to keep a massive war machine going.

Everyone needs to let every redneck at their work understand that this ***** in Iraq is hurting us as a country, and the we are taking our eye off the ***** ball in so many ways when it comes to the safety of the United States.

But we know that many Iranian people don't even agree with their own government much like we don't agree with ours. If the Bush administration does attack Iran and declares martial law and stops the elections in 2008. I hope that the American people will do what is demanded of them by their forefathers.

Defending your country, sure that is brave, too bad we haven't really been defending our country since WW2. Going to Iraq or Iran to die for our corrupt regime doesn't make much sense to me.

    p.s. Perhaps people who would dodge the draft for an unjust war are infinitely more patriotic then those who don't even question it and march off like good little. Doing what you are told at all costs, no matter the reason = very smart.
