Bob Barr is an outspoken opponent of medical marijuana. He was defeated by Rep. John Linder in a Republican primary election in Georgia on August 20. The drug war has ***** on everyone in the United States. When was the last time the patriot act forced your little boy to piss in a cup because he wanted to go to band practice? When is the last time you had to find a new job and give them body fluids. Are police setting up road blocks and checking your papers because of the patroit act? NO! Is the patriot act depriving millions of Americans of due process like the drug war does. Do you know the DEA or your local sheriff without evidence or a trial or a warrant or court order can take everything you own and use it for their personal use and if they sell your properity they can keep the profits. Is the patriot act doing that? NO!
If you want to talk about rights and freedom what is the number one activity stripping us of our liberties today? If you believe in the drug war to believe in the most corrosive policy ever devised against liberty.
