Gathering news from the wing sources like Fox or Air America (as well as the MSM) is, in fact, the only way to guage modern politics. Sites like Drudge and dKos have changed the game and ignoring those oulets only means you'll be less informed about American politics. There is a very good reason the White House and the members of Congress check both of those websites daily.
