The majority of Americans believe that marriage is between a man and a woman only.
The majority of Americans believe homosexual marriage is not a civil rights issue because they do not believe that homosexuality is genetic.
The majority of American believe that homosexuality is chosen, deviant behavior, and so legitimizing it through marriage is wrong.
This is unlikely to change in our lifetime. - lemur, on 11/06/2008, -2/+1Part of the reason why Proposition 8 gained so much support was that its opponents were so violent. This letter isn't helping at all. Way to polarize the vote, huh?
