Al Gore, Your Country Needs You...Endorse Barack Obama. Now!
huffingtonpost.com — It's time. Now. Before February 5th. If you wait, it'll be too late. You've won the popular vote, an Oscar and a Nobel Prize, and now it's time for you to give something back

- Frnnkdlxx, on 01/30/2008, -52/+16Jesus... Ron Paul could sure use an endorsement from the mindless morons with millions of people supporting them right about now.
Seeing people vote for the newbie who won't even reiterate on their positions, rather than the veteran who seems to be the only candidate well versed on the economy saddens me.
You people will never learn.- SimianSamurai, on 01/30/2008, -14/+4nerd

- aliengoods, on 01/30/2008, -9/+23You mean the mindless morons who keep supporting a candidate to the point of being annoying to the rest of the online community, injecting their name on every thread?
- Frnnkdlxx, on 01/30/2008, -8/+8Are you talking about Ron Paul?
Just checking.....- sockpuppets, on 01/30/2008, -4/+15Ron who?

- Frnnkdlxx, on 01/30/2008, -8/+8Are you talking about Ron Paul?
- Fritzed, on 01/30/2008, -4/+12I'm sorry, Did you really just refer to Ron Paul as the only candidate well versed on the economy? That saddens me. . .
http://dandelionsalad.wordpress.com/2007/12/23/noa ...- Frnnkdlxx, on 01/30/2008, -7/+5You could have chosen someone better:
"Here my summary of Mr. Paul’s positions:
- He values property rights, and contracts between people (defended by law enforcement and courts).
Noam Chomsky: Under all circumstances? Suppose someone facing starvation accepts a contract with General Electric that requires him to work 12 hours a day locked into a factory with no health-safety regulations, no security, no benefits, etc. And the person accepts it because the alternative is that his children will starve."
As you can see, Noam Chomsky doesn't even know he lives in America. Let alone clear and explained cause and effect. I seem to remember him being schooled by a loud mouthed nutcase Texan talk show host about gun violence and how it increased when you took the guns away. Noam is either extremely short sighted, or refuses to read all sides of the coin. Either way refutes his credibilty.- cwgannon, on 01/30/2008, -6/+8Yeah. You pretty much just schooled Chomsky there by quoting what he said, saying some stupid ***** about it, and declaring him refuted.
Well done. I half-supported Ron Paul until I realized the ***** nutjobs that were his base. Creepy. - Frnnkdlxx, on 01/30/2008, -3/+3If you don't tihnk Chomsky's half baked b.s., referencing scenarios of potential tyranny and oppression that are impossibilities in a nation that has long fought to give workers rights and decent conditions, then I'd ask why you haven't done more background research into your own countries history. I'd suggest going online and simply scanning through the 1800's-1910.
For me to say that I wish people who were uneducated shouldn't vote would be wrong for many reasons, So I'll just respect your opinion. Speaking of respecting your opinion, I agree with many of your stances on government, although you condescend far too often.
I also have a hard time believing a guy who condescends as much as you do would be on the ropes about anything only to be perturbed about voting for a candidate strictly on that candidates supporters, especially when you've already made supportive statements of Hillary. I'm just having a hard time believing the people who say things like that.
- cwgannon, on 01/30/2008, -6/+8Yeah. You pretty much just schooled Chomsky there by quoting what he said, saying some stupid ***** about it, and declaring him refuted.
- DefendThyself, on 02/01/2008, -1/+1The other candidates freaking frighten me. What is it about Paul you don't like, and what is your answer and who will you vote for?

I said all that without even insulting your candidate. Hell.. I like the guy! He's a great frigging speaker. I got into a trance by him before as well. don't think you're alone. - Frnnkdlxx, on 01/30/2008, -7/+3lol. I don't know what you just said. You sound like another mindless follower willing to defend the person you support to the death without investigating the others. I, for one, took the time to investigate HIllary, Obama, Romney, McCain, and Giuliani, all the frontrunners. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, none of them understand the economy. Take HIllary and Obama, they both support socialized healthcare, when if you 'd notice, (and what RonPaul says over and over), we don't have the money. We are not the superpower we think we are... we're broke.

- rlbond86, on 01/30/2008, -7/+11Well-versed my ass. Ron Paul's knowledge of the economy is limited to "abolish everything, then it will magically go away, and jellybeans will rain from the sky."
- argusbargus, on 01/30/2008, -2/+3Is that why we have this concession:
"Ron Paul won all the debates," stated Rudy Giuliani in his speech conceding defeat in the Florida Primary to John McCain. "Government works best when it empowers people to take responsibilities for their own lives.”
- argusbargus, on 01/30/2008, -2/+3Is that why we have this concession:
- chocolatetacos, on 01/30/2008, -0/+2Most well-versed on the economy? Ha. Mitt Romney founded Bain Capital, which is a spinoff of the #2 management consulting firm in the country, but hey, what does he know about the economy. I'm far from a Romney supporter, but just because Ron Paul talks about monetary policy all the time doesn't mean the other candidates know nothing, nor does it mean he's right.

- chosenone-, on 01/30/2008, -15/+5PEOPLE! Be knowledgeable for what Obama really stands for. He has ties to AIPAC and Israeli interests, he will continue to merge the US Army with Israel and advance *their* causes in the Middle East. Do you want your country to enter into a war with Iran and run covert ops in Pakistan while maintaining an occupation in Afghanistan and Iraq? Google it, research it and come to your own conclusions, but mine is that Obama is no candidate for real change, it's just business as usual.
- poxonyou, on 01/30/2008, -2/+3chosenoone: unfortunately, the same is true with Clinton, but even more so. It's too late for anyone else. The only option is not voting, but for most people who aren't college aged political activists, it does nothing at all to help their situation.
- chosenone-, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1Well you can always throw a vote towards Ron :)
Ultimately you can't repair a failing engine with duct tape, the whole system needs an overhaul. I mean, governments were established to help people pursue their lives, not to dictate on how to live it.... we've gone very astray and because people refuse to accept that there are people who actively seek to keep people herded and in control rather than conscious and informed that makes it so very hard to help those who desperately need it.

- LvsSocer, on 01/30/2008, -0/+8Right now, Gore benefits chiefly from NOT mixing politics with the message he is trying to spread. This is the very reason he didn't want to chance a run for president.
Endorsing anybody would result in Gore losing his credentials for spreading an idea, and cause him to look like a political crony, regardless of the truth in the matter. Bad move for everyone involved.- gummih, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3You may be right - but if he intends to support any candidate in this election - now would be the time

Treat these ***** people with some respect.- MalDON, on 01/30/2008, -0/+7You're right, she's the GOP's ticket to the white house.
- nirav72, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Yup. Hillary gets nominated and Republicans will be staying in the whitehouse. You can bet on that. The republicans have been arming themselves to the teeth anticipating a Hillary run for the whitehouse for years. Its a grudge match with the Clintons that go all the way back to Arkansas.

- MOJIRA, on 05/17/2008, -2/+3Edwards needs to drop out now before Feb 5th because I'm very sure he's carrying a large majority of the anti-Clinton vote which is hurting Obama.
If Edwards drops out and endorses Obama then Obama will CRUSH Clinton. If the former happens AND Gore endorses Obama he will simply be unstoppable and will probably win more superdelegates too (he's already leading in regular delegates).
(Side note: how undemocratic is this theocratic idea of superdelegates... wtf?!)- evan119, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3seems like you and him think along the same lines, he already announced he's dropping out today.

- Spudster, on 01/30/2008, -2/+3It's very stupid politically for Al Gore to endorse either candidate. Al Gore is not interested in American Presidential politics anymore, he is interested in stopping global warming. Any attempt by him to meddle into this campaign will only work against his goal of gathering consensus on global warming,
- BowZzer, on 01/30/2008, -0/+4If Obama wins the nom, Edwards gets the Veep. I'm not super into it, but it'll work -- northern and southern, black and white, youth and experience.
If Hillary wins the nom, she will not win. She'd need to carry like 2/3 of the female vote come November and there are too many moderate-conservative swing voting women in this country that don't like her. Hilalry has too much baggage.
And Gore is just fine making millions where he is. An official endorsement would be nice, but the guy's a mogul now and wuldn't even travel the country in support of any candidate he supported.

Nothing will get done if she's elected, and if you think differently, you are delusional.- Frnnkdlxx, on 01/30/2008, -24/+12How does the GOP hate Hillary when she recieves the most campaign contributions from the Republican establishment? Her and McCain are best friends, as exposed by Bill Clinton. Rudy Giuliani constantly mulls over his love of HIllary. She's recieved more campaign contributions than the republicans from military contractors AND Rupert Murdoch.
I think that you're lie in support of Obama is flawed. Hillary would work just fine. The only problem is, they're all criminals.
Why doesn't Obama support Peace? War in Pakistan? Member of the Council on Foreign Relations? HENRY KISSINGER A CABINET MEMBER! We've got some explaining to do.- carbog, on 01/30/2008, -4/+51) The republicans want Hillary because they know they don't have a chance against Obama.
2) "Why doesn't Obama support Peace" - I don't even know what that means, I think almost everyone supports peace.
3) "War in Pakistan" - OK Mr. Hyperbole, I'm not even gonna speak to this because I think everyone can see that you are very uninformed here.
4) "Member of the Council on Foreign Relations" - How much tin foil are you actually wearing right now.
5) "HENRY KISSINGER A CABINET MEMBER" - first of all, chill with the caps lock, we can hear you just fine. I haven't heard anything of the sort but even though Kissinger is not popular among some circles, he has been a very powerful figure who has actually done a lot of good.- Frnnkdlxx, on 01/30/2008, -8/+3You discredited yourself the ENTIRE WAY! lol. - amadeusdemarzi, on 01/30/2008, -4/+4Easy there buddy. You're complaining about credibility when your favorite digg storey is an Alex Jones conspiracy theory about Digg sensoring Ron Paul articles?
Learn a bit about technology before you spout or support such idiotic ignorance.
Put it this way. I have many friends who SUPPORT Ron Paul. So be it, but there is a major difference between a supporter and a spammer. You, unfortuneately fall into the latter catagory.
He who know's the least, speaks the loudest and the most. - Frnnkdlxx, on 01/30/2008, -5/+3I'd ask you to check that Alex Jones story. It's submitted by a guy who claims to be a member of the Bury Brigade. In it, he and the members of his friends list congregate to congratulatorily support eachother for singlehandedly breaking up the "Truth Movement" lol. It's quite funny there.
Therefore, I'd ask you to be careful with what sticks you choose to throw.
P.S. wtf does technology have to do with anything? Are you even referring to me?
"He who know's the least, speaks the loudest and the most."
Again, I ask, as I usually do to people who sit atop a high horse, ready to be tossed down to a hard fall, "Are you retarded?"
Please, investigate my submissions, all of them, check out my sources, and reailze, I don't mince my words. 99% of cases, I have documentation for all my stories and facts.
I think backwards trekking moron owes innocent informing man an apology, wouldn't backwards trekking moron agree?
.....Last thing... I like how you call your own friends ignorant. It speaks on the person you are.
- Malevolant, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Youre completely wrong about the republicans wanting Hilary to win. They want Obama to get the nomination because they know they can beat him, regardless of polls. Want proof? Listen to Sean Hannity who goes on daily trying to derail Clintons chances. He calls it the stop Hilary express. They do not want her to win because she is the stronger candidate with broader appeal. I know the media is helping to sell Obama as being the second coming, but as you saw in Florida, reality is saying something different.

- builtby, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1To clarify things: Bill Clinton did say that Hilary and McCain are best of friends but that is only because the democrats are afraid of McCain. He is the only republican candidate that can sway independent voters. This was a last ditch effort by Bill Clinton to help Mitt Romney win Florida but it didn't work.
- carbog, on 01/30/2008, -4/+51) The republicans want Hillary because they know they don't have a chance against Obama.

- Cyrus042, on 01/30/2008, -1/+7Both the GOP and the Democratic party are minorities when compared to the overwhelming amount of independent voters. Disenchanted Republicans aren't "switching" sides, if anything there will be more moderates than ever this election. Which is why during the Democratic debates, Obama, Edwards and Clinton singled out McCain as the biggest threat. The fight is going to be over the middle, not the extremes.

- jmhyer51, on 01/30/2008, -3/+4You count me in with that number. I've been raised as a Republican all my life. My vote will defiantly go with Obama if he wins the nomination.

- eclectro, on 01/30/2008, -3/+2I don't think that the GOP hates her. Well not everyone. Plus it's not the GOP that the democratic nominee needs to worry about. It's independents. It's just that no one will vote for her (imo). Kinda liked what happened with Kerry in 2004. Whoever the Democratic nominee is, they are going to need crossover/independents to vote for them. Otherwise you have another 4-8 years of the GOP. Personally, I'll vote for Obama, but not Hillary. If it's a Hillary/McCain, then I may not vote for either of them, and pick another independent (even though their election is unlikely). My primary problem with Hillary is she is too sold out to corporations. Not her gender. McCain is just another Washington insider. Maybe that's what everyone wants. Not me.
- mal1964, on 01/30/2008, -1/+3They all do you same thing not just Hillary. look at all of them.
http://www.whitehouseforsale.org/- userperson, on 02/02/2008, -0/+2I love in his adds how Obama says he doesn't take money from lobbyist which have become too powerful or some jazz like that.

- Sporky023, on 01/30/2008, -0/+3Electro, you read the statement wrong. nfkiller said "Nothing will get done IF SHE'S ELECTED." I entirely agree. It's been almost twenty years now I've been hearing Rush Limbaugh rail on Hillary. Anyone who has at any time allowed themselves to be brainwashed by Rush (which I would say is most Republicans, even if they've grown out of it now) has at some level a demonizing hatred of Hillary. This means she won't be able to negotiate cooperation from the tusk-heads because their constituents would see it as a sign their sex organs are about to shrivel up and fall off.
- mal1964, on 01/30/2008, -1/+3They all do you same thing not just Hillary. look at all of them.
- Cyrus042, on 01/30/2008, -0/+6Not just that, but Hillary can't pull the moderate vote if she's running against McCain. Giuliani will likely endorse McCain tomorrow, and if McCain decides to totally focus on independents / moderates in the general election and picks up Giuliani as a running mate (which is a possibility) then the democrats are going to actually have competition. McCain can pull conservative democrats, independents, and GOP by default (who need a Republican to secure a judge if it opens). Can Hillary pull the moderates? No. Can Obama? Extremely possible. - Sporky023, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1I hope the republicans focus on moderates. Then we Dems can run a balls-to-the-wall ideologically pure campaign and inspire people to think like we do, while the republicans flounder with an identity crisis. Same as 2004, but with the roles reversed.

The Senate will probably remain pretty level between Democrats and Republicans. If we want something done, we can't have the person who consistently attacks Republicans in general or the person who is consistently attacked my numerous Republicans, and has been for 15 years--that's Hillary.

Obama IS a Muslim. Muslim law states if you are born into it by means of the father, you ARE a Muslim.
Leaving Islam punishable by death: Mohammed said, "Whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him." Koran, Vol. 9:57
> Obama stated he was a Muslim in 'Dreams of My Father', yet today his camp denys it, supports Islam and his closest associates and biggest supporters financially are Muslims.
>Obama's father, grandfather, gg grandfather and stepfather have a history of multiple wives (pologamy) mistresses and 'wives' where no marriage license can be found.
>Obama's Muslim father, grandfather, stepfather have a history of deserting their wives and children.
>Obama attending Muslim schools where he studied the Islam and the Koran.
His teachers and friends testify that he was Muslim.

Quotes from Obama's books that tell us of his Muslim past and love for Islam:
From 'Dreams of my Father', "In Indonesia, I had spent two years at a Muslim school"
"I studied the Koran.."
Obma quote in Dreams Of My Father:
"THE PERSON WHO MADE ME PROUDEST OF ALL WAS MY BROTHER, ROY, WHO CONVERTED TO ISLAM."
"Malcolm X's autobiography seemed to offer something different, His repeated acts of self-creation spoke to me, the blunt poetry of his words, his unadorned insistence on respect, propmised a new and uncompromising order, martial in its discipline forged through sheer force of will"
(I have read Malcom X books- full of hate for the white man.
Yet Obama ADMIRES HIM.)
An interesting side note, Obama's book, The Audacity of Hope when it came out in Jakarta, it's title was translated to......
"Jihad: From Jakarta To The Whitehouse".!!!!!
From 'Audacity', "We are no longer just a Christian nation," "We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers."
(A MUSLIM nation, Obama?? I don't THINK so! Not a Christian nation? We still are.)
From 'Audacity of Hope: "Lolo (Obama's step father) followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths," Obama recalled. "He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share. ", " IT WAS LOLO THAT I LOOKED TO FOR GUIDANCE. " (A Muslim father is obligated to lead the son in the path of Islam)
>Obama is prominantly displayed as banner boy for Project Islamic H.O.P.E.

>Obama scorns his white mother who raised him alone and sent him to a fine university after his Muslim father deserted him.
>He scorns the white grandparents who helped raise and educate him.
>He worships and glorifies the Muslim father who deserted them.
Quotes from Obama's books that prove his disdain for the white race:
From Dreams of My Father, " I FOUND A SOLACE IN NURSING A PERVASISVE SENSE OF GRIEVANCE AND ANIMOSITY AGAINST MY MOTHER'S RACE".
From 'Dreams of My Father',
"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.
From 'Dreams', "never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela."
From 'Dreams',
"There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs," he wrote. "It remained necessary to prove which side you were on,to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names"
From 'Dreams', "I had grown accustomed, everywhere, to suspicions between the races."
From 'Dreams of my Father', "The emotion between the races could never be pure, even love was tarnished by the desire to find in the other some element that was missing in ourselves. Whether we sought out our demons or salvation, the other race would always remain just that: menacing, alien, and apart."
From 'Dreams', "There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white." This was a statement made about one of his bosses.
From 'Audacity', "We are no longer just a Christian nation," "We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers."
>He 'carefully picks his friends' during college years, scorning whites for blacks.

/>Obama joined black radical, racist church as a 'cover'.
The church's pastor, Jeremiah Wright is a radical black supremacist who associates with radical Muslims.
The church's doctrine is printed on their website http://www.tucc.org/about.htm
Part of Obama's church doctrine:
Commitment to the BLACK Community
Commitment to the BLACK Family
Adherence to the BLACK Work Ethic
Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the BLACKCommunity
Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting BLACK Institutions
Pledge allegiance to all BLACK leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
Personal commitment to embracement of the BLACK Value System.
(If your church had such a doctrine, Jesse and Al and the NAACP would have 10,000 demonstrators out front in a heartbeat!!!)
>Obama repeatedly lies to enhance his 'story':
States he was influenced by story in magazine about a black man trying to bleach his skin. No such story exists.
States his grandfather was a poor goat hearder. His father was prosperous.

>Obama's voting record proves he is an extreme radical left winger:
Passed a bill requiring police to videotape interrogations for crimes punishable by the death penalty; legislation to curb racial profiling.
Obama supports homosexual marriage, racial preferences, gun control, flag-burning, socialized medicine and the absolute right to abortion, including partial-birth abortions. He voted against requiring medical care for aborted fetuses who survive.
Obama is anti-war, voted against the reauthorization of the USA Patriot Act, against privatizing Social Security and opposes the death penalty, three strikes laws and school vouchers. HE HAS NO MILITARY SERVICE RECORD.
Obama opposed the Defense of Marriage Act; would work to repeal it in the U.S. Senate; would not vote for any legislation that would restrict the ability of gays and lesbians to marry.
Obama opposed the Born Alive Infant Protection Act four times in Illinois. A similar bill passed the U.S. Senate 98-0. The Born Alive bill would have prohibited a baby from being born alive but left to die according to the mother's wishe!!
Obama opposed this bill not once, twice, or three times, but four times

So Obama is right that we are a muslim nation (nice of you to harp on just that one specific by the way), a christian nation, jewish nation, and nation of nonbeliever. That is what we are. America is a nation that doesn't focus on religion as a part of politics, which it shouldn't be. That is precisely why Huckabee scares the crap out of me.
Heck, even if the man was a Muslim, how in the WORLD does that affect his policy? The government and religion are seperated, there should be no mention of a canidates religion to begin with. - Kautylia, on 01/30/2008, -6/+2The Obama stuff is just as persistent and annoying though. It's sad what digg has become. Hillary won the, admittedly delegateless Flordia primary tonight and I didn't see one story related to that. Just a picture of some guy crossing his fingers shaking her hand and more people supporting Obama. What ever happened to voting up relevant news stories as opposed to being a single-minded rabble of fan boys?
- Protoss, on 01/30/2008, -0/+4Maybe because she won because she was the only Dem. campaigning there and it doesn't even matter?
- urballsrshowing, on 01/30/2008, -0/+4Agreed. Go to any major news organization's website and you will find the headline broadcasting Hilary's irrelevant victory in the delegate-less state of Florida. Digg is designed to promote stories that aren't necessarily brought into the mainstream by traditional news outlets. Granted, Obama is featured in traditional media as well, but thus Digg serves another purpose: to filter out the irrelevant crap that often makes the front pages everywhere else.
- eOgas, on 01/30/2008, -2/+4Maybe it has something to do with those changes they made in the digg algorithm....I'm just sayin'.
- tgc1, on 01/30/2008, -8/+0Argue all ya like, but I think a White House with an Obama / Paul team would be seriously cool right about now. Think about it, whoever becomes president among the two doesn't matter. If they were working together as pres/vice pres things would get done.
- kyzel, on 01/30/2008, -2/+0Well considering Paul is a republican that probably won't happen, but we can always hope for an Obama / Kucinich!
- urballsrshowing, on 01/30/2008, -1/+3Considering that Barack Obama stands for everything that Ron Paul opposes (affordable healthcare, the environment, affordable education, repealing the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy), they would make a very unlikely and counter-productive duo. Indeed, the only thing Ron Paul has going for him is that he's the only Republican who is vocal about his anti-Iraq stance. Ron Paul would make a terrible President and would only hasten our economic decline with his extremely conservative fiscal and social policies. Do your research: Ron Paul is BAD for the vast majority Americans.
- tgc1, on 01/31/2008, -0/+0Why don't you vote to have the constitution amended so you can then vote bush in for another term.
- TheDHC, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2Paul/Bugs bunny 08
- Xenufield, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1Buried for not understanding the two have drastically opposed political views.
- bobjrn2, on 01/30/2008, -4/+8good, moral, honest, or not, he's still going to raise my taxes =(
(side note: not even a human can read some of these text images)- urballsrshowing, on 01/30/2008, -5/+2You make over $250,000/year? If not, no worries, you'll probably get a tax break. If so, quit complaining and give something back to the country that gave you the opportunity to make that much in the first place.
- scallon, on 01/30/2008, -1/+6Yeah, when you fork over close to half your earnings every year, you might feel a little different. Save the preaching till you've experienced it.
- Xenufield, on 01/30/2008, -2/+6Funny, the last tax increase (Clinton's) hit people making $50k a year, for a few thousand dollars worth of extra taxes.
But you just keep living in denial where Democrats would only tax 250k and above. Oh, enjoy unemployment when your boss fires you because his income has suddenly gone through the floor due to the loss of Bush's tax cuts, and the addition of massive taxes for welfare programs.
- urballsrshowing, on 01/30/2008, -5/+2You make over $250,000/year? If not, no worries, you'll probably get a tax break. If so, quit complaining and give something back to the country that gave you the opportunity to make that much in the first place.
- CJUNIT, on 01/30/2008, -2/+5Hey, I'm hedging my bets. I originally liked Obama, then was swayed by Ron Paul later on based upon several issues, but now that I see he is not doing as well as I hoped I'll go back to Obama (hopefully in the general election). He's essentially my second choice, but a damn good second choice that still has a chance to take this country back!
- 15charmaxwtf, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1And if everyone followed your logic then it is a self fulfilling prophecy :-(
Just sayin' - urballsrshowing, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2I'm just curious: Which issues, specifically, were the one's that Ron Paul swayed you with?
- yoinkdigg, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1The issue that Ron Paul seems to be the only one with any grasp. The economy. I've gone through the exact same thing as CJUNIT. If Ron Paul is on the ballot, he'll be getting my vote. If he's not... Obama will be getting it. If neither of them are on the ballot, I'm moving to europe.
- 15charmaxwtf, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1And if everyone followed your logic then it is a self fulfilling prophecy :-(
- tk0680, on 01/30/2008, -1/+4Let's assume Paul doesn't get the nomination. Are the fanatics going to refuse to vote because RP isn't an option, or perhaps look at a new option?
- _skin_, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2I am still voting for Ron Paul. That is the point of voting! Vote for who you believe in.
- wacki, on 01/30/2008, -4/+6"Obama is the only realistic shot we have a decent president "
Any president that wants to butcher ANY part of our bill of rights, be it the 2nd amendment (Obama) or our the removal of habeas corpus (Bush's Attorney General), is not a decent president IMO. - MOJIRA, on 05/17/2008, -1/+5I support Paul and Obama on each respective side but I voted for Paul in the primaries because I thought he needed it more than Obama. Turns out it didn't matter either way I voted... I LIVE IN FKN FLORIDA.
- RRJackson, on 01/30/2008, -4/+2Heh...there's nothing "realistic" about Obama as a candidate. There's absolutely no way he can win in a general election, but it will take another loss to show my party how out of touch they are. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory once again.
- gaziddlybop, on 01/30/2008, -4/+1LIKE HELL I WILL GET WITH THE PROGRAM!
- Harelin, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1Ron Paul is a Republican, Obama is a democrat. If you haven't noticed, we're still in the primaries - and it makes no sense for Ron Paul supporters to drop support when they're voting in the Republican primaries, with no way to affect Obama. Wait till the primaries are over before expecting anyone to jump ship.
- PDAIsAOk, on 01/30/2008, -43/+110Voting for anyone aside from the candidate you chose based on principle is the problem. I'm sick of people saying "be realistic, vote for the person who has a chance". I'm voting for the candidate who I actually believe in and agree with his positions. Flag it as spam. This is my opinion, and my vote, and Ron Paul has it.
- brainboy77, on 01/30/2008, -22/+4it's time al actually did something to help this country.
- EditorResponse, on 01/30/2008, -1/+5You mean like quit flying the lear jet he has at his disposal so much?
- petrodollar, on 01/30/2008, -4/+1OMG AL GORE FLIES IN JET PLANES GLOBAL WARMING MUST BE A LIE!!!
- zachlac, on 01/30/2008, -1/+4Al Gore winning the peace prize is retarded. Thousands of university researchers are doing real things to help humanity, and they get nothing. Ridiculous.
- EditorResponse, on 01/30/2008, -1/+5You mean like quit flying the lear jet he has at his disposal so much?
- jacobed, on 01/30/2008, -8/+21I wouldn't normally dig or digg the Huffington Post, but Al Gore would certainly be a great endorsement for the only candidate who, in my mind, stands any chance of actually helping our country through the very rough several years ahead.
- Xenufield, on 01/30/2008, -6/+4Given how little credibility Al Gore has with any sane and logic person, it'll just hurt Obama.
Gore's little movie has been disproven as outright propaganda, and even members of the IPCC, who share the prize with him, disagree with his absurd doomsday prophecies.- kewidogg, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Sources to your claims are your friend. Propagating propaganda...not so much
- Xenufield, on 01/30/2008, -6/+4Given how little credibility Al Gore has with any sane and logic person, it'll just hurt Obama.
- InfodivaMLIS, on 01/30/2008, -8/+13Don't Let Tipper Whisper in your ear!!! Stand up man!!! For Goddsakes!!! Where are you??

- whataboutdave, on 01/30/2008, -8/+5Drugs are bad. M'kay?
- fuzzmeister, on 01/30/2008, -4/+21I don't think Gore would take the VP post again, considering the success he has found outside the realm of politics.
- pintomp3, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1i doubt vp also, but i could see a cabinet position.
- deanlowe, on 01/30/2008, -0/+6Gore won't run. His company, Current Media, just file for IPO.
- petrodollar, on 01/30/2008, -4/+1Yeah, who wants to be POTUS when you can be CEO of a podunk internet startup?
- Xenufield, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1When said CEO can force green legislation that would make their company millions if not billions?
You people think Cheney is bad with Haliburton, Gore would make his company bigger than Microsoft, and GE would be worth trillions. - deanlowe, on 01/31/2008, -0/+1He wouldn't start the process now if he was going to run.
- Xenufield, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1When said CEO can force green legislation that would make their company millions if not billions?
- petrodollar, on 01/30/2008, -4/+1Yeah, who wants to be POTUS when you can be CEO of a podunk internet startup?
- GRTWHT, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2While I would gladly vote for Obama versus any of the so-called front runner republican candidates, if Obama were to add Gore to his ticket, I would vote for anyone except the anti-christ (Hillary) before supporting that fraud.
- 89vision, on 01/30/2008, -18/+6I agree with you but Gore-Obama 08 sounds a little better.
- rnwen2750, on 01/30/2008, -21/+11I don't think Gore endorsing anything would be good. Too many people hate him.
- Lionhart, on 01/30/2008, -3/+2That's what they said about Ted Kennedy.
- eclectro, on 01/30/2008, -2/+8The question who does hate him? The O'Reilly republicans who are never going to vote democratic, or the crossover/independents that might value Al Gore's opinion (even though they did not vote for him in 200)? My guess it's the former.
In any case, the same people who hate Al Gore are going to be the same ones that hate Ted Kennedy, and he just gave his endorsement to Obama. - kermit4karate, on 01/30/2008, -2/+6The kinds of people who hate Gore aren't the kinds of people who'd vote for a Democrat anyway, so they're disapproval of Gore doesn't mean much.
- GRTWHT, on 01/30/2008, -1/+4Just shows how wrong you are: I hate Gore and am most likely going to be voting for Obama.
Oh, I hate O'Reilly as well, before the accusations start.- mtjohnson, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Why do you hate Gore?
- GRTWHT, on 01/30/2008, -1/+4Just shows how wrong you are: I hate Gore and am most likely going to be voting for Obama.
- slimjim85, on 01/30/2008, -5/+18IF Al Gore does decide to endorse Obama before tuesday it would be a huge boost.
Kennedy and Gore have a lot of support in the far left, a place that Obama has had some difficulty gaining support. Endorsements by both of them would help a lot.- moraldebate, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1Actally Obama does pretty well with the left - his problem is old people and middle aged women who vote for Hillary because they think they'll never see another viable women candidate. Let's not let these bastards push us into November with a lame-duck candidate.
- h4ckler, on 01/30/2008, -27/+11Why does everyone think AL GORE is god? He's a hypocritical front man. You honestly think he did all that research? (we won't even start to question the validity of it) If he did. He can jump on his private jet after driving to the airport in his stretch limo and explain it to me in person.
Baaaaaah. Baaaaah. *eats grasss*- anselm83, on 01/30/2008, -5/+13Al Gore has never claimed to have done all that research.

- mooseontheloose, on 01/30/2008, -28/+8Why would Gore waste his endorsement on an unelectable fringe candidate who's trailing Clinton by 10% in the national polls? That's about 15 million. Be practical, people. He should endorse Clinton, after all who's a better candidate that's a woman and has a realistic shot of winning?
- GeorgeWKush, on 01/30/2008, -1/+11What's worse than a crazy mother ***** running our country on hot flashes?
- MrTito, on 01/30/2008, -1/+4Why would he endorse Obama when he's trailing Clinton? You answered your own question. It's a game changer, and don't you think Al would enjoy sticking the knife to someone who tried to shove him out of the vice presidential limelight for eight years?
- Lukesed, on 01/30/2008, -6/+34Where are all of these people who support hillary clinton over obama? I've never met any of them but she has 47% in the last poll. http://www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7009868821

- Garay002, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1neither. I wouldnt care who wins. The country would be ***** either way.
- Cyrus042, on 01/30/2008, -5/+6McCain.

- BGog, on 01/30/2008, -2/+6Mcain is a good and compotent man but I don't agree with his politics much so I'd have to vote hillary. But I sure hope it doesn't come to that. I WANT to vote for Obama.
- petrodollar, on 01/30/2008, -9/+5McCain over Hitlery, without a ***** doubt.
- thedragon4453, on 01/30/2008, -1/+9Wow, now that is a battle for the lesser of two evils. I think I'm going to go with a write in for Colbert is that is the case.
- CharlesSaint, on 01/30/2008, -1/+3If it was between those two I'd still vote for Ron Paul as a write-in, if not for any other reason than to still participate in the democratic process and to make a statement about standing behind true conservative and constitutional principles; even when they're not the majority. Also, if things got even worse (and they would if either Hillary or McCain were elected), I could at least say that I did everything I could to try and stop it.
- vault, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2Yeah but it's a statement that would get ignored because very few people would do it compared to the number of people who would pick a Democratic or Republican candidate. All it says is, "Well there's a tiny vocal minority who weren't enough to swing an election nor cannibalize votes, and they want these dramatic changes that the majority of the country couldn't care less about."
Voting for Nader didn't change the DNC's platform.- CharlesSaint, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2I wouldn't expect it to be reported on; I'm just trying to help change the way people think about the role national government should play with respect to state and local government. It's not something that's going to happen overnight.
- vault, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2Yeah but it's a statement that would get ignored because very few people would do it compared to the number of people who would pick a Democratic or Republican candidate. - xenopii, on 01/30/2008, -0/+2I don't know. I'm hoping it doesn't come to that. I haven't decided if it's more important to vote based on policy, or if it's more important to vote against someone who's campaign shines a glaring spotlight on his/her lack of integrity.
- Spudster, on 01/30/2008, -2/+3I'm shocked at how many people here would vote McCain. You guys (mostly Ron Paulers) speak about the ridiculousness of current republican war mongering and the crazy irresponsible fiscal management of neocons, yet at the end of the day, you guys will still vote for a neocon. Wake the ***** up, Hillary may not be likeable or left leaning, but she's better than the current republican crap that's been in power for 8 years.
- asa400, on 01/30/2008, -0/+2Ron Paul supporters != McCain supporters. And I beg to differ on Hillary. She is exactly the same as the current Republican crap that's been in power for 8 years. Voted for the war in Iraq. Voted to keep funding the war in Iraq. Voted for the Patriot Act. If she had been in office the last 8 years, the only difference in our country's status is that we would have more debt because of a quasi-socialist health care scheme. We'd still be in Iraq, and we'd still have warrentless wiretaps.
If Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination, I will vote independent like I always have.- zdislaw, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1I disagree that we'd still be in Iraq were Hillary president for the pas 8 years. Yes, she voted to support Bush on that, but it took a very special neocon group - of which Bush is part - to desire, plan, and sell that particular action. Hillary would never have gone down that road to begin with. Not many would have (Rep or Dem).
- asa400, on 01/31/2008, -1/+1Honestly, your comment makes no sense. Hillary fell for the Bush sales pitch, but she's smart enough to be President regardless? I'm not convinced.
- Spudster, on 01/30/2008, -2/+2This argument that the Democrats build up the debt is highly misleading. The last two major increases in the deficit were under Republican administrations (Reagan and Bush) while Clinton actually reduced the deficit. Unless a radically different Republican gets into power that isn't a neocon (won't happen this election), then there is no reason to believe that the Republicans will be more fiscally responsible than Democrats.
After all, war isn't cheap.- asa400, on 01/31/2008, -0/+1I agree...historically, Republicans certainly aren't fiscally responsible. Hopefully my comment above isn't being construed as support for past or present Republican administrations. However, given the fact that Hillary voted for war in Iraq AND supports universal health care, it's fairly safe to say that she would have built up more debt than Bush by now.
- zdislaw, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1I disagree that we'd still be in Iraq were Hillary president for the pas 8 years. - trotskyist, on 01/30/2008, -5/+22I'd vote for Hillary.
- Capstone, on 01/30/2008, -11/+6If only Al Gore, Jimmy Carter, and John Kerry would get together and endorse at the same time.... that would send a really impressive message.
- trotskyist, on 01/30/2008, -0/+11John Kerry already endorsed Obama...
- wheresjim, on 01/30/2008, -0/+2Carter's said he won't endorse anyone until the general-which is the right thing to do for a former president.
- rz8472, on 01/30/2008, -0/+5Carter has indicated a preference towards Obama, but not officially endorsed him.
- eclectro, on 01/30/2008, -2/+1I think Jimmy Carter would carry a lot of weight. If he does not give an endorsement, that would be telling.

- GeorgeWKush, on 01/30/2008, -1/+5The truth hurts.
- petrodollar, on 01/30/2008, -3/+2I have yet to hear a sensible argument against Real ID. All it does is set national standards for state-issued driver's licences. Assuming it's mandated, how is it any more intrusive than the current system? It's not like the NCIC and CIB can't already track everything you do with your current driver's license. All this tinfoil hattery against big brother is at best misplaced.
- MalDON, on 01/30/2008, -3/+2Seriously people? Is that what you worry about when there's a chance some dickwad is going to start WW3? Wow.
- GeorgeWKush, on 01/30/2008, -3/+4I'm glad there's at least one person on Digg that isn't politically blind.
- kermit4karate, on 01/30/2008, -4/+3That's a cop out. Status quo is code for "I don't care; they're all the same. Pass the bong."
- NinjaJoey, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2Well, he is pretty status quo. He's the least status quo that has a shot, I'd say. I wish I could build my own candidate from the ground up. Obama wouldn't be it, but he's decently close.
- Napoleone, on 01/30/2008, -11/+13I just found out he voted for the Real ID. You might be on to something.
- mochaman, on 01/30/2008, -3/+17Al Gore's endorsement would be nice and it would tilt some dems, but I doubt that it would be enough to derail the Clinton machine. I hate to say this but this primary will be less about votes and more about delegates. And if this turnout to be the case then we can expect all kinds of weird party rules to play a factor in the election.
Make no mistake this is a dog fight and I'm predicting we wont know the who the nominee is until it is settle at the convention. As much as I like Obama he is in against a pair formidable opponents who are well entrenched with the establishment and who are well funded to fight him all the way. If Obama emerges victorious he will get my vote and I say this as an independent.- GeorgeWKush, on 01/30/2008, -12/+1I wonder why this guy gets positive Diggs by droning on and on and on, even using the phrase "make no mistake." I say Obama represents the status quo, a verifiable fact, and I get negative Diggs.
- MalDON, on 01/30/2008, -1/+3Because compared to hillary, he is not. Hillary brings back the same assholes who have been in office for ***** ever.
- Sporky023, on 01/30/2008, -1/+5@GeorgeWKush: For those of us who pride ourselves on our absolutely phenomenal attention spans, who can read six LINES of text and keep on truckin', your tendency to make ambiguous and general statements like "Obama represents the status quo", and then back it up with such pseudo-tautological wankery as calling it "a verifiable fact" is all the more annoying because you obviously believe your inability to articulate yourself is a boon for efficient communication. I guess you pride yourself on being a man of few words; well maybe it's time to pull out a dictionary and make yourself a man of enough words. You get negative Diggs not so much as you believe for expressing viewpoints others do not agree with, but for failing to appreciate the necessity of intelligent communication, for missing the significance of the signal-to-noise ratio and the proper information-engineering function of the Digg system. My advice, should you even get this far: stop considering two short paragraphs to be the same as "droning on and on", and read a book or two. Goosebumps is a good place to start.
- GeorgeWKush, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1Vote for Ron Paul, write his name on the ballet. It's that simple. Don't settle on Obama, cause he's a borderline neocon. By the way, I can read more than 6 lines, but if every stupid mother ***** on Digg wrote 6 lines, how many stupid mother ***** comments would you read? It works to keep things short and sweet.
- mochaman, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1All the drivel you have spewed so far only tells me that you are nothing more than a Ron Paul spammer and frankly you have nothing intelligent to say. Go ahead put Digg down while at the same time you hanker for attention - hypocrite. What a cry baby whaa! Look at me "Obama represent status quo and I'm getting negative Diggs." That's all you have to say Big deal.
- GeorgeWKush, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1Why are Diggers so lazy they can't spend 10 seconds to verify what they are talking about. Check my history you stupid *****, I'm not a Ron Paul spammer.
- mochaman, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1You are Ron Paul Spammer!!!
- GeorgeWKush, on 01/31/2008, -0/+1Check my history. I'm clearly not.
- GeorgeWKush, on 01/30/2008, -12/+1I wonder why this guy gets positive Diggs by droning on and on and on, even using the phrase "make no mistake." I say Obama represents the status quo, a verifiable fact, and I get negative Diggs.
- Zacktopia, on 01/30/2008, -12/+6Obama is either hiding his uncertainty on issues (due to inexperience) with vague platitudes and generalities (ie "change") or else he is a stealth candidate who knows more than he is willing to say. Meanwhile Hillary and Edwards are letting it all hang out. Obama needs to open up more to be a serious candidate. Moon-eyed wishful thinking would not make for a successful Presidency even if he were elected.
- zioxide, on 01/30/2008, -3/+8http://www.barackobama.com/issues/
He doesn't seem to be hiding that.- monkeyrun, on 01/30/2008, -4/+3That's basically a carbon copy of what all democratic candidates are saying all along.
- Zacktopia, on 01/30/2008, -0/+2Obama's foreign policy team have a track record that conflicts with his stated pro-Israel positions. My guess is they were signed on because they agree with him on Iraq, but that's pure speculation.
See the Obama part of this commentary: http://www.CarolineGlick.com/e/2008/01/the_audacit ...
- petrodollar, on 01/30/2008, -2/+4Having actually met him on a three separate occasions before he got elected to the Senate, I'd go with stealth. The guy is sharp as a tack.
- RonJon715, on 01/30/2008, -0/+0If you think Hillary Clinton is "letting it all hang out," than America's expectations of politicians has hit a low that I never could have imagined. What exactly is it that you are talking about? The Hillary Clinton I've seen for the last 15 years is a calculating political robot. She is the Queen of sidestepping questions and double talk. "Conversation with America," what a joke. The only "experience" Hillary Clinton has involves riding the political coattails of her husband. I have no problem with electing a female president. But honestly women out there: Do you really want the first female president to be someone who is despised and perceived as riding the political wave her husband created? If she is elected, you can bet it'll be another 200 years before we elect another woman after her.

- phinn, on 01/30/2008, -11/+3Who the hell cares about Al Gore? Obama doesn't need him to have a good shot at winning.
- kermit4karate, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2But every little bit helps. Gore received more than 40 million votes 7 years ago. If his endorsement meant Obama got another few thousand votes it could mean the difference between winning or losing.
- xatx2, on 01/30/2008, -8/+1well said
- pugs909, on 01/30/2008, -22/+11Obama is a good motivational speaker.
So is my Civil Procedure professor.
Neither are qualified.- petrodollar, on 01/30/2008, -3/+3You must go to Brooklyn, New York Law School, Cardozo, or Fordham. Any random civ pro prof at NYU or CLS is probably more qualified than most of the current candidates, and Obama taught con law at Chicago after being EIC of Harvard Law Review. I'd say that makes him a) qualified and b) smart.
- pugs909, on 01/30/2008, -0/+0lol i was not actually referring to a particular professor, i was merely making a point. Obama speaks in generalities, doesn't that bother anyone?
- petrodollar, on 01/30/2008, -3/+3You must go to Brooklyn, New York Law School, Cardozo, or Fordham. - monkeyrun, on 01/30/2008, -17/+6err.. what's so great about Obama!?
If he's so great why does he need endorsement?- MindTrigger, on 01/30/2008, -3/+2Really?
- MadMax3000, on 01/30/2008, -2/+3There is some people in the world who wants other people's opinion before they make a decision, and that's why he needs endorsement just to get the rest
- jhails, on 01/30/2008, -4/+9I doubt that Gore is going to get into this but I would welcome his endorsement of Obama.
Watch Billary cry then!- rockyeugene, on 01/31/2008, -0/+0Why wouldn't he? He won't endorse Hillary, she did alot of damage to his 2000 campaign by stealing his thunder - running for the Senate and fund raising at the same times and places as Gore as he was running for president. He won't endorse her.... he SHOULD endorse him.. its too late for him to run himself.
- socomoddjob, on 01/30/2008, -9/+25Gore should be running........
- petrodollar, on 01/30/2008, -1/+12Or at least power walking.
- Balath, on 01/30/2008, -1/+4If I were Gore, I'd never dirty my hands with politics again.
- triskele, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1The problem is that if he won and during his tenure no significant change was made regarding global warming then his credibility goes right out the window.
- jmgb, on 01/30/2008, -8/+3As things are, Obama has a lot of work to do. The Gore nomination would make him the clear favorite. But I just don't see it happening.
Al is on top of the world right now. He has successfully broken away from the unsavory side of politics, and is actually doing more good than most of those still in Washington. He is well-liked by people of both parties and is using that capital to advance his environmental initiatives. I don't think that he'd give up those gains, go against the Clintons, and risk alienating a large portion of the population to endorse Obama, as much as it would help.- Spudster, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1Why is this being dugg down? The man is completely right about this; it's not smart personally for Al Gore to endorse either candidate.
- bingobongony, on 01/30/2008, -14/+9Since when is Al Gore a good endorsement?
- 1timeuser, on 01/30/2008, -2/+3Since like... forever. I know its hard to believe, but most people with an IQ above 90 seem to like Gore.
- bingobongony, on 01/30/2008, -1/+1Really? Soruces please.
- MalDON, on 01/30/2008, -1/+2q. are you from the south? White?

- cl2yp71c, on 01/30/2008, -18/+4Global warming is a sham.
Boo Al!- 1timeuser, on 01/30/2008, -2/+3Yes... damn you... science.
- cl2yp71c, on 01/30/2008, -3/+1Science can't be a sham....Mr. Scientist?
- vade79, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1No, not really...one of the beauties of science.
- cl2yp71c, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1And you're educated enough to make sure even the most ridiculous theory is foolproof?
Right.....*rolls eyes*

- JJ2K1, on 01/30/2008, -12/+4Wow, I think this is the official story that proves digg users are just clueless when it comes to politics. Al Gore?
- lamprey187, on 01/30/2008, -12/+3He invented the internet for pete's sake of course he reads digg every night at Woz's house on an Apple 2e.
- saranagati, on 01/30/2008, -3/+15A lot of people who are voting for clinton are voting for her because they believe her husband did a great job and so did al gore as vp. If gore actually went against hilary (and in effect bill), I think a lot of people would question their vote for hilary because not even gore is endorsing her and they ought to be good friends. On that same note though, I think that's why he hasn't endorsed obama (though kucinich would have been the logical choice on who to back up for him seeing as he's so pro environment). If he did endorse him then he would basically be saying ***** you to the clintons. If he did actually support hilary, then there's absolutely no reason that he hasn't endorsed her yet.
- bonjourmr, on 04/25/2008, -5/+3Everyone in America is a celebrity nowadays. ***** your media off, and we might take you guys seriously.
- Misinformant, on 01/30/2008, -9/+5I like Edwards, but I'm hoping he'll drop out to send more votes in Obama's direction.
Otherwise.........it's...Hillary...
*shudder* - kittenman, on 01/30/2008, -12/+6why not endorse Ron Paul ?
- pugs909, on 01/30/2008, -8/+2because he is an academic who looks good on paper but is the most unrealistic politician i have ever heard, he would send us our economy to the DARK ages with the gold standard
- Napoleone, on 01/30/2008, -3/+6You mean that precious metal that keeps goes up in value while our dollar's purchasing power continues to shrink? What a madman, huh?
- petrodollar, on 01/30/2008, -6/+1You mean that metal that's only precious because you can exchange it for actual dollars?
- petrodollar, on 01/30/2008, -5/+3Since when does going to med school and ranting about the fed make someone an academic? Ron Paul's reading of the constitution is so laughably ill informed he's either being deliberately dishonest or he's borderline retarded.
- Napoleone, on 01/30/2008, -3/+6You mean that precious metal that keeps goes up in value while our dollar's purchasing power continues to shrink? What a madman, huh?
- tightscrummy, on 01/30/2008, -3/+5My momma told me to never trust a man that had two first names.
- MalDON, on 01/30/2008, -0/+1It would be a waste for one and gore would never endorse less government.
- pugs909, on 01/30/2008, -8/+2because he is an academic who looks good on paper but is the most unrealistic politician i have ever heard, he would send us our economy to the DARK ages with the gold standard
- jdowney, on 01/30/2008, -14/+2really if he wants to help, he should endorse Ron Paul, this does two things, raises awarness of Ron Paul. and will more than likely swing votes to someone else since most people like to believe they are voting on their own, so if the all knowing and powerful al gore says to vote for someone they will vote against him to prove they are independent.
- wc3452, on 01/30/2008, -2/+8I don't think Al Gore could live with himself if he endorsed Ron Paul...
- 15charmaxwtf, on 01/30/2008, -2/+2Vice-versa.
- wc3452, on 01/30/2008, -2/+8I don't think Al Gore could live with himself if he endorsed Ron Paul...
- bingobongony, on 01/30/2008, -8/+3I can see Al Gore's thought process now. "Hmmmm, well, I was planning on endorsing Hillary Clinton right after I polished off this big plate of cupcakes. But the huffingtonpost has asked me to endorse Obama. So I guess I will. Hey, Tipper! Bring me some frosting!"
- Kikinou, on 01/30/2008, -7/+2As long as Giuliani is out, I'm happy. I can live with Obama, Clinton, or McCain. The world would be safe with any of them. No more legal torture in our name. Romney is a tool who'll say anything, he can't win but even if he did I don't think he's an evil man like Giuliani or Cheney are.
