- AmeriPatriot, on 07/05/2009, -5/+36So let me get this straight, it was okay for her to blast Obama with all kinds of rhetoric and rile up some idiots at rallies during the election to threaten Obama's life...
YET...it's not okay for someone to hold her accountable for things she actually did?
Suck it up Palin, you want to be in the spotlight and cause trouble yourself, the same will happen to you.
This woman insults me as a Christian and insults my mother and girlfriend as a strong Christian woman.
Hypocrite. - docjulia, on 07/05/2009, -5/+31We were left scratching our heads. A woman who was the Vice Presidential candidate for the Republican Party, and who has been deemed in some circles to be a plausible contender for her party's presidential nominee in 2012, is quitting her job as governor, 17 months before the end of her first term, because people are picking on her?
- devans00, on 07/05/2009, -3/+20This article was hilarious. From the first paragraph, "a crumpled up tin can on the refuse pile of epic failure" to the last sentence, "THERE ARE RUMORS". Very funny.
I, too, can't wait to see how Sarah Palin and her attorney Thomas Van Flein plan to punish every person on the internet who has talked smack about her. Or even get New York Times, MSNBC and The Washington Post to stop mentioning Palin in ways she doesn't approve. Especially now that she will soon be a private citizen. Without the weight of the Governorship of Alaska or the GOP behind her.
Pass the popcorn, please. - CosmicSurfer, on 07/05/2009, -2/+14She insults ALL independent and intelligent women everywhere
- repruhsent, on 07/06/2009, -1/+10She's an idiot. She's a study in contradictions:
- Pro abstinence-only sex ed, but has a daughter who shat out a kid and showed how great abstinence-only sex ed works (not that I can blame her boyfriend - if I would have been in her HS I would have tried to ***** her too)
- She started muckraking against BO during the presidential campaign with all of her "paling around with terrorists" *****, then gets butthurt about off-color comments Letterman made about her daughter (she didn't quite realize that all her bitching did was give him higher ratings)
I guess I can't expect anything less from her - the campaign who nominated her had one major point going against BO, that being his lack of experience, so what do they do? They nominate someone with demonstrably less experience.
Hey, Sarah... going to sue me now too? - devans00, on 07/05/2009, -0/+8Maybe he's next to come out with his own scandal?
- TheJimid, on 07/05/2009, -3/+11It's been a tough week for gop 2012 hopefuls, I bet Bobby Jindal is loving every second of this.
- AmeriPatriot, on 07/05/2009, -2/+9Nice synopsis of her career. lol
- suinmind, on 07/06/2009, -3/+10If you are in Palin's crosshair, you are probably doing something good.....or sane.

about that NON EXISTING fbi investigation on the Palins:
http://digg.com/d1vitH
"The FBI reiterated that claim Saturday, telling the Los Angeles Times for a story Sunday that the Federal Bureau of Investigation was not investigating Palin's activities as governor, a former mayor or in any other capacity.
"There is absolutely no truth to those rumors that we're investigating her or getting ready to indict her," Special Agent Eric Gonzalez, the bureau's Alaska spokesman, said" - mahlers2nd, on 07/05/2009, -4/+11I particularly liked the part about "so let me get this straight... she's resigning because people are picking on her".
- Keggluneq, on 07/06/2009, -2/+9More like an insult to primates everywhere..
- Keggluneq, on 07/06/2009, -3/+8Did she ever give those clothes back?
- analogkid01, on 07/06/2009, -0/+5Too much of a reach. Try again.
- AndySavage, on 07/06/2009, -0/+4Is this really the only way lying Republicans think they can get their way? Do they think that it would be sufficient sleight of hand to cover up their blatant lies, reacting to accusations by filing lawsuits they know they can't win?
We have plenty of lying Democrats, no doubt, but the Republicans just don't know when to quit when they've been called out. It's getting absurd. When she gets questioned in the proceedings of whatever upcoming investigation that's currently brewing, how many times will she answer with "I do not recall?" It's shameless, and disgusting. - Keggluneq, on 07/06/2009, -0/+4$150K in clothes stashed in trash bags at RNC? Seems likely. Sounds to me like nobody has a clue where the clothes really are. Those trash bags are probably** filled with old Carhartts and used diapers.

- DangerCollie, on 07/06/2009, -1/+4This has gone from merely bizarre to a circus of the macabre.
- FTWmovin2canada, on 07/05/2009, -1/+4You forgot the quotes...
- AndrewDB, on 07/06/2009, -1/+4Nope.
- SoulGrub, on 07/06/2009, -1/+3It's not clear what her reasons are (her 15min press conference with no questions taken didn't indicate any), but here's a take on 3 short possible reasons from Cenk Uygur of HuffPo. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/cenk-uygur/heres-wha ...
Namely, 1. Preparing to run for president, 2. To build personal weath, and 3. Upcoming scandal
1. and 3. particularly makes sense. - Keggluneq, on 07/06/2009, -2/+4That's quite an ignorant comment given that the whole purpose of digg is to link to content of other sites. Do you not get the concept of digg?
- repruhsent, on 07/06/2009, -1/+3I was wondering this too when I saw this earlier today. I'm guessing no.
- analogkid01, on 07/06/2009, -1/+3Your comment suggests that Palin's a Christian, which, judging by her works, she's not. When was the last time she fed the poor, or cared for the sick, or uplifted the spirits of the outcasts in our society? These are the tell-tale signs of a Christian - not a shrill woman who has little to offer but an acid tongue and gay-bashing.
- kireland8, on 07/06/2009, -0/+1As another commentator said earlier "It doesn't get any weirder than this." She was actually on the ticket of one of the political parties as a heart beat away from the the US Presidency. Please try not to forget that in 30 seconds.
"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro." —Hunter S. Thompson - bjornski, on 07/06/2009, -0/+1Wah.
Were they wrong about her?
/didn't mean to hit report there mods, just un-hide :P - bjornski, on 07/06/2009, -0/+1It's "Reagan Conservatism".
- Moralogic, on 07/06/2009, -0/+11 & 3 can only be done if she quits being a media whore though.
- rabidjester, on 07/06/2009, -4/+4You know, if we just stop talking about this weirdo, she'll go away.
- Fogdelune, on 07/06/2009, -4/+3Perhaps she should be sued by Obama. After all, she did say he was "pallin' around with terrorists" regarding Robert Ayers. If that's not defamation of character, what is?
- mogebier, on 07/07/2009, -2/+1Then you are really bad at comprehension and reading in general.
You must have flunked out of public school.
You still live with your parents, don't you? - alais, on 07/06/2009, -4/+3Yep.
http://cli.gs/VMEA7A - mogebier, on 07/06/2009, -2/+1That's quite an ignorant comment you state there too. Did you not READ mine? Read it, then comprehend it before you reply.
- Keggluneq, on 07/06/2009, -2/+1Just read your post again. It's still just as stupid as it was the first time around.
- mogebier, on 07/06/2009, -8/+4How much of a kickback does Huff give Kevin Rose for sending all of us to her site multiple times a day, thus artificially inflating her visitor numbers so she gets more $$$ from ads?
- inactive, on 07/06/2009, -10/+2"You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. What I mean by that is it's an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before. This is an opportunity." Rahm Emanuel
Sounds to me like Palin is just following the Obama blueprint. - gtluke, on 07/06/2009, -11/+2Palin, in Huffpo's crosshairs for the last year.
Who cares, liberals have no feelings, they are just sheep.
