  • KyleRayner, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7I thought it was the New media that was weak, biased, and easily-led. The Old media had real reporters, people who dug for info, scoured for clues and stories. They worked hard to keep the people involved and informed, something that once really mattered. New media just gets its news from press releases, conferences, statements, and AP.

  • inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1The context of Halperin's statement was a last minute strategy to convince voters that the MSM wasn't really left. Notice the rash of right-leaning moves by the MSM since the statement. Funny that.
