You know, I was unemployed before I had a job. And before I was eligible to work, I was a middle school student. And before that, I was an uneducated toddler. And ever before that, I was a fetus.
You know, everyone was doing something else before doing what they are now. I'd partially understand your argument if Obama had become president while leaving his position as a "community organizer" but he was a SENATOR. Here's a little map:
