Today, we're going to present some data about income and wealth distribution that you've probably never before seen brought together in one place. Make sure your seat belt is securely fastened. For example, let's take the wealthiest 1/10 of one percent of all Americans. There are 130,500 such taxpayers. They have more income than the 120 million Americans at the bottom. Nice, huh? How about wealth? The 400 richest Americans are all billionaires. Would you believe that they have as much wealth as the entire bottom half of the nation? Yes, these 400 families have as much wealth as 57 million other American families. And globally, the situation is even worse. Listen to the podcast for more details.
