- truspector, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4This is ridiculous. If they were so worried about blatant piracy of Warhawk, why not just lock it to the console it was downloaded on as MS does. The problem is, people downloaded this last night not knowing that only their account would be able to play it and now they can't get a refund for the disc version.

- CReyes4182, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Yes I can confirm and its *****. I have multiple psn accounts and the only reason I downloaded it on the one I did was because I didn't want to retype my credit card info. Now I'm ***** but on the other hand it is a fun game :/
- CReyes4182, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2They should have locked it to the console... I mean what if your psn gets banned or something? Time to buy warhawk again?
- truspector, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3utter ***** *****.
- etgoboom, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1i heard about it on the PS forums. Apparently the account that pays/dl's the game is the only account that can play it. This means that you can only get one player profile for each 40dollar purchase. One more reason to buy the disc version
- coheedcollapse, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Also, this article clears Sony's decision to do this up. It's a lot more informative and balanced than a gamefaqs forum post.

- themacx, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I got no credit card so i HAVE to wait for the Bluray... don't see me COPY the game for the whole family do you, they to have to buy it..."Warhawk PSN download version cannot be played by your family members" damn this is the most SILLY argument EVER.
- coheedcollapse, on 10/10/2007, -3/+3Oh jesus christ. If you didn't expect this you're a complete idiot. As of now, I've bought only one game, the rest were shared to my console via having my friend log on to her sister's account on my console and downloading all of the games that she's bought. I'm sure Sony has noticed this widespread activity and figured that they should lock down downloaded copies of warhawk.
If you really care so much about your daughter or whatever playing on a different account, get the disc version.
Don't be an ***** and turn this into some unmanageable DRM issue. It's the price we have to pay for having such an open system in the first place. If a $40 game could be shared as easily as the others, no one would buy it. - coheedcollapse, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1It stated very clearly before downloading that you'd have to be logged in to the owner account to verify and play the game.
If they'd locked it to a single console you guys would be complaining about the inability to transfer between consoles because the fact that the disc has no protection magnifies the fact that the downloaded version does.
