I think Haze was the backup plan in case Epic couldn't get the game out before the holidays. Just my opion, no facts.

With that said, I'm sure it won't take long to optimize the PC version for the 360. But, due to the contractual agreement they have with Sony, the earliest it will be out is June 10th.

I also know that they're not working on the 360 version until after the holidays, and they still need to figure out how to customize profiles and characters on the 360 one.

But the fact is, if we're gonna play with controllers, we'd rather play with people with controllers too.. just makes it fair, and more fun overall not to get owned. If the 360 supported kb/mouse, i would HAVE to get them.. its just impossible to compete with a controller. But the fact that it is not supported at least keeps the playing field equal
I can't imagine a game that would put controllers and kb/mouse on the same level.. it just isn't. Shadowrun for example (Both 360 and PC can play together) is different has the aiming is not precise.. so both sides get about the same accuracy. - supermanred, on 11/22/2007, -1/+6Actually, the PC you could afford on social assistance (half a brain) would run UT3 pretty ***** compared to a console. You would need a full brain and a good job to afford the 4,000 $ PC it would take to run UT3 better than on the ps3 or 360.

Plus I've heard the method which they used for "controller" play is better than any FPS controller scheme to date... We'll see, I still think ALL FPS should have the KB/Mouse standard. Its why I refuse to play any Halo till it hits PC. I forsaw the Haze delays last month where there had been no new vidoes, press releases, special events or anything of the kind being pushed out for it.

drizzlelicious - why? What possible support do you have for what you said? ID are renowned for supporting Linux flawlessly with their games, most of which are top-notch, and the majority of other games (eg. The Orange Box) play flawlessly in WINE. Plus, not everyone can afford to blow such a huge wad on a games console. And in the case of the PS3, the limited number of quality games doesn't warrant such an expenditure, currently; an X360 or Wii is the smarter (and cheaper) choice.
