I was thinking maybe a CoD MMO, but this looks just as cool. I think Zipper are the guys who made SOCOM initially? If so, it should be good. I like that it's 8v8v8v8 etc., instead of just two big teams.

- twistedlogic149, on 07/15/2008, -14/+56I think Sony managed to stay on-par with Microsoft. Microsoft was mostly announcing multi-platform games. As big of a deal as it is that they're getting FF13, it's not an exclusive... whereas Sony rolled out nothing but exclusives with Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, a new Ratchet & Clank, Gran Turismo 5, God of War 3, and then of course M.A.G. which is just incredible.
When you compare the two... it really seems like Sony might have done a lot better. Microsoft was pretty much doing free promotion for their games, despite coming out on other consoles as well. - JonTheGoose, on 07/16/2008, -0/+38***** teams.

I've never understood why people stop programming in bots. Is it that hard. The PS3 should have the power to give us smarter bots. I'd be happy if they gave us the bots from Perfect Dark. - flamov, on 07/16/2008, -0/+8Well, with respect they did reveal quite a lot - they confirmed GoW3, more LittleBigPlanet stuff; Star Strike Portable seemed to please A LOT of people. It's not just their conference, it's also the rest of E3 - a lot was revealed about LittleBigPlanet during the demos, for example.
I watched the Live Stream of the event, and in my opinion, I think they stole E3. It's was very entertaining (the LittleBigPlanet sales presentation was very cool) and it seemed very friendly.
Also, their announcement of the HD and SD video purchase and rentals was pretty big too, seeing how much respect Sony has in the production and publishing side of Movies and TV. - turpenine, on 07/16/2008, -0/+8battlefield 2 had 64 players since 2004 (or 2005).
