- chingy1788, on 11/06/2007, -6/+98im going to go ahead and say the ps3 has finally been released
Cheaper price, better ads - sourwood, on 11/04/2007, -1/+54Hehe. "Sony Gets Head."
- bradleyjx, on 11/06/2007, -5/+56Now _that_ is a commercial to get people to think about the PS3. That and the GT5 Prologue in there...
- DBiz, on 11/06/2007, -1/+44Now if MGS4 was still on track... :(
Regardless, kudos to Sony for making things competitive again, starting with the price drop and now a great commercial campaign. - LotusWolf, on 11/04/2007, -1/+41glad i wasnt the only to read that wrong
- princesurout, on 11/06/2007, -2/+42is it sad we get excited about marketing?
- etgoboom, on 11/06/2007, -5/+42great ads for Sony's biggest ad campaign evar
- DiggzDE, on 11/06/2007, -3/+37Says the guy with the Microsoft Windows logo by his name.
- ZenMojo, on 11/06/2007, -6/+37Hitler loved animals and was fun at parties! Digg me down, Hitler-haters!
- inactive, on 11/06/2007, -2/+29Apparently Sony
- Kishoba, on 11/06/2007, -1/+28I still think the ps2 commercial, about the implants, ps9, and the whole future is now theme was the best ps commercial ever.
- Hobbes24, on 11/06/2007, -2/+29trippy...though i hope the ps3 case dosen't actually shoot at me if i get one
- FloppyLlamaDigg, on 11/06/2007, -4/+29It's my sex-box and her name is Sony!
- digggggggggg, on 11/06/2007, -3/+27This is one of those few commercials that actually makes me want to get off work right now and go buy it.
- zehrila, on 11/06/2007, -2/+26animations are really awsome
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -4/+26Games? And I thought it didn't get any better than folding proteins!!
- zohar, on 11/05/2007, -1/+23There are people out there who actually don't like Halo.
- Adgeman, on 11/03/2007, -1/+18I think that's the point.
- danasghar, on 11/06/2007, -5/+22and if you could it would probably look better....plus ill take KillZone 2 anyday of the week over Halo 3. And yes I own Halo 3. And Yes Ive beaten the game. And yes I own a 360. And yes I just got the Red Rings of Death. And yes I own a PS3.
- SwedishNinja, on 11/02/2007, -1/+17Freudian slip?
- ZenMojo, on 11/02/2007, -3/+182006 called, they want their meme back.
- Jargonaut06, on 11/06/2007, -1/+16The concept is: PS3 has gorgeous eye candy. Good enough for me!
- celestial, on 11/06/2007, -6/+21where is the footage of historical giant crab battles?
- knowitman, on 11/06/2007, -1/+16You forgot the fact that every console is defective.
- mywhitenoise, on 11/06/2007, -1/+16$5 billion in the hole.
Countless game delays
No motion controls (which is actually a good thing, but whatever)
Yeah, you're so much more superior. - jacksons98, on 11/06/2007, -1/+15Wasn't it $499 and you got yourself a deal last year, then $399, now you want it for $300. Just get one already. :)
- Kitsun, on 11/06/2007, -2/+16Dugg for "Sony Gets Head"
- samdu, on 11/06/2007, -0/+14Couldn't play Halo or Halo 2 on a PS2 either. Your point is?
- chriskzoo, on 11/06/2007, -2/+14Despite me not using the motion control, I love the controller twisting behind the warhawk after the BOOM!
- danasghar, on 11/06/2007, -2/+14Or they could have taken their competitors route and had every one of their consoles rushed and come out defective. Enjoy your Red Rings of Death if you own a Xbox, or waving your arms around for every game if you own a Wii.
- ApokalypseNow, on 11/06/2007, -1/+13and while in "the Game", no less!
- writh3n, on 11/02/2007, -2/+14I have a ps3, my room mate has a 360. We tend to play more ps3 games ( I have more money and buy more of them ), but neither of us are big fans of the motion controls a majority of the time. The motion controls on the new ratchet and clank are fun and appropriate, if you want a good game to judge where the console could and should go it is that game.
- Ndiggnation, on 11/03/2007, -4/+15I thought it was totally XXXXtreme, bro!
I have to get back to my sk8board dood.. - NightVortez, on 11/06/2007, -0/+11Both FFVII and Ace Combat are Playstation 1 games, those are fully compatible with the 40gb PS3....
- inactive, on 11/06/2007, -3/+14they need to put a tekken 6 clip in there along with mgs
sick ad though - tadhgisaledgend, on 11/06/2007, -1/+12that would be the coolest way to die, or a sexual explosion
- jacksons98, on 11/06/2007, -2/+12Wow, I actually watched it twice. Nice job, finally showing the games :)
- lcmatt, on 11/02/2007, -5/+15Always been a PC gamer but over the last few weeks I've been looking at getting a 360, however with the recent price drop the PS3 might just end up taking my cash.
- ausfahrt, on 11/06/2007, -1/+11A million dollar sexual explosion.
- tadhgisaledgend, on 11/06/2007, -1/+10LIKE ME!!!! I played through the whole story on a high def TV and was, as always, unimpressed with the so-called next gen brick :(
- mywhitenoise, on 11/06/2007, -1/+10go on sony style and get the $100 off when you get their card.
- chronichyjinx, on 11/06/2007, -2/+11Reminds me of commercials that ended with a "Quiet, it's thinking...."
- santasing, on 11/06/2007, -0/+9I think its more like with all the PS3 bashing going on, its nice to see something that is fun and on a positive note. Lots of people see that and are excited about it.
- penneyisok, on 11/02/2007, -4/+13This already made the homepage 2 hours ago AND was a direct link to the Playstation blog with the videos...
http://digg.com/videos/gaming/New_PS3_TV_Ad_Campai ... - 80hd, on 11/02/2007, -0/+8You know you know HTML when you can write how to write HTML in HTML
- Jakerius, on 11/06/2007, -2/+10Hey, if he's still on the phone, tell 2006 he owes me eight bucks.
- inactive, on 11/02/2007, -2/+10Holy crap actually good ps3 commercials
- mythicflux, on 11/06/2007, -4/+12Keep in mind that the PS3 has actually keyboard and mouse support in game. As opposed to the 360 only supporting keyboard and mouse for the dashboard. UT3 for the PS3 will support a USB keyboard and mouse for network game play.
