Then whats the problem? I could see bitching if they showed a game or two that was only on the 360 or on the Wii, or hell if they showed the 360 version of the game instead of their own, but they are advertising THEIR system, they can show whatever they want provided it's available on their system.

You do realize the PS3 has only been out a year, and sold pretty much what the 360 sold in its first year, right?
You also realize that the 360 didn't have their epic games until almost a full year after the console release, right?
Delusions of grandeur that Sony will just up and die because of their internet buddies who influence the poor malleable minds. They aren't going to disappear any more than Microsoft or Nintendo.
The 360 is fine. The Wii is fine, and the PS3 is fine too. In fact, most people who bitch about the PS3 have never played one or don't know someone who does. So really you just have a bunch of misinformed goons who spout of simply because of some strange subconscious desire to "***** the man"... while at the same time, most, if not all of them, own a PS2.

- BuddyDoQ, on 11/17/2007, -8/+19I gotta say, a year ago I would have never even considered the PS3. I had my 360 and the outlook with Gears of War was good. Then, a lack of good solid games in the genres I like such as fighting, action/rpg and platformers really started to kill the consoles play time. It's to the point where I didn't even bother to renew Live. My Wii slowly took over, but never took off beyond Zelda, RE4, and Sports. The new Mario will in no doubt cure what ails me this month. However, the PS3 is starting to look like the HD console for me, at least as long as they keep up games that *look* as fun as R&C and Uncharted. (I say look, because I've never even seen a PS3 in person, much less played one) This momentum Sony is bragging about may not be all fluff and stuffing, they're actually starting to appeal to the gamer in me, and if they can do that for me, they can for others as well.

PlayStation 3 121K - openartist, on 11/17/2007, -2/+11I'm no fanboy, I skipped the last generation of consoles entirely but I just bought a PS3 today on ebay at a discount. I agree that the fanboyism out here is so thick I sometimes can't stand it. I like to read the articles though, just to see how the console is doing and how it's faring in the marketplace. If I had tons of cash I'd buy a Wii too, just for Zelda, completely and utterly for Zelda and all other Zelda games. What made me get the PS3? The Blu-ray, I can toss linux on it (I think that's neat :), and at the moment a few games. Here's my list:
1) Everyday Shooter - this is an amazing little game and I hope more are made like this. I dig retro gaming.
2) Final Fantasy - I'm an aging player now from the NES days, but I gotta play the next one.
3) Little Big World - looks like a lot of fun

I could just assume there are no good games on the 360 either, since I don't have one and have therefore never played any of the games.

I have the wii, and I tried playing mario galaxy (the only wii game I currently feel like playing) with my friends and there like GROW UP. It has the staying power that the Xbox 360 and Wii could never dream of. It was made this way and for that reason in mind. Without the titles it seems like it's failing but It really wont, one more year and it will pick up and eventually will be "The" console like it's father, the PS2.
The XBox-360 has already reached its peak basicly. A few developers have complained about small disk sizes and memory. It has the games right now but as time moves on and the developers crave more power for their masterpeices, they will be knocking on PS3s door.
The Wii will last a very long time, not because of technicological power but innovation. Developers are going to find lots of fun things to do with the Wii and Wii games, no matter the graphics. The fact that the Wii is the most family friendly is also going to keep it in the race for a very long time.
This is my opinion, and I think it is pretty much how this console war is going to play out. Your right thumb just sits idly on the side of the mouse, and your left thumb is only good for hitting the spacebar, but you could just probably hit it with your palm.
