However, it has been repeatedly reported that any future game in the series will be without Kojima-san as director... so MGS5 might just be a generic "Stylish tactical espionage game with some Metal Gear characters."

and I did forget the portable games, it's only one additional game. Portable ops + is nothing more than a collector's edition, really. Maybe a hack and slash game in the MGS universe with Raiden might be cool. If they made the combat well with all the acrobatics and sword tricks in the trailers I think it would be fun.
