- inactive, on 02/10/2008, -18/+494Biggest waste of money I've ever seen.
30 amps is completely useless. I'd even guess that so much equipment completely defeats the purpose of every piece of equipment he's got in there.
Also, for the same price, he could've had an entire house built with a custom-made acoustics room that hides all the equipment and gives better sound. He could even have an actual theater room created, with cinema type seats, professional projector and a complete THX sound setup. And then have enough money left to build a school in some third world country. - BlueSkyfish, on 02/10/2008, -2/+391Things have certainly improved since last generation

- Poltron, on 02/10/2008, -5/+169looks too cluttered to me.
- Pinkertinkle, on 02/10/2008, -19/+170Probably one of the ugliest multimedia setups I've ever seen.
- ligyron, on 02/10/2008, -11/+150My cousin won $5 million in the lottery. With it, they ensured that their kids can go to college/university, paid off the loans of relatives, gave money to all their brothers/sisters/parents, and will be able to live happily for a long time. This guy uses $6 million to set up an entertainment room. I guess different people have different priorities
- Zettabyte, on 02/10/2008, -3/+1306 Million for that...Holy jezus.
- estvir, on 02/10/2008, -2/+120Strangely, the thing I want the most from those pictures is the Nautilus model.
- zdiddy85, on 02/10/2008, -8/+110I was going to roll up in here screaming "You don't know if I'll ever see a better system!" Then I saw the pictures.
Yep, it doesn't get much better than that.. - adventflux, on 02/10/2008, -2/+84All that with 3-person seating. Tsk tsk.
- ashamedgorilla, on 02/10/2008, -4/+74If you knew what amps and speakers were actualy in the system, you wouldn't be saying that.
These pictures are from an article in Home Theater Magazine, and when I read the article, It explains how the owner didn't want to completely hide the amps because they are tube amps, and he wanted every piece of them to be seen in all their glory. The room is THX and Dolby Digital compliant, and that screen, displays in Digital 4K resolution (4096 × 1714), which is much greater than 1080i/p. And if you were to go ahead and say that that is useless, he uses the same media that movie theaters use to show digital movies, so he is using all of the pixels.

- chetanthaker, on 02/10/2008, -15/+79Get Spell Check !! Its not "multi-meadia"
- zephyr42, on 02/10/2008, -2/+61I feel weird saying this but.... that really seems excessive. I'm all for technology but really 20 thousand speakers?
- Farik, on 02/10/2008, -4/+56It's ironic that someone pointing out a spelling mistake capitalizes unnecessary words, fails to use an apostrophe for "it's" and doesn't use a period.
- EvilDoer, on 02/10/2008, -2/+54There's not a cable in sight? Anyone else find that suspect?
Look at all the amps that are in a circle around everything, there's not one cable to be found. Look at the picture on the tower speaker from behind, bottom left corner of pic (http://blog.audiovideointeriors.com/images/archive ... I see the cable jack with nothing plugged in to it. - Archon810, on 02/10/2008, -5/+56"... you will ever see".
I will ever see? You wanna dare ask again in 30 years? - shootsbooz, on 02/10/2008, -1/+52That's where the guy from the Memorex commercial lives..
- dansmeek, on 02/10/2008, -1/+50where did you get that picture of my mom's basement?
- Lutremi, on 02/10/2008, -4/+51Son of a biscuit-making trust fund whore that is a lot of speakers.
- JD52, on 02/10/2008, -7/+53This whole thing has fail written all over it. Looks to me like some ass hat had way too much money laying around and needed something to waste it on. Not to mention it looks like ***** and apparently it only seats three (plus a dog).
- oshawapilot, on 02/10/2008, -5/+496 Million! That's like, 5 Million Canadian!
(Been waiting years to be able to use that cliche in reverse...) - likeyehokwhatev, on 02/10/2008, -3/+4230 amps would be plenty useful (1 amp per speaker would give most control and absolute cleanest sound depending on quality of components), but it's a completely ridiculous idea for most. Of course, if you can blow 6mil on something like this, practicality isn't really in play :)
- DanielNielsen, on 02/10/2008, -0/+38Electric bill must be around the 6 million mark too
- Roland1232, on 02/10/2008, -0/+38Come on now. Your cousin did not win the lottery.

- samdu, on 02/10/2008, -0/+22Exactly. Who's to say that 6 mil isn't a drop in the bucket for this particular person?
- mets91, on 02/10/2008, -1/+23A lot of remotes is what that is...
