Prince of Persia Prodigy confirmed and with website?

strategyinformer.com — Recently snooping enthusiasts uncovered the trademarking of 'Prodigy' for the Ubisoft platforming franchise. Now according to the Ubisoft forum community a mysterious website has emerged which users were taken to after visiting the suspected official sites address.

    As for this new game.. anybody know what consoles (next gen?, PC?) it is on?

  • dygel, on 04/25/2008, -0/+2Do bear in mind that the Sands of Time saga is complete, and the official word from Ubisoft prior has been that the Prince of Persia franchise will continue, but it's not going to be the same game mechanic. What the new saga will be? We dunno yet.

    I have faith though. I loved the trilogy (despite the frantic nu-metal flailings of Warrior Within) and I feel quite confident they feel all the pressure they should of doing a follow-up AND reinvention of a popular franchise.

    Mechner was always ahead of his time. I loved "Karateka", which predated PoP by years.

    No, we just want to play a good game, that just so happens to be set in a different gountry.
