Also, I hope they hurry up and release 2.4 soon. I just got my PS3 5 days ago, and while I really love it as a media device, as a gaming console, it's really lacking in a lot of areas compared to my 360. No easy way to see which friends are online or access messages, I can't figure out how to check how much of my HD space is left, the menu isn't very simple or user friendly. I do love the PS3 and I'm glad I got it, but it feels so stripped and hard to figure out compared to how the 360 and Live and the blades are laid out.
If a friend logs on in the 360, press the Xbox button and you go right to their gamercard to send messages, see what they're doing, send invites, etc. When my friends log on PS3, I need to stop what I'm doing and quit to the menu to send a message. No easy way to do invites.

All stupidity aside, the console world is one huge circlejerk of recycled/improved upon ideas. Do you make fun of Microsoft for copying the basic controller design that has been used for years instead of innovating?
MS revolutionized the social aspect of gaming with achievements. If you don't think other consoles are going to jump on that, you're insane. Just like 360 is planning on introducing "avatars", their version of the Mii.

Unless they somehow bring PS2 or official homebrew application support I don't see any reason for lookoing forward to PSP updates.
