- chocobomog, on 10/19/2007, -21/+121One or two comic submissions every few weeks is okay, but this is the third Penny Arcade comic to be submitted in the last week. We don't need a new submission every time Penny Arcade is updated.
If you want to read Penny Arcade, new comics are posted on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If you want to comment on their webcomics, use their forums. Otherwise, quit spamming digg with every new update. It is not like they need the extra traffic (although wanging them is pretty funny). - xerus, on 10/10/2007, -12/+50Good thing I have digg to tell me about Penny Arcade otherwise I would have never heard of it.
- stenk, on 10/10/2007, -4/+35At least it doesn't give you kittens!
- thebaron2, on 10/10/2007, -5/+22If people digg it they digg it, simple as that. There are obviously more people who liked this and chose to digg it than those who are as pissed off as you that it takes up an extra line on the front page.
Digg is run by the masses - can't have your cake and eat it, too. - Harrison88, on 10/10/2007, -6/+22I don't think Penny Arcade likes the PS3.
- indiephoenix, on 10/10/2007, -3/+17There's a big difference between a site such as Penny Arcade that only posts one new comic three days a week and the sites you listed that may post 20+ articles in the course of one day. Heaven forbid you actually like content from multiple sites like that. Even with an RSS reader, odds are you're going to miss out on something possibly interesting facing numbers like that.
- mywhitenoise, on 10/10/2007, -2/+14Actually this game needs a blu-ray disc, since that's what it shipped out on.
I'm all for blu-ray being the new storage disc medium, but I don't think this game really needed all that space for all the extra videos and audio languages. I'm pro-PS3, and I think they could have added a few more hours to it. - revenge7, on 10/10/2007, -5/+16It's made by [major tech company]. That's [major tech company] - the pro-DRM, RIAA backing, rootkit installing company, in case you forgot.
- mywhitenoise, on 10/10/2007, -5/+16How dare you insult Wageslaven! He is our Savior, our Jesus Christ. Microsoft is our God!
I'll throw in the sarcasm tag just to be safe. I don't want anyone to think i'm associated with that douche. - NeoCortex, on 10/10/2007, -4/+14I've never played heavenly sword, yet I still get it.
- Dustin00, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10In a move to extend the gameplay and advance the tie-in value of buying both Heavenly Sword and Lair, Sony will anounce that Heavenly Sword will give you puppies, which will then interact with the kittens for days and days of fun!
- Otto, on 10/10/2007, -4/+13You don't like this digg. Okay. We get it. Bury it and move on.
Just please stop spamming the comments pages with "this digg sux" and move the ***** on. Seriously, if you don't like it, then why in the hell would you take the time or effort to comment and say that you don't like it?
FFS! - Sairynn, on 10/10/2007, -9/+17Penny Arcade likes games, and thus there's not much for them to like about the PS3.
- SimianSamurai, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Network television would KILL Penny Arcade's humor.
Do we really want more "Friends"?!?! - staticneuron, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8Disc space doesn't really mean longer game. But I am going to point out again subtle bias again. I was dugg down before in another article and most likely will be dugg down again. But many reports came and said that the game was 6 hours. I have never seen so many people say that any game under 10 hours is a waste of money. I beat gears of war in roughly 7 and a half hours. Halo 2 in 6. Sotc in 8. MGS2 in 9. and the list goes on and on. Some of the greatest games I have played have been under 10 hours and I do not see how ragging on one without ackknowledging the shortness of the other greats doesn't make you biased.
- Cyber_Akuma, on 10/10/2007, -4/+10Right, their bashing of the original Halo and making fun of the size of the Xbox was purely in MS's best interest.
- Pilot85, on 10/10/2007, -9/+15I've never played heavenly sword, so i don't get it.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6PS3 is the most lax DRM console there is.
Not only does it let you copy movies/music/photos to and from it's harddrive, usb devices, CD/DVD/BR discs, and network shares, but you can download games to up to 5 systems, download PS1 games to 5 PSPs, use your own harddrives in it, but it has no territorial lockout either.
PS3 is far more DRM friendly (or rather, userfriendly) than the 360, Wii, PS2, XBOX, Gamecube, and pretty much every system before it. - zengonzo, on 10/10/2007, -9/+14I'm amazed that after all this time on Digg people still take issue when content they don't like seeing makes it to the front page.
- shinythingy, on 10/10/2007, -11/+15Whats your excuse for hating on the PS3 24/7?
- DangerMouse9, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6So none of the other companies can do any wrong in your eyes? I love how one facet of the company determines how the entire company is.
Person 1: "Oh, didn't you know that Sony BMG sued someone that downloaded their music?"
Person 2: "Yeah, I'm not buying any Sony games."
Person 3: "What the ***** does their music department have to do with their gaming department?"
Person 1 and 2: (together) "You *****, don't you know anything. Sony is TEH EVAL! THEY EAT KITTENS!!!11!!1!"
Go support Microsoft for stealing software and charging exorbitantly high prices for their bloatware. But then again, you can separate Vista from the 360...bunch of hypocritical morons.
- Cyber_Akuma, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Test it and get back to us.
- zengonzo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Why does it matter?
- DangerMouse9, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3He probably did, but was fired for being too funny.
Not that I found what he said as funny, but you know... - thebaron2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3You can apply that argument to all of the pictures that get submitted also - they aren't NEWS, they're ***** pictures. Sometimes they're hilarious pictures, but most people interested in random pics will be browsing sites that especially cater to them.
- triplehelix, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2mrFREEZE, good lord i hope your not trying to defend microsofts position on DRM.
- Cyber_Akuma, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Quick! Everyone bury this article!
- Satanael, on 10/10/2007, -9/+11Third Penny Arcade strip in a row (I believe) that's made it to front page... It's a great webcomic and all, but lets not turn this into another fiasco like the Family Guy clips...
- mandarin, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3at least Penny Arcade has more than 1 strip a week. Have you seen VGcats ? I think its like 1 strip every 2-3 weeks.
- louiedog, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2That's like being disappointed that Heavenly Sword has the German audio on the disc. Just ignore it and you'll survive.
- spacechip, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I'm not opposed to a popular strip hitting the front page occasionally, but you're right, people shouldn't digg this stuff up just cuz they like PA, or it'd be up there every day.
- shadowcode, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4I can't remember the PS2 being 'roasted by the media'. I do remember that people were saying that the launchtitles weren't really impressive.
I'm pretty confident that the PS3 is not a failure. It just won't be #1 in Europe and the United States for quite some time, which, in the end, is something only fanbois and major publishers care about. - somesthetic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I wonder when the next penny arcade will be!
I'll be refreshing digg all night until I see it!
I'm an idiot! - Cyber_Akuma, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2The one that flew over your head.
- jwiegmann, on 10/10/2007, -4/+5rule 1 of the internet: as long as they have a forum to do it, people will bitch
- cdgrocott, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2See that button above the shift key on the left side of the keyboard? Press it. Thank you.
- Mrstupid7, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I don't know enough about Heavenly Sword, but don't Gears of War and Halo 2 have strong multiplayer components? If MGS2 was beat in 9 hours that's just sad though.
- allisonaxe, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3would people stop spamming penny arcade? its pretty much guaranteed that we all already know what it is, and most of us even already read it.
- CReyes4182, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Theres like 5 maybe 6 shield puzzle's in this game. And its more like 7 hours since the final boss is cheap as hell. But that being said the game has allot of polish, many unlockables, and a much harder mode that you unlock once you beat the game. Plus the story is amazing and the last stage is almost worth the $60 by itself.
- jupaneanu, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Three little drawings can say so much...But skipping the irony, Heavenly Sword is a great game.
- panzergeist, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Heavenly Sword isn't an RPG either, so it's safe to say that either you don't know what genre the game really belongs to, or I missed your point. Or both.
- NiteMayr, on 11/06/2007, -0/+1This is weeks on now, but what IS it then?
- swrostmore, on 10/10/2007, -7/+7what humor?
- Urusai, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Is it like Loose Change?
- Fhwqhgads, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1bury this comment too for ***** on my "moment".
lol - xboxing, on 10/10/2007, -12/+12They spend too much time trying to get down MS's pants, that's why.
But about the whole everyone bashing the PS3 because its the thing to do, what I say is... it all goes in circles. It's like when I first bought the original Xbox and everyone thought I was nuts to not get a PS2... the tables have turned and now Sony is the Apple of yesterday (I went through all the scrutiny for years with that)... they're the minority. I own a PS3 and 360 and I just take it with a grain of salt... my PS3 rocks and that's all that matters... Warhawk anyone? Sony will have their day again... some day. - Cyber_Akuma, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1flsxghztlsxrox Am I doing it right?
- Cyber_Akuma, on 10/10/2007, -5/+5Purposely leaving audio uncompressed then bragging how much space it takes up dosen't help convince me the space of blu-ray was required for this game either.
- cquilliam, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2There needs to be a new category that includes things like this and new wine releases.
- gpv001, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2I love Penny-Arcade and have been checking their site for years. I think it is great that we can support them and just like anything else, if you don't like it, don't look at it.

What is Digg?
