Oh, you were trying to make it sound as if Sony was 'copying' something from Nintendo and that it was such a horrible thing to do? Get over it. - JayD16, on 06/27/2008, -1/+4You might as well say Nintendo ripped off Google Earth. Does Nintendo own the exclusive rights to a globe now?
- KingGoonie, on 06/26/2008, -4/+6You mean almost exactly like the Wii News channel..
- go123, on 06/27/2008, -0/+1The marketplace for this is not those of you who are glued to your PCs in the morning. The idea is a simple one...
You wake up. You have a shower. You get breakfast. You switch on the TV.
All Sony want, is that you switch on the PS3 too and get your fix of news, weather and other geo-located stuff to come via their service, whilst listening to your favourite music. It's perfectly pitched at commuters, who happen to be exactly the right demographic in terms of PS3 buyers.
It all makes perfect sense. - ButchersBoy, on 06/27/2008, -0/+1Seriously, I just got a stomping new PC. My large selection of consoles are out of vogue. There's like a gazillion news sites on the interwebs, just at the click of a mouse.
- amrush4th, on 06/27/2008, -1/+2no..its the news in HI-DEF!!!!!!!!!!!
- Trat, on 06/27/2008, -0/+0Good to let us know: your opinion matters! Why do you still use the toilet? Cant you use your PC for that too? LOL. :o)
- mattvander, on 06/27/2008, -1/+1wake me up when the news is in 3D
- ConfusedCartman, on 06/27/2008, -1/+1I use my PC more than my consoles, so being able to get the news on it would be pointless for me. I have no need for it.
