-Ninja Gaiden 2, we have Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Heavenly sword is plenty fun.
Now...We don't have Halo, but Killzone looks promising and Unreal Tournament III is coming out soon! That's plenty good. Both these games including Haze will probably give me the same satisfaction as Halo. Now to counter your fanboyism...no its my turn.

With this all said...no more arguing that Sony has nothing...the future looks great! I truly wish I could have some of those great 360 games, but Sony's taking plenty care of us...its just taken a year for them to do it! Had my PS3 since launch, I love it...but I will admit I could of probably waited until 2008 to buy one. Now....here's a guestion I have for you...besides Mass Effect...tell my some amazing 360 games in 2008? (Slightly) less negative press, and a strong lineup of games, with some system sellers in the pipeline. The massive PS2 fanbase (especially me) is just waiting for the signal to buy, rather than holding off altogether. Sony just needs to give them some good reasons, and it's happening soon.

I suspect some of the features that make Xbox Live so appealing may be repurposed (read "borrowed") for use in the Home environment. Sony could choose to push achievements with a points system which can be redeemed towards upgrades for users homes and avatars. Depending on how it's implemented it could turn out to be the perfect counter to Xbox Live. Especially if Sony stays with the free mentality.

Uncharted is nothing like Tomb Raider. The developers even said in an interview that the ONLY similarity is that they are both treasure hunters, and that it plays more like Gears of War.
Haze does look very interesting. You'd have to be an FPS hater or a fanboy not to think so. For christs sakes it's made by the Goldeneye/PerfectDark/Timesplitters/SecondSight guys. Like in the past I could expect Sonic games on the Sega and the kind of gameplay those games brought with them, and the same can be said for Mario games and later Sony games like Crash Bandicoot. I mean back when SNES was still around I expected hordes of RPGs and adventure games to come out on it while the Genesis had more violent games like Mortal Kombat (with blood and not sweat). I know it's not as viable for businesses looking to make a decent profit today but I guess it gives me and maybe others more to look for when a new console is released...I mean now a days why bother with three consoles when you know all the games for one will be on the others.

It's not about the short term, in the long run you make more profit by spending money on an advertising campaign to sell more product rather than save that money and sell far less product.

Fifty bucks saves you from having to buy a live subscription to play online, saves you from buying aa batteries for your controller, gets you a hard drive that is twice as large, gets you wifi networking, and gets you a bluray player. The 80gb PS3 ($500) is placed to compete with the 360 elite ($450).

- KrustyTClown, on 11/06/2007, -0/+7You my friend are misinformed. I'm really not tried to be biased here, the 360 is great if you don't include hardware failures. Fact is, the PS3 is not selling poorly. Rember to look at sales world wide. It is doing great in Aulstralia, europe is picking up, and the U.S. will do the same. Once again, the PS3 is selling just as well as the 360 was at this point in it's life and with strong competition. The 360 had no competition it's first year yet it's sales were no better.

It has been really rough, this was the first console I bought right at launch (60GB) but the games released have been ramping up. I remember when it was months before an awesome title or something interesting was coming out. Now I'm buying a game once a month (twice this month). November is going to be nice as well. Really want to get my hands on Uncharted.

Something doesn't have to be original to be good, especially in the case of what we're talking about here. Sometimes it's just better to stick with something tried and true, not everything has to be revolutionary.
