- mywhitenoise, on 07/08/2008, -1/+10I don't think he's making a crack at the MGS4 install time (hell, pretty much EVERY game on PS3 requires installation except for Uncharted, and small ones for Ratchet, Resistance, Warhawk, and Motorstorm). DMC4 is the one with the insane install time (around 25 minutes).

The only thing I'll use ingame XMB for is messaging, which I've used a ton already with 2.40. My system didn't lock up with the update.

It's so annoying having to wait for the controller battery charge to disappear just so you can see what time it is. Anyway I hope they fix it and move the bloody clock somewhere else.

Warhawk and Burnout Paradise are adding patches shortly and a bunch of upcoming games will be featuring them. Some studios are choosing not to retroactively support them (Call of Duty 4, Ratchet and Clank, Resistance).
