Most are crap, and NetFlix or Torrents have me covered when I really want to see something. Bluray isn't what makes a good console. It is what makes a good movie player. 2. Online - So far, nothing beats XboxLIVE. Period. No if and asses about it. With the new NXE, it's even better.

Also the dual shock controller was, at it's inception, the single greatest controller in gaming history; the 360 has it beat though.
Either way, PC gaming is where it's at.

I am very jealous of GoW2 and Left 4 Dead, although that is all I can come up with after scanning this wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360_exclusives However, comparing it to this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:PlayStation_ ... shows that 360 exclusives do outnumber PS3 exclusives by 57 games, so the winner is indeed the current XBox.

Live is what you would expect from a pay-to-play service, and PSN is what I would expect to get for free. Live, while more polished, would be useless to me as I would refuse to pay the tax necessary to play. This seems a bit subjective.

Not sure where you get that, but perhaps you could try factoring in online play, which I seem to remember a lot of talking heads saying was essential to this generation of consoles, and even a few bashing my beloved GameCube for lacking last generation. I guess so, but I don't own an HDTV yet, and I didn't spend $500 on a gaming console to watch movies. I am a gamer. I spent $500 to play MGS4, and don't get me started. (***** nanomachine *****! and who wrote the script? ***** hell! I am sure SURE she just said the same thing twice, like right in a ***** row!)
Right now, the XBox 360 has the better line up of games, and that is what matters most in a game console. In case you haven't guessed, I own a PS3 and that is all. I am not a fanboy and I don't need my console to be "the best," ranked such based on arbitrary or subjective merits. I bought it for MGS4, which is the first MGS game to disappoint me, but that is another topic all together. I mean goddamn nanomachines cannot be the explanation for your whole ***** plot and further the dialogue is... sorry where was I? Ah yes, I am currently enjoying a slew of other titles, which I believe are all cross-platform, and saving up for LittleBigPlanet and Resident Evil 5. C'est la Vie!
Oh yeah, and SPOILERS, if you can consider that mess of a plot to be spoilable...
Oh, and one last thing, I have no idea where that was going, if it got there, or what possessed me to write it. I just hate that we have to do this ***** every generation. The PS3 has better media codec support. With both systems you can plug an external HD in and watch movies off it. With the PS3 more of those movies will likely work.

- burchie2, on 11/20/2008, -18/+34i used to love ps3, bought it with my roommates last semester. but i sold it over the summer. in my new place we have a 360 and it kicks ass. right now we dont even have an hd t.v. so graphics don't even really matter...most games run better on 360 and the exclusives are as good...plus live kicks ass...i really can't justify ever buying a ps3 again espescially with the 360 as cheap as it is...
