- goldenhearted, on 05/13/2008, -4/+33It's pretty amazing to see this trailer considering that the MGS experience has always been a one of a kind thing due to its "movie-like" quality that while you enjoy the gameplay, watching the cinematics can be quite a sight to behold with its content and engrossing storytelling.
When I played MGS2 for the first time and the words "The Hudson River, two years ago..." played out, it was a sign to the shape of things to come in a gaming experience.
Simply, playing a MGS game is like sitting on a couch with your favorite drink in your hand while being comfortable as possible. Have you ever seen Saving Private Ryan? Speilberg's hand-held camera style, washed out colors (but emphasizing reds) and overexposed light have basically defined the look of gritty war films and games ever since it came out. Gears of War = Saving Private Ryan.

- volacide, on 05/13/2008, -0/+3Needs work but there is definitely potential. Balance is the largest issue I feel. The way people can zap you and slash you is utterly ridiculous. Especially since they seem to be able to do it from so far away.
