- Player1, on 12/22/2007, -1/+6Call me crazy, but I'm literally buying a PS3 only so I can play this game. Not because it looks fantastic (although it does look great), but because I've developed a relationship with this series. I first played Metal Gear Solid on my Playstation 1 when I was eight. MGS2 was the first game I purchased on my PS2. Metal Gear 3 was amazing (and more so when I went out and bought Subsistance a couple months later). I'm so in love with the story line that I've even played VR Missions and Ghost Babble (the latter being awful). I have to beat this game. I need that closure.
- axis, on 12/22/2007, -1/+5...7 months ago, in preparation for this. I am an avid Metal Gear fan and cannot wait until this comes out. The delays are disappointing, but I have waited long enough, I can wait a few more months so it can be perfect. Then I got the surprise that was Uncharted, which stands up there with Metal Gear Solid as my favorite video game.
