After the disappointments of Lair and Heavenly Sword, there eventually had to be a PS3 game that did live up to the hype. Then again, Kojima has too much pride to allow it to suck.

If you like First person shooters, then the xbox has more than enough.
If you like simple games to play with friends, then I'd say nintendo.

I must say the missions where you have to use the SixAxis to aim the arrows into targets has got to be the most fun I have had in a long while, and as for MGS4 I'm already playing The Twin Snakes on the GameCube to brush up on my stealth skills lol

The 360 games that interest me are Mass Effect and Gears of War, no wait, Gears is comming to PC, with added content, and Mass Effect is a Bioware game, like all of their previous games that'll come out on PC too, with additional content and better graphics. Yup, not a thing on the 360 that I want that I can't get elsewhere.
Halo doesn't count, FPS games on consoles are meer shadows of the giants the PC has. Resistance on the PS3 was utter garbage compared to what's on offer for PC gamers, and Haze will probably suck just as much. For a PC gamer, the PS3 and the Wii offer the best coverage of games. Honestly I was amazed at the level of excellence Ninja Theory hit. My only complaint was what most have heard, it really was a bit too short. If it has been twice as long? Game of the year.

Certain people need the dots connected for them and this is one of the reasons alot of mainstream reviewers would not consider game as an art because they don't want to pay that much attention wile some gamers seem to have the inability to do so.

Motorstorm, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Resistance Fall of Man, and Heavenly Sword are all good games that are exclusive to PS3. Most of the other games I'm interested in are multiple platform titles. For me the only Xbox exclusive that makes me think of buying the console is Ace Combat 6.

All of his articles seem to have digs in them and yet he is gushing with praise in this one..... he still had to get a few in though. Sessler from G4, also seems to dislike the PS3 was all over himself about LBP. It is about games. What is even stonger about these two situations it shows that the moniker of killer app doesn't work for the PS line. Everyone has their own title they would put on a pedastool. For some its mgs,lbp or uncharchted, and maybe for others ratchet ande clank, eye of judgement, final fantasy XIII. Maybe its a mixture of those and more. Everyone has their own unique tastes and the PS line tries to cater to most of them.

Your welcome. And there about 8 to 10 amazing exclusive games coming out for the PS3 between now and the end of the year. What makes it funny is that most multiplatform titles for the 360 seem to be timed. I guess developers aren't as sure about the 360's greatness as you are huh betterth. Not to mention install base doesn't equal sales, target audiences most likely will. The type of installed base that the 360 has will make sure that certain genre's wont tread that way..... well except for the ones microsoft has to pay to get it made. - Almadiel, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8They have announced that it comes with MGS4 (like, for free), with the possibility of standalone release later (for the five people in the world who own a PS3 and don't want to buy MGS4, yet are interested in an online version).

- nreynolds, on 10/10/2007, -10/+15don't trust the reviews on lair. The controls are actually fine, there are OTHER parts that suck, but the controls are really good. Lock-on is annoying, and sometimes you don't know what you have to do sorta (it keeps telling you to do different stuff on this one mission) but the controls are really good.

- smhTheory, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6a game (HS, wont know about gears until the pc version drops) with as much variety in its gameplay has pretty extreme replay value though, and there are MANY great 8 hour games.
