On another note, that web page alone is running up the CPU cycles in Firefox - MrFisty, on 11/05/2009, -0/+2I'm kind of used to androgyny in Japanese games by now. I just assume everyone is a man, regardless of their name, look or disposition. Avoids awkward romantic subplots.

- sgxyay, on 11/04/2009, -0/+2Why would anyone pay for, or tolerate that? Why would anyone tolerate that even without bad dubbing? Who LIKES this stuff? I used to dig JRPGs back in the 16-32 bit era, but somehow, bringing that japanese style characters and storytelling into high res and full voice acting just makes the awful parts of it way more pronounced.

- chaosblade77, on 11/05/2009, -1/+2The only reason the dub was added to that game was so they could meet Sony's guidelines. SCEA requires (or required, not sure if they do anymore) an English dub for games with voice acting. They pretty much assumed that anybody buying the game would only care about the Japanese audio, so why pay for talent?
And now the result is pretty much a monument to bad voice acting in video games. - JustinHopewell, on 11/08/2009, -0/+1The incredibly obtrusive KFC ads all over the place (one of which blocked the upper left half of the video through the whole thing) almost crashed my computer. I had to ctrl+alt+del and start the task manager just to get control of my computer again.

- themastersb, on 11/05/2009, -0/+1I got suckered into an Assassin's Creed 2 ad. I didn't know what was happening, I thought it was the actual video playing, and then all of a sudden the Assassin's Creed logo popped up with a release date and someone saying "Rated M for Mature". I feel so violated.
