When he got his own copy as a gift, he spent a month trying to pass the test in the beginning. Eventually my sister called me to secretly pass it for him when he was out of the house.

  • Scratkiller, on 10/20/2008, -1/+12I absolutely agree, I was about 13 when I first played Oddworld, and I swear it is the most obscure game I ever played, it disturbed me for life but I couldn't get enough of it. It defiantly stood out among an otherwise stale set of regurgitated games. On a different note, I hated the Spyro series with a passion, what a waste of money!

    Seriously, Driver tutorial = one of the dumbest decisions in gaming history

    "Hey, let's make a tutorial where the player is required to pass it in order to start the actual game. Not only that, but let's put a strict time limit on it at well! Screw the 'pick up and play' philosophy, only the elite shall be able to play the actual game!!!"

    The cutscenes are better than some games nowadays- and they rendered these in 1997?!

The real challenge came at the very end, when you have to transport the president all the way across New York City with the felony meter on max and the police and secret service after you. That was one of the hardest video game levels I have ever played.
