- Reap, on 06/04/2008, -16/+67Wow... this is something like the 4th story of MGS4 I've seen where there are a bunch of people going basically "wow, so this magazine gave it a perfect score? Big surprise, they're a massive corperate whore, I'm gonna hate the game and therefore everyone else should agree that it sucks".
All these scores say to me is that it is a very well crafted game in the style of the other Metal Gear Solids. If you didn't like the other games, please feel free to STFU and not bitch about this one being more of the same. I don't go on every article about sports games and say "OMGZ, ANOTHER basketball game? Thus no perfect scores since Xbox games don't tend to cater to Japanese tastes.

There's a reason the games that get a 40/40 get a lot of attention and are usually incredibly well regarded. - linuxrocks2007, on 06/04/2008, -4/+14Wind Waker is actually an amazing game, it's just the cartoony-like art style that sways people away. Nintendogs is hailed as being quite revolutionary as it was the game that pushed DS sales and was an innovative to use the stylus and the microphone. 40/40? Maybe not. But it's still a great game.

It was one of the first to really demonstrate good use of the Nintendo DS touchscreen, microphone and stylus. Nintendogs is also 100x better than any other game of its kind.

They decided they could not give a fair, impartial, review under the required conditions. Rumors suggest that these restrictions center around specific aspects of the game which some people are likely to find objectionable. These rumors are consistent with public statements made by the creator himself.

Because it's a PS3 exclusive, the reviewers who give it a great/perfect score (aka: Better than Halo 3, Gears of War , and Mario Galaxy, and 99.9% of games out there), the reviewers must be:
a) paid by Konami
b) Lacking all credibility.
Please, tell me digg, what review sites are actually credible, and impervious to bribes??
No! Wait! I already know! Let me guess! The only review sites to give the same a sub-90 score, EDGE magazine and Eurogamer! They stuck to Konami and their unjust review conditions! No game can be good if those conditions are in place to "protect" it! right?
