- Kratisto, on 10/11/2007, -23/+117Hey look, a mouse and a Wii nunchuck. I prefer my keyboard any day.
- qwertylicious, on 11/06/2007, -11/+87All that it needs now is a bunch of good FPS games...
- Topher06, on 10/11/2007, -15/+75Is it me, or am I the only one that sees a mouse and a nunchuck controller?
- MadMastaZ, on 10/11/2007, -17/+65It's a black Wiimote.
- yargthepirate, on 10/11/2007, -21/+58Buried as inaccurate for describing a mouse + Wii nunchuk combo as "innovative".
- imomushi8, on 10/11/2007, -9/+35um... hell freaking yes?!!
...although "splitfish fragfx" isnt really something that rolls off the tongue... - CReyes4182, on 10/11/2007, -39/+61Holy Sh*t that looks freakin sweet!
- ryansmith18, on 10/11/2007, -28/+48Too bad it's for the PS3. :-/
- HBNDonut, on 10/11/2007, -11/+31You're kidding, right? You do realise it's just a mouse and half a control pad?
I was expecting some kind of crazy gun shaped control pad... The majority of people who are going to like this idea is PC gamers. Who the hell wants to play CONSOLE games at a desk with a mouse? - Itazura, on 10/11/2007, -2/+20I'm gonna go ahead and throw out a wild guess that a mouse indeed is more accurate than a wiimote.
- BooChihuahua, on 10/11/2007, -11/+29LOL!!!
Just go play on your computer, you FPS numbnuts out there! - charlescheese, on 10/11/2007, -4/+21Resistance, The Darkness, MGS4, Haze, Vegas, Dark Sector (which PS3 is lead platform), Ghost Recon AWF, Jericho, Call of Duty, Killzone 2, Kane and Lynch. I could honestly keep going too. Are those the games that you think are the big suck? Seems to me there are plenty of FPS games on PS3 that will be out in the next few months, starting with the darkness and Vegas today.
- YouRookies, on 10/11/2007, -6/+23True, because the 360 has nothing but FPS.
- j4son, on 10/11/2007, -4/+17Great, but do they make one for lefty?
- Bootes, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13or Unreal Tournament 3!
- thedez, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12Everyone knows the left-handed aren't real people.
- DangerMouse9, on 10/11/2007, -3/+12no he didn't, there's nothing but FPSes and Sports games on the 360.
/truth - TheSaladMan, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9Why don't we find out if you blend?
- Desolite, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8... hence them being there.
no, you're right. maybe they should have put them on the console so they were completely out of the way of your hands. - yargthepirate, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Since somebody posted that an hour before you did, no.
- YouRookies, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8Mose of those games aren't even out yet. They don't count.
You Xbots say there are no PS3 games when there is a great lineup coming this fall. You can't pick and choose. - Rileyper, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8How could you forget F.E.A.R.
- BrandonMills, on 10/11/2007, -6/+12Great idea, but they need one from Sony themselves in order to ensure widespread support.
- bashar129, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6If $660 is your life savings maybe you should get your lazy ass off Digg and go get a job.
- porcupus, on 10/11/2007, -7/+13Am I the only one that thinks this thing is an ugly beast?
The wires are insane and a mouse pad that sits in your lap seems like a awkward way to use a pointing tool such as this.
Seems like you'll have to keep your legs together or sit Indian style.
Take your mouse pad put it in your lap and tell me how awesome it is.
Don't get me wrong, this is definitely a step in the right direction, but it's just a mouse nothing groundbreaking at all.
I'll stick with my gaming PC. - xtmno3, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Please allow up to 60 seconds for your comment to be saved.
- psg188, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6More words: Quake Wars, Half Life 2: Episode 2, Portal, Team Fortress 2.
I know those will be on PS3 as well... but common PC is where its at. - NinjaBoy, on 10/11/2007, -3/+8WAIT!! whats this?? PS3 news that is positive? Hell just got a little colder.
- xtmno3, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7One word: Crysis
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7I'm just praying for USB mouse/kb support from game devs in the future. The PS3 can already natively support nearly all of them, it's up to the games to let you use them.
Resistance and UT with a mouse on the ps3...mmmmm... - charlescheese, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Um...where do you want them? Don't you usually press those buttons with your thumbs?
- SilentRamble42, on 10/11/2007, -5/+10Probably the PS3 part
- bobcrotch, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4The most important thing is the mouse for aiming. Who really cares if you have another set of buttons on something else?
- mywhitenoise, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Because the PS3 doesn't have motion sensing?
I know a lot of people are going to disagree with me here, but with the few PS3 games that I have played with motion sensing, it feels more accurate than my wii remote...and the PS3 doesn't even use a sensor bar! - JTJ1210, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7Yes, a mouse will be more accurate, but I think it'd be pretty sweet to use the wiimote pointing at the screen and whatnot, making you feel like your in the game, etc. Metroid Prime 3 should be awesome, I think I'll just stick to my Wii and PC, for now at least.
- yargthepirate, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Yes, because the magic gnomes in your pocket will jump out, steal your wallet, and spend your money on one of these. I'm sure you'll get by without one.
- jrbrewin, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6looks good.. and the xbox360 definately needs one - if only because after 10 years, i'm sick of the PC upgrade struggle / cycle. that and all the PC games i'm looking forward to are coming out / already have come out on console too.
microsoft, take note. how can you allow crossplatform gamers to compete together if you don't allow keyboard / mouse / fragfx style compatibility! - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4thats a hot controller for the PS3:
http://gadgetmodels.i4u.com/gadget_photo_model_Janet-Cho-Virtua-Fighter-Babe-Hori9.html - panzergeist, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3The xbox fanboys won't care unless it's on the 360 and even then they will only acknowledge the 360 version as being any good.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4LOL! Poor people.
- tektalk, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4I kept looking at the controller and all I could think of was the Wii nunchuk painted black and tied to a mouse.
- Darksaber11, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3While I kind of agree with you, I think this is a great thing for people (like one or two of my friends) who don't really game on their computers, but like the occasional FPS game and prefer mouse+keyboard controls.
- Darksaber11, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4"I'll stick with my gaming PC"
Of course you will, but it's still good news for those people who don't *have* a gaming PC. - ho0ber, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Going out on a limb here, but I'm pretty sure anyone who has a PC and is interested in gaming already has a mouse and keyboard...
- Juntistik, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3There is one for the 360, Its called XFPS 360, its different in the sense that you plug in your own mouse and keyboard. It uses both PS/2 and USB inputs. You can also program the button layouts.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWn3XFOB9_c - Foamator, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3The funny thing is, YouFail wasn't actually being sarcastic.
- 2kude, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Are you ***** kidding? The Wii's controller is an inaccurate TV remote. (And yes, I've used one.) This is a mouse. Sorry your rabid fanboyism has blinded you.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -6/+9that's it..im getting ps3 and that badass controller
- klisejo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Yes, but there is no headset capability and their are accuracy issues. It also doesn't replicate the left analog stick. So its nothing like this.
- ihatepeterh, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5there was a ps2 version of this controller before there was a nunchuck, actually.
