- ahnonamis, on 01/18/2008, -1/+31So it's like M.C. Escher meets videogames? Awesome.
- cerealjynx, on 01/18/2008, -1/+23Wow, this looks ***** EXCELLENT.
If you agree, check out Crush on PSP, another puzzler that leaves the brain sore. - underwise, on 01/18/2008, -0/+18i think it would actually look pretty amazing on an HDTV in a minimalist sort of way
- shinythingy, on 01/18/2008, -1/+19Try on the PSP
- LLamaStar, on 01/18/2008, -4/+15holy *****...go learn about game development and shut the ***** up.
- inactive, on 01/18/2008, -6/+16Looks like it would be fun as a flash game, but I can't see myself sitting in front of my HDTV playing this.
- underwise, on 01/18/2008, -0/+9wrong.
- nhprm, on 01/18/2008, -0/+9That's very cool, but I'd like some pre-builts, instead of trying to build one and then play it.
- bugsy187, on 01/18/2008, -0/+7Have you programmed before? Things that seem simple can be extremely complex.
- Shogi, on 01/18/2008, -0/+7Very much looking forward to this, the world needs more good puzzle games.
- inactive, on 01/18/2008, -0/+7I'll just play this when I get bored of COD4 on my PS3.
- dafragsta, on 01/18/2008, -0/+5It's going to sell PS3s. No way. However, it might be the tipping point for me getting a PSP.
- JayD16, on 01/18/2008, -1/+6What I want to know is if you can buy the game and put it on both the PSP and PS3. PS1 games do this I think(never bought one) so hopefully this will set precedent for all PSP/PS3 titles.
- estat, on 01/18/2008, -0/+5In OP's defense, E3 is used to show retailers and media what is coming up this year. Not only that, but usually smaller downloadable games are announced just a few months before being released, if not weeks (even high profile stuff). Also, compared to most $60 titles, Echochrome is fairly simple.
Of course, if one was to cover the game more closely, they would note that it is Sony, and what was shown when the title was announced in E3 was mostly conceptual. In addition, I think that the devs/producers noticed the high interest in this game and wanted to take some extra time to release a better and more fleshed out product (hence the $30 price and release on PS3 and PSP). Same thing happened with littlebigplanet, probably. - Dracusis, on 01/18/2008, -0/+5If it's fun, why does it matter where you are when you play it?
A real gamer would play it in public on a huge projections screen while being nekkid save for a thin covering of raspberry jelly. - JayD16, on 01/18/2008, -0/+4Whats to know? Unlike most games you see where you a level shows up at e3 and the rest of the game is nowhere near done once you get one map working, you've got them all working.
Its not a game that needs balance tweaks or performance tweaks. Its not the average game in any way so I really don't see what you're referring to. In all seriousness, enlighten us. Its easy for you to say "you're wrong, look up why." How about something a bit more constructive to the conversation. - Dylson, on 01/18/2008, -1/+5This may very well be both systems killer app.
- inotocracy, on 01/18/2008, -0/+4This game looks trippy as all hell.
- JohnDavis730, on 01/18/2008, -0/+4ohh lord this one looks like a mind *****
- volacide, on 01/18/2008, -1/+4That's nice.
- StitchedUp, on 01/18/2008, -0/+3"Oh no! Did I hit crazy stairs?"
- joshuabowers, on 01/18/2008, -0/+3I think that would probably make the game even weirder than it already looks.

- Zap2, on 01/18/2008, -0/+3awsome..one eagerly awaited PSP game!
- Typhoon2009, on 01/18/2008, -1/+4I think I'll get it on PSP.
- FoxFaction, on 01/18/2008, -4/+6I love the whole concept of holes and gaps not being there if they aren't directly visible. Its the perfect American game!
- cthellis, on 01/18/2008, -0/+2Hot. I'm a big fan of Crush, and Echochrome looks amazing. I've been waiting for a while. ^_^
- projjalc, on 01/18/2008, -0/+2No, the PSN version will be a downloadable game designed specifically for PS3 while the PSP version will be your standard PSP UMD game. You'll have to buy each separately, of course. So far, it's only been PS1 games that you can buy and play on both platforms.
- Zamfir, on 01/18/2008, -3/+5Perhaps you should smoke some weed?
- cthellis, on 01/18/2008, -0/+2If it's available on both platforms straight off, chances are it will work on both. I haven't seen any official confirmation yet, however.
- Starbond, on 01/18/2008, -0/+2This one looks pretty good. After reading about it for a long time, I would be willing to give it a try.
- hypnosmurf, on 01/18/2008, -0/+2this reminds me of a game for ps1 called "roll away"
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41C1KZGY6ZL. ... - JudgeMonkey, on 01/18/2008, -0/+2Your link looks like crap (I see you have been spamming it, I didn't visit the link)
So, why don't you eat ***** and rot in hell?
I'm gonna go check out your comment history and digg a bunch of your comments down, I have some spare time. - estat, on 01/18/2008, -1/+3FINALLY. Been awaiting this since E307.
- dafragsta, on 01/18/2008, -1/+3I don't know why you are getting dugg down. It should be called "United States Federal Government"
- inactive, on 01/19/2008, -0/+2I play flash games while I have a few minutes to spare, usually when I don't have access to a PS3. If I'm playing a game on my PS3, it's not going to be something simple like this. That's what flash games are for.
- JagoX, on 01/20/2008, -0/+2Great...but where the hell is Wipeout HD? That game was supposed to come out in Decemeber...and I'm still waiting for it. :-(
- diversionmary, on 01/18/2008, -1/+2It'd be like looking into a lightbulb, I'd have to turn the tv's brightness way down.
- plr4ever, on 01/18/2008, -0/+1I know, i read exactly that on another post.
I am what I am - IronScimitar, on 01/18/2008, -0/+1I've been looking forward to this since GDC last year.
- inactive, on 01/19/2008, -0/+1mmmmm . . . .raspberry
- Tomson74, on 01/18/2008, -1/+1ummm ok, so I need to get my bong rdy, for this?
- JayD16, on 01/18/2008, -4/+4Well the engine is simple so I guess they spent ages on level design.
- AndrewDB, on 01/18/2008, -8/+6Play it for free people, don't buy it:
http://tserve01.aid.design.kyushu-u.ac.jp/~fujiki/ ... - nhprm, on 01/18/2008, -9/+3I would love to have a DS version of the game
- shinythingy, on 01/18/2008, -9/+2I can't help but feel that i would get pissed off after about 15 mins and end up with a smashed PSP or a SIXAXIS sticking out of my TV
- inactive, on 01/18/2008, -14/+2Uhhh, yeah. I think I'll stick with COD4 on Xbox if you don't mind.
- mywhitenoise, on 01/18/2008, -21/+5Why does it take so long for these simple games to be released? Wasn't this announced back in July?
- nymphetamine, on 01/18/2008, -25/+2Japan only :(
