Playing Guitar Hero is not some substitute for playing an actual guitar. It is a completely different activity, with different skill sets required, and different goals and outputs. If you're talented at Guitar Hero, you would probably be more talented at piano, drums, or even something dumb like a flute rather than a guitar.

*****. Flute is arguably the hardest woodwind outside of an oboe to truly play well. The minute amount of detail required in embouchure and air control to create a perfectly pitched sound is insane.
