- Paroparo, on 11/14/2007, -1/+2The 360 managing to outsell absolutely anything in Japan was a historical first. Everyone knows it was only due to a price drop and a big game, but not many people were expecting it.
The PS3 having a spike like this after a huge price drop is hardly a surprise to anyone. It'll be news if if the big black box can keep up with numbers like this for more than a few weeks, and if sales stabilize to more than 150% of pre-price drop levels. - triplehelix, on 11/14/2007, -1/+2digg me down if you must, but if you look at my profile, you'll realize i'm a ps3 fan. fan, not fanboy. thats why i think this is great, i know its only a drop in the bucket, like the 360's one week success in japan.
this very well be the turning of the tide the ps3 needs, but we'll have to wait and see. - mywhitenoise, on 11/14/2007, -1/+2The Wii is only outselling the PS3 2:1 lately, everyone who wanted one in Japan pretty much has it. It hasn't been in high demand (like it is in North America) for a long time.

Or talk to me after a wii price drop when it outsells everything about 50 to 1.
