It's like there is a big PS3 shaped hole in my entertainment center that I haven't wanted to fill yet because of price and lack of games. Hows the BC for the precious xbox? whats it up to? 50 games now? Can the wii play cartridges for the N64? Why don't you quit complaining about something your console of choice is clearly worse at since my PS3 can play 99% of PS1 and PS2 games.
About the controllers, didn't MS release the S-controller after a year or so? How about the proprietary rechargable battery pack system for the 360?
How many controllers do you need for the wii? well, theres the wii-mote, and then you have to buy the nunchuk attachment, and then you have to get a classic controller, and then if you wanna play GC games descently, you're going to need one of those controllers.

- Dominatus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11Wow, this is dumb. Any film shot digitally is filmed in 1920x1080. Any movie that is filmed on actual film has a resolution effectively many times higher than 1920x1080. Either way, every movie made in recent history can take advantage of HD.

Its even better for anyone who has a spare drive laying around because they can simply buy the cheaper PS3 and already have an upgrade waiting for it. Good design choice on Sony's part.

- TKDEE, on 10/10/2007, -4/+13First off I'm not basing EVERYTHING off of an HDMI connection. I prefer the Xbox to the Playstation for games, I have a 360 I don't have a playstation. I'm saying that PS3 having HDMI 1.3 makes it fairly future proof, which is important if you want to play the best quality movies on the system. It gives you the ability to use HD audio codecs. As far as the XBox 360 goes I was just lamenting the fact that if I had an HDMI version I could get a 1080P HDDVD player for a very decent price. The 360 will play 1080P games over component, but it won't play 1080P movies. I don't really want to invest in a HDDVD player that won't let me take full advantage of my TV, and I'm not going to buy a new Xbox just to get HDMI. I'm not sure if you really got the point of my post.
