- saska, on 10/12/2007, -0/+56I don't know, but we just screwed their database server.
- mdavis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+34Poor Jack! You don't know digg!
- parax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+30In all my years of gaming, You Don't Know Jack was the most polished game I've ever played. It gave me that realistic feel of being on a game show, everything was perfectly timed and the voice was randomized enough to not sound repetitive.
Oh yeah, strange thing is I was just talking about YDKJ a couple days ago and was searching for my old discs. - txcrew, on 10/12/2007, -0/+26What happened to screwing my opponent?
- saska, on 10/12/2007, -1/+26Oh, how I loved these games. Still have a keyboard with stickers on it.
- insinuate, on 10/12/2007, -1/+23awesome. I bought all these games when they came out...me and my folks would stay up late at night playing it.
- lukas88, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Anyone remember acrophobia? Most fun i've had on the internet, ever. I know it is too much to hope that it is on there, but the server is down now anyway.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Then you don't know trivia.
- UnnDunn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16Note to Jellyvision: We need YDKJ on Xbox Live Arcade or PSN in HD, with periodic new episodes like the Netshow, stat!
Make it happen. - Charlesbian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16By god Johnny we've killed it after 35 diggs. Theres a piece of my childhood i'll never relive (tear)
- kcpwnsgman, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13@macgabriel87
no one cares about your childhood, only Charlesbian's. because his name says lesbian in it (and for Charlesbian, sorry if your last name is Bian, but when I see the word lesbian, I get completely derailed) - Gerikes, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11You can find a still-running version of Acrophobia (less flashy, but more game options) at http://www.acrochallenge.com/
- haasim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Ten years ago I won a few copies of YDKJ on some call-in radio show called Dotto on Data. And to this day, the YDKJ series remains one of my most enjoyable video game experiences. It was years ahead of its time and I can't figure out how the company (Jellyvision) faltered. I mean, how do you go from cool it-company to has-been in less than a decade? And how the hell does a video game company allow itself the embarrassment of being crushed by the Digg-effect?
- DarkYang, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10I guess they "don't know jack" about running a web server, considering how it went down so fast.
- TechnoPops, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9"Get ready for some fun! It's question number one! Oh yeah!"
"Whoop-dee-doo! It's question number two!"
"Whoooo-wee! It's question number three!" - UnnDunn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Well, it would be too much to expect them to have a full 21-question game online for free every day...
... or maybe it wouldn't. Are you listening, Jellyvision? - leobaby, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9They should bring it to the freaking XBox.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11It's time for a FLICKERPUSS TESTRUM... or it will be after the digg effect.
- tablespork, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7That's the one.
- cdf12345, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7question 4....The Question that cares....
always classic....
especially in the Movies edition, where it showed footage of the original 4 intro, then blasted into a new and improved "hollywood style" intro with a bigger shinnier 4, and the line "The question that still cares"
Classic.
I love you jellyvision! - punk90, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Page wont load, but is this that one game with the bald guy and people talk ***** to you when you get answer wrong?
Cause I loved that game! - tastypastry, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Ever say ***** You as an answer multiple times?
- kingfrank, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Site's not down, but it has taken me at least 10 minutes to load 85 percent of the game. Hope it's worth it.
- tastypastry, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I recall the announcer telling me that they have complete control over my computer and then restarting it.
- shockingbird, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5"Black cat, heart attack, do you nightmare when you dream, it's question thirteen, oh yeah!"
- SgtQuackers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I Love this game. I used to spend hours just pissing off the announcer when you could enter in you own answer.
- TechnoPops, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Not exactly full games judging from the first episode, since it only goes up to 7 questions, with the Jack Attack as the last one, and a Dis or Dat thrown in the middle. The musical interludes are still there, though. Just figured I'd clarify that for y'all.
- Jerryskid02, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Did anyone else used to have the little "intro songs" for each numbered question memorized from the old games? ...anyone? No? ..just me? okay then.
- pennstatephil, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4neat little easter egg I found on this online version... if you put your mouse right on the border below the head and between the ears while it's loading (the little black area) the eyes turn red with pink flames. Fun stuff!
- mlvassallo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I'm glad somebody else has a memory of playing this game with their family- my whole family would crowd around the IBM Aptiva for YDKJ and Acrophobia.
Couch Rules baby! - macgabriel87, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5i remember playing this on my performa 6116cd, the first G1 PPC.
- imtigger2, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Acrophobia was cool...
I used to LOVE playing COSMIC CONCENSUS. Anyone remember it??
Used to spend hours on end giving my opinion to climb up that pyramid. Kept getting stuck in glue, or the ion storm.
Anyone remember?
It's made a comeback, but if you can't get 4 people in a game room, it won't let you play. A guy made the game again and called it Discordi... check it out here: http://www.discordi.com/Discordi/index.shtml
Killer game, I hope it comes back to life again. Maybe some Diggers will digg it and get online so we can get the game rooms going again.
Thanks!! - cuddleparty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3tickerlish testgum!
- OmniShinzui, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I remember playing the original psx version of You Dont Know Jack Demo Disc.
- bennybertow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I also played those for many nights... And they also did a good job in translating it to German - sounded perfect. Gotta get me the English versions somewhen... A collector's edition with all sequels would be nice :)
- maaddmax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2When I was a kid I loved the Fu*^ You easter egg we discovered. When you had a question you had to type the answer to, if you put that in the announcer would go nuts and curse you out and give you -100000 points.
- humanerror, on 04/03/2008, -2/+4Their server don't know digg :(
- openyoureyes17, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i waited for it to load, and it finally did....but then it froze up.
- TwenT4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think some of us here have a strange sense of premonition... after stumbling upon the flash version of trivial pursuit last night, i was thinking how awesome it would be to find YDKJ somewhere... and now we killed it :)
- EtherGnat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1They generated some of the highest quality free online content ever to hit the web, but it had to have been expensive to produce and they weren't great on monetizing it. In many ways they were ahead of their time, in other ways they're just another dot.com bubble has been.
- ThankTheCheese, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yes acrophobia was great. I also loved Get The Picture. I really miss that game.
- InfernoBob, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2This was my entire childhood. Bought all of the games. The strange thing is, just 2 or 3 days ago, I reinstalled them for old times sake.
- acs12798, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1A few weeks ago I reinstalled this game, it played at a slightly off pace on new computers but it worked. O man did I love that game.
- UnnDunn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1They'll figure something out; after all, they had Jack on PlayStation back in the day.
- wooties, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1OH man i loved these games! This is how i got non-geeks and geeks alike to hang out way back in the day we playing this hooked up to the TV. wayyyy back in the day.
- buriedbydigg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Try http://www.interactrivia.com for a multiplayer trivia game with chat.
- Barnum, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I used to love cosmic consensus, much more than acrophobia.
I downloaded and installed that new version and what a surprise, it's completely dead, no one there. Oh well... - spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1How are you going to type?
- mdigirol, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i loved the ride and volume 3 best..... nate, cookie, and guy were easily the best hosts too
- jtull89, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1Wow, it actually did that? Crazy.

What is Digg?
