As far as I know, if Bale "roughed up" his mom and sister, he would have been charged with 'Battery'. 'Assault' in the UK could be something as simple as screaming at someone.

- jamesdew, on 07/25/2008, -1/+3i have never heard of anyone in the UK (i live in the UK) being charged with assault for shouting at someone. I do not believe shouting at someone alone is a crime in the UK. I guess you could be given an ASBO (anti social behaviour order) or be charged with disturbing the peace or something.
However assault can be extremely minor physical contact. Gently pushing someone perhaps even poking them aggressively. If you injured someone in the UK you would be charged with ABH (actual bodily harm) or GBH (grevious bodily harm).

- plant124, on 07/25/2008, -0/+1i think people are taking this game too seriously, it was made in two days and obviously does not look to be a deep game like 90% of all the web games on the internet. on the other hand it does provide you with a few minutes of fun and especially funny to see a tiny batman running all over the place. yes the laughter is not christian bale (obviously - there are copyright infringements to doing that) but at the same time it does sound like the laughter of a lunatic, like the joker. fun for what it is. obviously comedy central is not looking to make this last, it will die in a day or two.
