- Sway, on 10/11/2007, -2/+28Just yellow - green poison clouds
Just red - green poison clouds
Just blue - black explosion
Equal parts red/yellow - green poison clouds
Equal parts blue/red or blue/yellow - red explosion (better than just blue)
Equal parts all three - red flame
Two parts blue, two parts red, one part yellow - purple flames
Two parts blue, one part red, two parts yellow - purple flames
Two parts blue, five parts red, one part yellow - sticky yellow stuff (good for killing the witch, slugs and skeletons) - Zoshchenko, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13MUST...STOP...NEED...LIFE...ONE...MORE...GAME!
- ryrocker, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14this is one of the most original games ive played.
- Spectrums, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8Very Interesting game, with good "originality" concept.
- cherrick, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8I've found that the fire potions are the best. An almost exactly equal mix of all three gives the best results.
- fatham, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Its fun watching those skeletons smash into little bits.

- LexMortis, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Cool game but which potions are best?
I mostly use equal red and blue for bombs which appears to do more damage than just blue bombs. - mookiemookie, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5A touch more yellow and red than blue gives a nice sticky acid
- Alphabet, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4actually, sticky potions are the best. I used a 3 red, 3 blue, 6 yellow and have it explode in the air. It kills entire crowds, and best of all, when one monster dies, the sticky starts falling and can now stick to another monster. For witches, one direct hit + another hit will kill it. And best of all, this combination is dirt cheap. If you need more power, add a little more yellow.
- TheBarge, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3I used bombs in the first 10-15 levels then switched to fire when they started sending out all the spiders. I upped my fire to stage 2 and used it through the rest of the 30 levels.
- bickdigg, on 10/11/2007, -0/+313 30 26 is a nice economic death relay.
- SenatorPenguin, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Perhaps the 30 best story finders on this site dugg it in a period of 30 seconds. The digg algorithm that the coders spend all their time developing is not:
if (story.diggs > 60) {
story.frontpage = TRUE;
} - oneoverzero, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3the schadenfreude i get from making the worm things turn inside out is better
- Tiak, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3I find that the goo stuff (try 4 5 6 for example) works best on the witch... Other than that, it's personal prefference.
- Kutai, on 10/11/2007, -0/+212 blue
9 red
4 yellow
Very cheap but effective potion, allows you to save faster for upgrades. - FuzzyCat, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2
100 58 44 = exploding red gue, potent stuff
:D - Beevo, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Haven't found a potion ratio that I'm comfortable with. Started playing with a 2/1/1 ratio but that didn't cut it for spiders. So I moved to a fire mix and my accuracy sucked to much to be any help. Then the witch came and stole my yellow mix, and nothing seemed to kill her fast. Guess I'll bookmark it and come back when I have more time to experiment.

Nice if you want to download and play offline. - jedicor, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2The vapor bomb is insanely overpowered. 1-1-3 gives you a purple vapor potion which kills nearly everything as it passes through it. Lob two in a row, wait five seconds, lob two in a row, etc. Nothing will get through below Level 10 except the large skeletons (and two more bombs kill them). This potion will essentially never run out, as one purchase per color will be enough to run 15 or 20 levels worth of monsters. You can easily upgrade your weapons without even risking losing defenses this way.
If you can't aim, use 2-2-4 (or appropriate multiples) to get the perfect acid area weapon and just burst it in the air. Spiders are very resistant to it unless you get group damage going. - trubbleshute, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3I couldn't defend the base, but my Zwinky is pretty cool.
- coreyb, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2I found 10, 16, 5 to be the best mix... but damn the stupid witch.
- Cheeze_Head, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I personally like the toxic slime ball
Upgrade the "Vial Vapors" once
set
blue to ~26
red to ~50
yellow ~12
pos: Great against witches, plus I like to explode high in the air great vs. crowds. Don't explode and it will take down any single enemy quickly.
neg: rich mixure that costs $$$ - Ungh, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Set all my potions at 60% and had great luck thru the early levels.
- HHP2K, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Fire potions are good when you need to take out a whole bunch of em at once, esp. when your wall crumbles.
- aBeardedMan, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Cool game thanks.
- aywwts4, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Good potion, but once you upgrade the explosive charge, its deals more damage, but it scatters so quickly it doesnt kill as effectively, I turned the potion down to 3.1.1 when i upgraded, that seemed to work better.
And yeah, weak against spiders and witches, but wicked against worms. - HHP2K, on 10/11/2007, -0/+113 9 4 works well and allows you to save up and get upgrades fast. If you get into trouble and the wall gets knocked down, set it to 100 100 100. It'll create a huge spread of fire that'll take care of everything pretty fast and save your ass. You should have enough money to buy more pots by then too ;)
- Hillsfar, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Early on, I found two parts blue (10), one part yellow (5) to explode well and have a very wide (sometimes killing 4 or 5 spearmen at once) ground radius effect if the potion lands on the ground - not on an attacker.
- HHP2K, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1That's the one I've been using - very effective except for the witch.
- Hillsfar, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1You're supposed to play around with different mixes because there is more than one good mix and each has a different strategy.
- planetbeing, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I just beat the game (score: 241300). There's only 30 levels. The most cost effective weapon in the early to mid game is an explosion. You should concentrate on getting the two explosion upgrades first. Potions seem the most potent when its color is pure. I use a ratio of 2:1:1 for explosions, 1:2:1 for sticky and 1:1:1 for fire. Starting at medium-level potions, you might have to add an extra point to the primary potion to get the desired effect.
Just use the explosion potion on most creatures, increasing the mixture when creatures get harder. Explosion potions seem to work the best if you aim toward the back (not the middle). For the witch, a sticky potion works the best. Usually you have to set the power of the cannon to nearly full to hit her with it. Another benefit of using sticky potions on her is that if you find that you're going to miss, just click again to detonate the potion. Some of it will get on her and that's usually enough to do the job anyway, albeit slower. Another good tip is that it's better to use too much than too little potion. If you used too little, you'll have to hit the creature again, wasting more potion than if you just used a overkill one in the beginning.
The red spiders also seem to get continually tougher, which is annoying in the end-game. However, by then money shouldn't be an issue so you can just bombard them with multiple potions if necessary.
Another effective tactic is to throw a sticky potion first and immediately follow up with a fire potion. This will turn your sticky potion into a napalm. At higher potion levels it will also seriously slow down your computer. I think there's a problem with damage calculation when your computer is slowed down, so you might end up doing LESS damage that way, so at higher levels it may be advisable to stick with a pure max level sticky potion (50-100-50) or max level fire potion (100-100-100).
At the highest levels, the explosion potion will lose its efficacy and my primary weapon became the max fire and max sticky potions. A combination of the two works pretty well on giants.
The acid vapor weapon I found to be pretty useless. - sparrowhawkes, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1The game is fun for a while, but it ends at level 42. There is no "high score." A screen pops up with "you win!" What a lame excuse for not wanting to program any more levels, heh. I used exploding potions the entire time (roughly 28-16-10) and upgraded my explosions first, then saved up for quick reload and then got wall spikes. You can upgrade other stuff (like fire) if you want, but it doesn't really matter. However, around level 26, you'll have upgraded everything to its maximum anyway, so just blow money on stupid stuff. I find that the giants are the biggest pain the butt, but I figured out that you just whip your pots at his chest straight on and that should do it. Have fun!
- cherrick, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1@Alphabet
True. I actually used sticky potions during the first levels, but I found they were too weak later on. Of course, I might be wrong since I wasn't using high mixtures and hadn't upgraded. Well, with fire I was getting multiple kills with all three colours around 50, so maybe it just comes down to play style. - Ninjaned, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1If you use the sticky acid stuff and then a fire potion, the fire will light up all the sticky stuff. Very useful on the tougher baddies.
- jedicor, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Yeah there's some sort of bug with mixing quantities. Moving the bar up or down sometimes causes the game to display one quantity while actually using another. I realized that after I replayed and couldn't get the vapor bomb again. 1-2-3 works perfectly.
- berkeleyjew, on 10/11/2007, -0/+15 3 1 = Explosive, with relatively big fragments. If you lob it right, it just mows down everything ahead and in behind it.
It's not bad against witches, but your best bet is to increase the red drastically, hit them with a sticky blob, and go back to crowd control with the other formula.
Not so good against invisible spearmen and red spiders.. I think you need flames for that, but I haven't found a good area-of-effect flame potion (other than 100 100 100).
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Try 1-2-3 or 1-3-3
- SIRBERUS, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11-1-3 is green goo for me... no vapor
- ijonard, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I used 2 2 2 and I still haven't lost. Simple yellow blob, works for any unit.
- OrlyonokEaglet, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Here's the best potion mixture I've found:
blue:10
red:10
yellow:0
That's it. I made it to level 18 with that. Just upgrade explosions (2x) and faster reloading. Don't get the wall spikes - monsters can attack them sooner and they make your potions explode.
The real trick is to click the mouse just when the potion hits the floor - it seems you get a double explosion then.
The other trick is to shoot cannon straight up to make the potion land on your side of the wall - that way you never hit monster heads (smaller explosion) and always hit the floor with the double explosion.
When there is a witch - get yellow to 50 and aim for the witch, one shot is enough. Then go back to 10 10 0. - mcspasatron1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0i found out that if you use any exploding potion there is a good chance (70%) and good timing that if you explode it right before it explodes then it will activate twice using double damage and a 1-2 mm sistance apart.
- CoHNerd, on 10/11/2007, -0/+06 - 9 - 1
Great substained burn. Direct hits to witch only takes 2 -3 and she is dead
I can get three slugs in a row without a second shot.
Awesome cheep mix very effective - mcspasatron1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0when i ment exploding i also meant gas, explosions and goo...i am not sure about fire...

Here's some advice for the rest.
Whenever you feel overwhelmed, add 10 to both blue and red. By the end, I was using 70 for both.
At level 20, you'll meet your first giant. The thing can take down a wall in three hits. Temporarily raise both blue and red to 100 and keep on doing double explosions, you should be able to take him down after he breaks down the wall but before he reaches you.
After getting level two for explosions and buying fast reload, go for fire. You're gonna need it for later level when you encounter more than one giant in a level. After the wall goes down, double explosions won't do enough damage to the giants before they reach you. So temporarily raise all three potions to 100.
BTW, you could adjust the mixture and purchase potions with the game paused.
There are 30 levels in all. Good luck. - bickdigg, on 10/11/2007, -2/+198 21 43 ... Cluster bomb FTW .:.
- yoyodude7821, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0THIS GAME LAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGS SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH
- MajorApus, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0it glitches on me and everything was immune, one of the potions effects was active in the corner of the screen
endurance games shouldn't have glitches, it makes it unplayable - fuzzboxer, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1Pretty boring once you find a good potion.
